"Absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, making it easy to get anywhere. It's just a two-minute walk from Dongdaemun Exit 6 (which has an elevator). The front desk staff were incredibly warm and lovely, and the hotel itself is new and spotless. They even provide thoughtful amenities like umbrellas and portable chargers for rent. You can log into Netflix and YouTube on the TV. Breakfast is served until noon, and instant noodles, coffee, and tea are available 24/7. It's truly perfect, I'll definitely be back! 😻"
"My daughter's first trip to Korea, so I went with her. It's super convenient for sightseeing in Dongdaemun. There are also restaurants on the first floor and a convenience store nearby, so you won't have any trouble. I was a bit confused because the sign outside still had the old hotel name, but I figured it out quickly. The hotel staff were really great too. It seems like the lower floors are still under renovation, but it didn't bother us at all. The room is compact, with only enough space to open one small suitcase, but since we were just sleeping there, it was fine. Having outlets above the bed was a big plus. The bathroom facilities were also good, with excellent water pressure. There's no one at the front desk at night, but if you needed anything, you could just grab it from the entrance. It felt like you could connect with them via LINE if you had any issues (though we didn't have any, so we didn't contact them). I'd definitely want to stay here again if I travel to Korea alone."
"First off, the hotel service is great, especially the breakfast. There's a good variety, and the waiter is really enthusiastic and quite charming. The hygiene is just okay; I found a hair on the bed, and the bedding felt a bit old and worn. The duvet was also a little thin. The bathroom has a bathtub, which isn't very convenient; I think it would be better to remove it, though that might be too costly. The hotel's location is excellent, right near Dongdaemun, with plenty of shopping malls and restaurants nearby. The price isn't too high either, so overall, it's great value for money."
"Clean, comfortable stay in this hotel, with fantastic location near a subway station serving 2 lines.
Friendly and helpful staff at the reception helped to carry luggages as there's no elevator.
Free ramyeon, coffee, tea and the use of washing machine and dryer (within stipulated time).
No kettle but there's a water dispenser, very convenient!
Ear plugs are provided as sound-proofing is not good.
Overall, an awesome stay!"
"For this price point, I honestly think this hotel is pretty good! The room is a bit small – we struggled to open two suitcases – but it has a massive TV that you can cast Netflix and YouTube to. Watching TV on such a huge screen was incredibly satisfying. As for cleanliness, it's neither outstanding nor terrible; those who are particularly finicky might not like it. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the subway station, which is acceptable. You can also walk to Dongdaemun in a short while, so the location is decent (though next time I might choose to stay in Myeongdong). Ordering takeout is super convenient; you can basically get all the popular takeout options from Xiaohongshu. I highly recommend ordering takeout, the Korean delivery food is truly amazing and delicious! 🔥 The front desk staff were very friendly, always greeting us when we returned. Overall, it's a good hotel, suitable for those who aren't too picky about accommodation and want to save money 🩷❤️"
"Facilities: Overall, pretty good. Even though the hotel is old, the facilities are well-maintained. The main drawbacks are that there are no power outlets by the bedside table, so you have to charge your devices at the desk. Also, one washing machine was out of order, leading to queues during peak laundry hours in the evening.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Environment: Great location, close to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park subway station Exit 6 (just a few hundred meters walk, very convenient). You can see Namsan Tower from the window. The CJ ENM building is directly opposite the hotel. It's very convenient for visiting Dongdaemun, Myeongdong, Gyeongbokgung, etc. However, Exit 6 of the subway has many stairs, which can be really tiring if you're carrying a large suitcase.
Service: Overall good. The front desk staff all speak Chinese, so communication is smooth. Any issues are resolved promptly.
(All photos were taken with a 1x lens, no wide-angle. The room is genuinely very small, but it's clean, conveniently located, and a good choice when the price is right.)"
"This place is literally 10 seconds from Dongdaemun Station Exit! The location was absolutely perfect. The room was spacious and clean, exceeding my expectations, and the interior design was so beautiful, which made my stay incredibly pleasant. The room condition was on par with a luxury hotel, so I was really satisfied. I definitely want to revisit this place next time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
"My family and I stay at Blueduck hotel for consecutive 6 nights. Everything went perfect!
The room was really new and well-arranged. Front office staffs were all nice and good English speaking. Also, you will get OliveYoung discount coupon as well as 2 cups of Americano (get at the Cafe) for free daily! The taste of coffee and cafe vibe was great too.
The location is really convenient to travel in the heart of Seoul, you can walk to Gwangjung market for 5mins. There’re plenty of local restaurants nearby even in front of the hote.
Only CONS to give is the toilet floor was slippery- if the hotel could provide the bath mat, that would be perfect!
10 out of 10 score anyway, definitely recommended!"
"The location is quite good. For dining, you can head to Myeongdong, and there's also a KFC and Burger King along the main road if you walk a bit. Public transport, including buses and subways, is fairly convenient, though it does involve a 8-20 minute walk. An airport bus stop is located just across the intersection to the right when you exit the hotel. There are also GS25 and 7-Eleven convenience stores nearby. I booked the Deluxe Family Twin Room. The TV was large and easy to operate, and the air conditioning was incredibly fast and smart. However, the room size was a bit small; with three people, there was hardly any space to move around. There was no desk against the wall or upright chairs, and the sink was right next to the bed, which was a bit inconvenient. The room provided complimentary purified water, coffee, and tea, along with an electric kettle and hairdryer. The cleaning was very thorough. Because we had many people and accumulated a lot of mixed trash, some of it wasn't properly sorted. I left a memo when we checked out. 🙏 The front desk service was very warm and welcoming. Staff spoke Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. They also offered free luggage storage and had a restroom and lounge area. Overall, the minor flaws don't detract from its quality. Considering all these factors and the price, I would still highly recommend this hotel."
