Amazing location and such a warm place to stay, Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here!
The location couldn’t be better: the old town and the castle are right outside the door, and you can even see Heidelberg Castle just by looking up. It’s about a ten-minute walk uphill to the castle and less than ten minutes to the bridge. There’s also a bus stop downstairs with a direct connection to the main train station.
I truly love this place. It’s my first choice in Germany, and honestly, I would come back to Heidelberg just to stay here again.
The owner and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and everything is spotlessly clean. The guests are friendly, respectful and quiet, which makes it easy to meet people while still feeling relaxed.
Every bed has its own power socket, there’s a female-only bathroom and shower, fresh bed linen, lockers, a spacious kitchen and a cozy common room. I especially loved the photo wall, the guest book and the world map with pins. Free coffee and milk , hair dryer available.
The heating is great, the view outside the window is beautiful, and there’s even a small balcony garden. In the cold German winter, this place truly warmed my heart. It’s honestly my favorite hostel. I really hope to come back!

Anonymous UserThe price of €160 per night (including €10 for breakfast) mainly covers these five unbeatable locations: by the Neckar River, next to the Old Bridge, with views of the bronze monkey right from the window. The traditional, compact single rooms are perfect for solo travelers. The breakfast is highly recommended and very generous.

ShenhuaguowangThe location is excellent. It's an 8-minute walk from the back of the train station after you get off. Public buses and trams are also convenient for getting to various places (pedestrian street, old castle, Neckar River, hospitals, university departments). The suite is spacious enough and has a small kitchen. Breakfast is 18 euros, and the restaurant is large with good food, coffee, and various teas. The hotel's courtyard/lawn is huge, and it's very pleasant to have a drink there in the evening. There's also a laundry room.

XiayewandexingchenFacilities: Decent
Hygiene: Very clean and comfortable
Environment: Located on the edge of the old town, it's a compromise distance to both the train station and the old town.
Service: Very good, as expected from a big brand; the staff are well-mannered.
I really liked the breakfast at this hotel. Some might find it not lavish enough, but it had everything I enjoy, and it was great value for money. If I come back to Heidelberg, I'd definitely choose to stay here again. I slept very well that night.

Guest UserNice hotel, very friendly staff, delicious breakfast and more than enough, one diner in the restaurant was also very good.
Sometimes the floor where we slept was a little noisy, And after our opinion the rooms were 2, 3 grades to warm.

Heidelberg is worth visiting, it is a very comfortable city. First of all, the hotel is very close to the highway exit. Although it is on the side, it is very convenient to go to the central square. Parking on the roadside is free. The front desk guy is very humorous and street free. Of course, if you want to be safe, you can also park in the parking lot next to it for 10 euros. Secondly, although the room is small, it has everything. The bathroom is still OK and not crowded. The family room for three people is enough and feels quite warm. Finally, Heidelberg is beautiful in the morning. Walking on the Philosopher's Trail and overlooking the entire old town of Heidelberg is still very impressive. In addition, Heidelberg Castle is also worth going up. Looking at the old town from here, you can take pictures of the red bricks and white walls on the postcard.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is close to the train and bus station so good for those arriving after a long journey. It’s also not too far from the downtown area and has easy access to public transportation. The room was a little small but very comfortable. We didn’t have too many interactions with staff but we were fortunate that the check in desk was open when we arrived as they are only open a few hours a day and the self check in machine could not recognise my booking.

Anonymous UserSpacious, bright and hygienic, without the smell of old houses. The location is very good. It is located at the corner of the old city center, opposite the square transportation hub. There is a large department store in front and a supermarket in the back. There are many restaurants around and there are many restaurants on the pedestrian street opposite, which is full of style. The two large windows have great views, and most attractions can be covered on foot. Note that there is only Wi-Fi in public areas; there is no air conditioning, but there are fans and heaters; the private parking lot is diagonally across the road, and the parking garage driveway is very narrow, so you need to go to the front desk to get the garage key first. Overall, the price-performance ratio is super high, very satisfied👍
