The man who helped for check in was very professional and friendly, spoke French and English too which was great. I asked for the tourist information at the desk too which was very clear and helpful. The parking was easy in front of the hotel, a spacious room, a great choice for breakfast. Cleanliness, in general was good, except a few spots on the floor in the bathroom was missed. I will recommend to any of my friends.

The apartment has an excellent location; it's within walking distance of the city walk and shopping areas, and Porta Nuova train station is also within easy walking distance. The M4 tram line is right outside, which is very convenient. Turin's public transport is very convenient, so there's no need to take a taxi. I took an Uber once, and it took 20 minutes to get there 😄. Nearby Chinese, Japanese, and Italian restaurants are all good choices based on Google reviews. The hotel was clean and well-equipped, with a washing machine (which was great) and they even provided a small bag of laundry detergent. The mattress was exceptionally soft. There's a kitchen, but no condiments. There's a shared workspace on the first floor where you can drink coffee, but only espresso is available in small and large sizes.

This hotel really amazed me. It is a century-old building with a huge wooden door. There are winding paths inside. The receptionist is very sexy. I will take you to the room for introduction. The suite also has a large terrace, a local lavazza coffee machine in the living room, two bathrooms, and a good kitchen. Everything is just right. It is simply too perfect. I woke up in the morning and had a cup of authentic espresso in my own small yard. It was really amazing.

Very spacious for a dorm . Excellent! The kitchen is in the basement and not used much. Basically a boutique hotel with a dorm at the roof only. Great alternative to a backpackers hostel.

Amazing stay in a great student campus. You have a study area, a gym, a nice clean room with high ceilings and a kitchen, communal living room spaces and even a tennis court! Definitely more than you need from a couple nights in the city. The area is very close to the Center, and the transport links are great. Buses get you to the city centre in 15 minutes while walking will take you more like 25-30 min. Also they have a large supermarket in the same building, which is super convenient as they have plenty of choice. But beware — there’s a homeless guy nestling right by the supermarket (that street can get some dodgy action at night). As per the accommodation, the biggest community there is composed of students - all very welcoming and friendly. Receptionists and staff are also very helpful. Feels like a hotel. Recommend 👍🏻

Nice enough hotel but located way too far from the centre if you’re relying on public transport. If you have your own car then it’s probably ok. Typical fairly basic Novotel hotel room. Relatively low occupancy when we stayed so didn’t notice any neighbour noise. Tram line was undergoing repair work when we were there which made it very inconvenient to get to the hotel.

Convenient location near the metro stops, friendly service, good breakfast, including a savory selection. I'd say it was a comfortable stay. The room could use some updating, like a small piece of baseboard missing and a repaint in the bathroom, but it's decent and warm. They let me leave my luggage after checkout. Excellent value for money.

Hotel and room itself were okay, but I was shocked when someone opened my door and walked into my room at 9:15am in the morning without knocking or ringing beforehand, while I was still sleeping . Again someone (not sure if same person) walked into my room at around 10am (checkout time is 12pm), this time it was the mini-bar guy, asking if the mini bar items need to be restocked. I brought this up at the reception upon checkout, and the receptionist was a bit surprised to hear and stated that she would speak with the mini-bar guy. Another, seemingly more senior receptionist chimed in, and seemed to put the blame on me for not putting out the ”do not disturb” sign at my door. I've stayed in numerous high/low end hotels in multiple countries around the world, I've never had a guy open my room door and walk into my room just because I didn't put out a ”dnd” sign. Again, checkout time is 12:00pm.

The hotel was nice and super clean, well situated, close to transport. The only problem is that they put the heat up really high. Looks like it’s a common heater for all rooms. We had about 40°C in our room and the bathroom. We asked to the front desk clerk if they could turn it off. They said they would but they didn’t. He had to sleep half naked and with both windows open because it was extremely hot inside the room. At the end of March I think it’s a little too much.

Value-for-Money Stay with Room for Improvement Hotel Diplomatic offers good value for money, especially with its comfortable beds and quality pillows which made for a restful stay. The breakfast spread was generous and satisfying. However, some finishes—particularly the flooring—could use a refresh to better reflect the hotel’s 4-star rating. It would also be helpful to have insect screens on the windows, especially since the air conditioning is centrally controlled. While the location is a bit removed from the main attractions, it's still reasonable considering the price point.