"This place exceeded my expectations!
**Location:** It's located in Dongdaemun, so there are plenty of restaurants right outside, and public transport is super convenient.
**Price:** It's amazing that 4 of us could stay here for this price.
**Space:** The room we stayed in was a spacious quad room, which was really comfortable and nice.
**Facilities:** Everything felt brand new and was perfect. The beds, furniture, bathroom, hairdryer, curling iron, and even the makeup mirror were all top-notch.
**Amenities:** They provide complimentary bottled water, ramen, and coffee, which was great – we enjoyed some ramen after getting back to our room. There were also towels and toilet paper readily available in the common areas.
**Lounge:** There's a lounge with a view of the outside where my friend and I could chat over a cup of coffee.
During the day, the staff played quiet music while cleaning, which created a lovely atmosphere. And the air conditioning in the room was incredibly cool and comfortable.
It was perfectly spacious for 3 or 4 people, and considering the price per person, it was extremely reasonable and excellent value. I would recommend this place to foreign friends and I'll definitely be back myself."

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellen with several train stations nearby, making it very convenient!
I would consider staying here again on my next trip!
The only thing that bothered me was that a sewage smell started filling the bathroom from the second night of my stay...
The cups provided in the room are paper cups so guests who prefer regular cups may want to bring their own.
It was also very convenient that I could store my suitcase in a locker inside the hotel even after checking out!
MMocha&DuoDuoOur stay was perfect, and it all started with the incredible front desk team. After a long-haul flight from the US, we arrived in Seoul exhausted. We knew check-in wasn't until 3 PM, but the staff were so thoughtful and proactively checked to see if a room was available. They kindly offered us an early check-in, which was an absolute lifesaver and allowed us to recharge immediately. A special shout-out to the staff member who also noticed I had two separate bookings for my 4-night stay and seamlessly arranged to keep me in the same room—such careful attention to detail!
Location-wise, this hotel is unbeatable. It’s steps away from the metro and the airport bus stop, making transfers a breeze. Plus, the neighborhood is buzzing with great restaurants and unique boutiques—perfect for shopping and eating to your heart's content. We can't wait to come back!
FFen ah ahAll good and everything is meet my expectations for the room cleaniness and services. The location is at the cetre of the market street and very convenient for street walking and shopping.Breakfast nice and variety of choices. Not much facilities like swimming pool or gym room for this hotel, but it is ok as i don't use it usually. The only bad is taxi cannot reach direct to this hotel and you have to carry your heavy luggage to the main road for the taxi.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent. It's very close to Sinsa Subway Station, and if you stick to the main road, there's no steep hill like some photos online might suggest.
It's right next to Seoul Forest, and you can walk to Apgujeong in about 10-15 minutes. There's also a three-story Olive Young just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, which is super convenient! While the rooms aren't huge, the soundproofing is pretty good, and the shower water pressure is absolutely fantastic!
If you stay here, definitely make sure to check out the cafe on the top floor – the views are amazing. Overall, highly recommend. (Pics 1 & 2: Hotel rooftop cafe/bar. Pics 3 & 4: Views from the room)
MMattyFThe room is small and a little boring but you’re paying for the location, and it’s comfortable and clean. There’s a good beer bar, Seoulista, on the ground floor. There’s is an aerial walkway connected, which goes to Seoul Station. You can also use the metro Exit 7 (I think) but it will charge you just for walking through if you are coming from the AirPort Express. The breakfast arrangements are quite eccentric, but I had a good breakfast.
EEddrenI had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people.
One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds you’d find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city.
Travel Tip:
From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If you’re carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator — just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul.
MMisa93The location is good if you want peace, since it's close to Bukhansan National Park and not city centre. The room is very spacious, but the cleanliness was so-so. I found someone's hair on the bedside table, and the tiles in the bathroom weren't very clean. I guess it's what you get for the price. If you're a budget traveller, it's a good choice, if you want something more, look for other places. But the view was amazing.
GGuest UserIt's always a nice stay here! The location is very great, olive young is downstairs , and the subway station also downstairs, it's near the airport bus stop too! They have bidet and the toilet is scpacious, the room also spacious, you can store many luggages, they have tables and chairs too for you to eat or have some work, their receptionist lobby and all the staff also very helpful during my stay, definitely recommended, not to mention they have 24h convenient store at the 3rd floor and laundry room
AAnonymous UserIt's not really excellent but You get what you payed for.
Aside from they only provide small size face towels.
My only complain is they should no longer provide towels with discolorations and stains.
Check in is strict 3pm
Check out is 11am
No elevator
No own kettle inside the room but u can use the pantry on the 4th floor with microwave.
Near subway station line9 naebang.
AAnonymous UserGreat location, with a subway station and bus stops nearby. The room is tiny, like a goshiwon (a type of small, affordable room often found in Korea), only suitable for one person. The entire check-in process is self-service, making it ideal for a quick one-night stay.
Some top places to stay in Seoul are near popular attractions like Myeong-dong and Heunginjimun Gate (Dongdaemun)—so you can quickly get to top landmarks and amenities you need.
