Hotels near Isla de Cabras Park, San Juan

"Casablanca Hotel is a unique boutique stay inspired by Moroccan and Mediterranean design, creating a romantic, old-world atmosphere. From its charming interior courtyard with lush greenery to the rooftop terrace featuring lounge seating, jacuzzis, unique soaking tubs, and beautiful views over Old San Juan, it offers plenty of character and charm. The amenities are fairly basic—there’s no bellhop service, in-room coffee maker, blow dryer, or specialty drinks and snacks—but if you’re looking for an affordable stay with a memorable ambiance, it’s an excellent choice. I made new friends, truly enjoyed my time there, and would happily stay again."

"This hotel was very nicely located and had a fair amount of parking if you rent a car. There are 2 coffee shop’s very close that is super nice for the morning if you’re planning on walking into old San Juan. There is no hair dryer or lotion in the bathroom as well as not Many spots to hang used towels or bathing suits. Our main issue is that the shower head in the bathroom was broken the whole stay the water trickled out of the top shower head. We alerted the hotel staff who assured it would be fixed the second day of the trip but when we checked in they said they weren’t sure if it was fixed (it wasn’t). The water would go from hot to cold very dramatically without touching the handle. It was impossible to get a comfortable shower after being on the beach and in the heat all day you were either scorched or frozen. The small handheld nozzle did work. The room was clean and the AC worked great but did have a leak onto the floor under it. I just wish in the 2 nights we stayed we were able to get a nice shower. Other reviews of staff not being present are accurate they come in later in the day but are available via text but when they were there they were helpful. The hotel offered late check out as compensation but when we tried the key card after 11 (we were offered 2pm check out) the card did not work"

"The hotel was perfectly located for walking around all over Old San Juan. The place really has character, bringing out its historical setting while providing modern conveniences. The desk clerks were pleasant and helpful. Regrettably, like many facilities in recent years, daily housekeeping has been dropped, which is troubling in a place where toilet paper must be discarded in the wastebasket, rather than flushed. We left the placard on the doorknob, requesting maid service, but it had no effect. Regardless, the room was clean when we arrived."

"Excellent place to stay very close to all the shops and all the different tourist attractions although we are from the island originally, we currently live in the U.S. We were very pleased on how accommodating the service was, and how I aesthetic the view of the whole place was. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended."

"Good resort , on the beach. Convenient to snorkel from the hotel beach. The resort breakfast restaurant was under going renovations so they set the breakfast up in a makeshift meeting room. There is a Starbucks located within the building so regretted buying overpriced breakfast package. Parking is in the garage across the building, a little inconvenient. Valet parking is available though."

"If you like a small intimate hotel, rich in culture and tapestry you cannot go wrong here. Is beautiful, tasteful and has all of the amenities for your stay. As well as a four poster bed, lovely and warm shower there is a roof top with a hot tub that is lovely and hot, with sun beds too. It is so tasteful and exquisite you will be blown away. The staff clock off early, so you have to remember to have your access codes to get in the front door. The staff were very warm and welcoming to us.  There is a large dining room with an ice maker and microwave. You’ll love it, just like we did."

"Due to a change in plans, we did not use the room. They have a no-refund policy, that's what I know about Navona Studios."

"The location is great, located in the old town, only a 10-minute walk from the castle, and also close to the so-called ”Umbrella Street”, in short, it is convenient to go everywhere. The hotel itself is OK, and it also has a sense of history, but we only stayed for one night, and the overall feeling was good."

"La Terraza is a nice boutique hotel in old San Juan and located great. We had a balcony suite, and it was surprisingly clean and spacious. We had to ask for towels each day, but those at the desk were very kind about getting us what we needed. The pool looked like a large infinity in the picture, but really it was a tiny wading pool...the rooftop terrace was lovely and inviting for a midnight rendezvous. We wish the bar was open or the drink machine worked, and it would've been nice. The breakfast was delightful and homemade...and there was always coffee or tea available. I would definitely stay here again for its quaintness and location. We had a fine stay."

"This hotel is in a great location, conveniently located in the heart of the old town. The room is large and comfortable. The fly in the ointment is that the preparation of coffee and tea does not seem to be in place."
