The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.

Everything is great, helpful front desk, good breakfast, comfy bed with big Tv, self service laundry room, clean room with all utensils you need. The downsides are its right opposite bar and clubs which means it’s extremely noisy with car horns, traffic whistles and anything that you can imagine at night. It doesn’t get quiet until you are about to wake up in the morning. Also, although it’s a non-smoking hotel, since the rooms are functioned under central aircond unit, the room is covered with cigarette smell, which makes me feel uncomfortable once I step into the room. Other than noise and smell, I am happy with my stay here and would recommend this hotel.

Do your homework and stay in this hotel that night. The security guy at the gate is very warm and thoughtful. Ask him some places to play and he will tell you what he knows. Living on the third floor (the breakfast room is also on the third floor) along the commercial street (as shown in the picture) is a bit noisy during the day. Everything else is ok. There are many bars, restaurants and supermarkets around the commercial street. It is very convenient and the room facilities are complete. Overall good 👍

I stayed in a superior twin room on the 8th floor. The room was slightly larger, with a balcony and a reasonable layout; 3. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas. The hot water temperature is high but the water pressure is unstable. The main reason is that the bathroom towels are old and slightly yellow; 4. The room exhaust uses the central temperature control of the hotel. The room air conditioner is only decorated and cannot adjust the heating and cooling functions independently. The hotel heated room temperature is as high as 27 or 28 degrees; 5. There is a bar downstairs, and there is noise at night, and there is currently road construction downstairs, which is still under construction at 11:30 in the evening, which has a great impact on rest; 6. The hotel does not have its own parking lot. Parking in the parking lot downstairs belongs to the property and you have to pay for it at your own expense. As shown in Figure 5, I checked in at around 9:30 in the evening and left at 9 in the morning. The parking fee is 17 yuan, for reference only.

This is a nice hotel in a charming courtyard, but tourists might want to base themselves closer to Cuihu Lake, where the cafes and restaurants are. The bathroom was especially great - shower had high pressure and really hot water. The staff were kind and kept our bags during the day while we were out. My only complaint is the very uncomfortable pillows (which were old and way too high) and the lack of soundproofing.

Location was good, walking distance to the railway station. Room was spacious, water pressure good. Reason for average score was due to the mattress which was most uncomfortable due to the mattress springs protruding on the surface such that one can feel the spring coils poking your body when trying to get a good sleep. Feels like management has forgotten to add the top layer of the box spring! It is for this very reason that I have decided to book in at another hotel on my subsequent trip to Kunming.
