"I check the reviews before deciding to stay here. It’s a budget hotel, but parking is easy ( additional cost) and there’s an EV charger available, which was very convenient. It’s only a 10 mins walk to the cinema and there’s are plenty restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming."
"Stayed for 2 nights. Lidl and Sainsbury's are just a few steps away, and my favorite Gress is also nearby, close to the train station – just turn right across the street and walk a bit further. There's even a KFC downstairs! Very satisfied overall, though the bathroom is a bit small."
"I genuinely do not recommend this hotel. After checking in, I found a large, awkwardly placed pillar in the room, which severely impacted the living experience. The bathroom also had a pungent, unpleasant odor, indicating a poor environment. It's clear the hotel assigns less desirable rooms to foreign guests, which significantly detracts from the overall experience. I advise everyone to book with caution."
"The hotel reception was very friendly. We arrived late, around 9:30 PM, because we were shopping at Bicester Village. The hotel is next to a Holiday Inn and has a decent-sized parking lot; it costs 6 pounds for an overnight stay, deducted from the deposit. Our room rate included dinner, but since the restaurant closed at 9 PM, the hotel arranged for us to eat at the bar next door. We ordered steak and fish and chips, which were surprisingly good, especially the steak. The room and bed were both very spacious, and the breakfast was excellent, featuring smoked salmon. Everyone in our group agreed it was great. There's also a traditional British reception room near the entrance, perfect for taking photos!"
"The hotel is neat and the staff are welcoming. However, there is a bed bug in their rooms. When I complained about it, I was moved to another room in which there are also bed bugs."
"Very new hotel in a very new city, next to it is still the turf.
The room design is good, the lighting is full, that is, the equipment that the general hotel should have.
The parking lot is full of parking spaces, and there are not many supermarkets, outlets and a restaurant within walking distance.
There was an episode during the stay, and the fire alarm rang at 4 o'clock in the middle of the night, but the hotel only said a false alarm.
Overall, it is a choice in the middle of the rules."
"Great room spotlessly clean. Good size. Good sized bathroom. Stayed in room to back of hotel. Little noise. Great location. Not far from restaurants and theatre and shops. Great breakfast. Would definitely stay again."

Amazing
GGuest UserGreat stay! Central location, quick walk to all city attractions. Rooms are clean, quiet and beds extremely comfym. The best hotel in Sheffield this trip. Breakfast range is generous and tasty, staff friendly and professional. Perfect base for visiting Sheffield, will return.
TTBWAFCRoom was nice for the price, good water pressure and hot. Room was warm, bed comfy. Would have loved a kettle, and the parking permit they provide is a piece of paper which for my albeit niche position as a motorcyclist meant they just told me, don't worry if you get fined you'll get it cancelled, which is never fun!
Also they take card for damage deposit which isn't actually an issue but it isn't notified at booking like nearly all others who do the same which is a bit subversive.
GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel and would like to provide some feedback regarding the breakfast service.
The overall environment is pleasant, the location is good, and the hotel appears newly renovated. This is my second stay, largely because I previously enjoyed the excellent breakfast. However, on this occasion the breakfast quality seemed to have deteriorated. In my opinion, the food variety was noticeably reduced and did not justify the £20 per person charge.
I also observed that breakfast closes at 09:30am on weekdays, yet most guests tend to arrive around 9:00am, creating unnecessary rush and congestion. Extending the breakfast service to 10:00am would significantly improve the guest experience and better accommodate typical guest behaviour.
I hope Radisson would consider this feedback as part of their ongoing service improvements.
GGuest UserExcellent, it even has a balcony.
The room is significantly larger than other hotels in Sheffield.
Although it's a bit far from the university, it's quite close to the cathedral in the city center. The room and surrounding environment are fantastic, with a beautiful little river nearby. Breakfast purchased can be refunded in advance with the front desk if you suddenly decide you don't need it anymore. The service was truly excellent. Just remember to ask the front desk for toilet paper if you run out. I stayed with my family for my graduation ceremony, and even with a lot of luggage, we had plenty of room. If I have the chance to come to Sheffield again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.
DDarkTouristMy stay at the Rutland Hotel was really pleasant. The staff were friendly and kind; the lady at the check-in desk was particularly lovely, and I was lucky enough to get the last available parking space!
I thought the room was perfect for a solo traveler, providing me with a comfortable base after a day of exploring the city before attending a show the following day. Everywhere was clean and tidy. I made use of the facilities, enjoying a relaxing shower and winding down in my pyjamas with an episode of Midsomer Murders (each room has a tv and wifi). I ordered room service and the curry was tasty.
The only downside was that the room was really hot throughout the night. Even with the provided fan running and the window and curtains left open, it remained uncomfortably warm. Aside from that, it was an enjoyable stay.
I would stay here again, but hopefully not in a room so hot!! To the staff - thank you for being so lovely :)
GGuest UserLove this hotel ❤️
2nd stay here this year
Came for a birthday treat and Antonia on the desk treated us to a late checkout and 2 free drinks at the bar! Great customer service.
The beds are the most comphy beds I've slept in....would have took it home if I could!
Great location for the train
Station and lots of near by car parks if you drive.
The bar has a good vibe sells a mice range of beer including Camden Pale Ale. Good ciffeea too at reasonable prices. The bar staff are very friendly.
The all you can eat and drink breakfast is 10/10 and is on until 11amnat the weekend...perfect after a big night out
Would definitely recommend 👌
Yyao6_We chose this place for a hiking trip to the Peak District. It's just a short uphill walk from the train station.
There are several Chinese supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient for groceries.

The room was spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower. You need to swipe your card to use the elevator, and there's CCTV in the hallway. You can hang a sign on your door if you don't want your room cleaned. We stayed for four nights and felt very safe.

‼️ You can check out before 12 PM.
‼️ However, the hotel's Wi-Fi isn't very smooth.
The housekeepers make a lot of noise every morning while cleaning, which really disturbs light sleepers who want to sleep in a bit.
MMengskyI wouldn't consider this a good stay, as I encountered several issues. First, the check-in process was a hassle since this hotel doesn't have a front desk. I spent hours calling the hotel, facing either ”Line busy” or no response after a long wait. If it wasn’t for Trip.com's customer service finally connecting with the hotel, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Second, the wooden door in my room was difficult to close; it required a hard push and made a loud ”bang.” The glass sliding door of the shower room was also problematic, it fell out on my first pull, and I'm certainly not strong enough to break a door with just one pull. Lastly, and most frustratingly, was the toilet paper situation. It was my first time encountering a toilet without a single roll of paper. I can't imagine what I would be if I hadn't brought my own in my bag that day. On a positive note, the room was well-equipped with a fridge, oven, heater, toaster, and even an iron, which suggests the hotel might have been quite good when the things are all good a few years ago, but not now.
GGuest UserIt was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.
