Great location, two metro lines are within a 5-minute walk. There are also many restaurants and bars in this area, and for shopping you can walk 15 minutes to Roppongi hills. But the coolest thing about this room is the variety of different face masks, foams and milk for washing, jacuzzi salt, milk for hair styling, face lotion and a lot of things for skin care, there is also a good hair dryer and curling iron with a curler. You can relax as much as possible after long walks around the city. The only downside is the monotonous breakfast, the food is very tasty, but considering that we lived for 5 nights, it starts to get boring. The service is excellent, all the staff are friendly, many speak English, those who do not speak it communicated with us perfectly with the help of a translator.

The hotel is conveniently located on Chyoda metro line, there are some supermarkets nearby with long business hours so you won't starve returning late. You can use a public elevator to go to the hotel from metro exit 3b, otherwise you'll have to walk uphill. There is a vending machine in the hotel with nice instant noodles and beer. The hotel offers nice treats like macarons and donuts, as well as good face lotion etc.
Breakfast is quite good. Our room had a view on a cemetery but who cares. The beds were a bit on the harder side but clean, without any unpleasant smell.
Overall, the hotel offers a very good value for the price.

The room was a bit small, but it had all the essential amenities. The bathroom was quite tiny, and it would be cramped for two people. If you want a Tokyo Tower view room, make sure to book the room type shown with the Tokyo Tower in the picture and request 'tower view' in your notes. During the May Day holiday, the Tokyo Tower lights shut off at midnight. Breakfast was a bit pricey, costing an additional 150 or 190 per person (can't quite remember the exact amount), but the variety was excellent, and the freshly made cheese scrambled eggs were delicious. You can see the Tokyo Tower from the breakfast restaurant. The lobby is beautiful, and they offer luggage storage on both check-in and check-out days. The staff were all very friendly.

The room was clean and the staff were accommodating enough, but the beds were terrible! I woke up with aches the next day
If you don’t mind this, I would recommend anyone who wants to stay in the area as the location of this hotel is fantastic

Best stay!! The staff member at the concierge Ms M Matsui was very helpful and went out of her way to assist me in making some urgent local calls cos of my inability to communicate in Japanese. The staff were all v gracious and hospitable. Great location. Good food everywhere. Safe and clean environment. Fantastic spa with outdoor and indoor onsen. A hotel with taste and class!

The facilities are complete with towels and toiletries provided, and the sheets are already made. The interior is very clean, the fan is always on, providing excellent air circulation, and there are plenty of showers and toilets. In terms of hardware, this is the best hostel I've experienced in Japan. The location is also great, not far from the subway station, and within walking distance to Tokyo Tower, Shiba Park, and even the beach if you walk a bit further.
The only slight drawback is that, although it's self-check-in and I didn't expect much help from the front desk, the staff member's expression was too cold when she saw someone. After making eye contact, she immediately turned her head away. I hope the hotel can at least provide some basic hospitality training for its staff.
It's close to the railway, so there's an occasional rumbling sound, but earplugs are provided. Considering the price, it's almost a perfect hostel.
Established over 100 years ago! Located in the heart of Tokyo close to JR Tamachi Station and Mita Station on the subway, this ryokan is perfect for business travel in Tokyo. Even though the hotel is rather old, everything was very clean and well maintained. Location is very comfortable- between three metro stations, good starting point everyday to explore city. There is also a lot of nice restaurants nearby. Price includes cleaning room, changing sheets and towels everyday. We felt very comfortable, welcomed and relaxed!

My stay at the Tokyo Shiba Park Hotel was generally decent, with some standout features that make it suitable for various types of travelers:
- Room Experience: The room was indeed small, but it made up for it by being clean and tidy. The layout was compact yet didn't feel cramped, perfectly sufficient for a daily stay. If you're not particular about space, it's perfectly acceptable.
- Location Advantage: I have to praise the location! It's super close to Tokyo Tower and the Imperial Palace, making it convenient for walking or taking a taxi. The surrounding transportation is well-developed, getting to Shibuya and Shinjuku quickly. It's ideal for both business trips and tourism.
- Breakfast Surprise: The breakfast was surprisingly Sichuan cuisine! It was a bit unexpected, but the taste was quite good. Dishes like spicy chicken and Dandan noodles were authentic, a pleasant surprise for anyone craving a taste of home.
- Service Impression: The service attitude was very good. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and any issues were promptly resolved. Overall, the staff was quite attentive.
Suitable for: Business travelers, family vacations, and couples' getaways – it's suitable for all. The value for money is good. If you're not overly concerned about room size and prioritize location and convenience, this hotel is definitely worth considering.
When staying at Kaike shibaura, you'll be perfectly positioned to explore Minato Ward.

Though small, it had everything you needed; finding a place like this in Tokyo was truly a rare treat.
It was spacious enough for one person, but a little cramped with two beds. Thankfully, there was a walk-in closet to store our large suitcases. The place was very clean, and check-in was incredibly convenient. They sent us a password a day in advance, which allowed us to enter directly. Check-out was easy on our phones.
It's only about 800-900 meters from the subway station, a fantastic location. We took the Yamanote Line to Shinjuku, which was a direct train ride, quite convenient, although fares can be a bit higher on weekends.
The place was fully equipped with pots and pans, a boon for those who enjoy cooking.

KkhosodaI had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by every aspect of the experience. The cleanliness was exceptional—everything from the room to the common areas was spotless and very well maintained. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing more than enough space to relax after a long day.
The location is another major highlight. It is very convenient and well-situated, making it easy to access nearby attractions, transportation, and restaurants. This made my stay even more enjoyable and stress-free.
The service was outstanding throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm and professional attitude. Their hospitality truly made a difference.
The food was also delicious, with a great variety of options and excellent quality. Every meal I had was satisfying and enjoyable.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.
GGuest UserQuite a disappointing stay. I initially thought it was a Dormy Inn because the first characters of the name were the same, and it was also a hot spring hotel, which made it very confusing. The service here was a world apart from Dormy Inn. The room was incredibly small. The breakfast in the pictures looked very rich, and I thought it would be a lavish buffet, but it turned out to be just a bento box, and they didn't even provide cutlery. The price wasn't cheap either. It really ruined my mood. The hot spring was also tiny, and they didn't even provide hair dryers in the hot spring area.
MmtmlCleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob).
Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn.
They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park.
However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay:
1. They insisted on entering my room for an ”inspection” but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around.
2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said ”oh... sorry” suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.
SSupattra(kung)The room is small, Japanese-style11 sqm i book conneting room, The location is very convenient, close to JR. There’s a FamilyMart, AEON, and many delicious and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. You can walk to Tobu Department Store every day for shopping.
The hotel offers a welcome drink available anytime, and there is a separate onsen for men and women. In the evening at 6:00 PM, there is a free happy hour with drinks—perfect for alcohol lovers. My husband really loved it.
The amenities are also of good quality. If I visit Japan again, I would definitely choose to stay here—the price is very reasonable too.
AAnonymous UserEvery time I visit Tokyo, I stay at this hotel, and the service is consistently great. My only recurring comment, which I've made before, is about the breakfast. It hasn't changed in years, not even the layout. I really hope the hotel can improve this and start offering eggs, whether boiled or fried.
GGuest UserThe location is great, the metro is maybe 1 min walk. By metro your only a few stops away from any big attractions. And after a long day in the city you can come back to enjoy the onsen. The only bad thing I can say about my stay was the someone in the capsule across from mine snored so loud it was nearly impossible to sleep.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is a typical budget option with nothing particularly memorable about the stay. Basic amenities were provided, but not well maintained — the soap and shampoo came in small sachets and were not consistently replenished. The pillow was quite small and overly soft, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
CCN_NanaThe facility was great in general. Except you cant stay over the day its just for sleeping, showering and then you can leave it ln daytime, leave your stuff, as they clean and restrict the sleeping area. Otherwise it was kind of an all inclusive experience and did have a clean and nice washroom, as well as all round service. But it was a bit loud in the morning, the cleaning stuff rummages around exactly in front of the bed, talking, making noise cleaining beds 2 hours before check out.
GGuest UserEasy 6-7min walk to Keisei-Ueno (Skyliner) station and Ueno station. Main and Annex blocks. Single room SUPER SMALL. Unable to fully open clam-shell suitcase on the floor. Have to place it on “foldable” table.
HUGE Pillar about 70cmx70cm occupies 1 corner of the room. Widest path between bed and wall about 80 cm.
GGuest UserThe stay was enjoyable. The person that cleaned the rooms was really friendly and helped us always out. Washing machine was perfect for us. The only complain I have is that under the bed it was really dirty.
Some top places to stay in Tokyo are near popular attractions like Shinjuku City, Shibuya and Ueno—so you can quickly get to top landmarks and amenities you need.
