"It was great that the front desk provided drinking water! Having a washing machine and dryer available was very convenient! There are many supermarkets and parks nearby, so you can definitely stay for a few extra days!"
"My stay at this hotel in Stockholm was delightful overall. The location is superb, offering easy access to public transportation, which saved a lot of time and effort when visiting city attractions. The hotel embodies a classic Nordic minimalist design, with elegant and tasteful interiors. The spaces are clean, airy, and meticulously maintained.
The room was bright and well-lit, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering city views. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful and quiet rest. The staff were polite, courteous, and provided professional and attentive service. Both check-in and check-out processes were efficient and seamless.
The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of options, catering to both local specialties and diverse tastes, with fresh and delicious ingredients. The hotel also clearly emphasizes eco-friendly practices, with thoughtful and natural design details throughout. Overall, the accommodation was highly comfortable, and the value for money was excellent. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel, and my stay was thoroughly satisfying."
"The hotel is newly opened, and the rooms are very nice and clean. They even have Bluetooth speakers, so you can relax and listen to music anytime. The double room is comfortable, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet. The breakfast is plentiful."
"Arrived in Stockholm during Nobel Week, and it was super convenient to get here by bus from the airport. The bus stop is just across a bridge from the hotel, easily walkable. The hotel's location is excellent, about a 3-minute walk from Stockholm Central Station. The room was generally very clean and well-maintained, but I had booked a windowless room, so travelers who prefer natural light should be aware. Overall, the stay met my expectations and was quite good."
"The hotel is well-managed and clean, and the breakfast is a decent, Western-style affair. Overall, it's a good experience. It's a five-minute walk from the subway station. The only downside is that the rooms are small and the soundproofing is poor."
"The staff is nice. Location is good. However I was a little disappointed on the first night that I wad given a twin-bed room while my booking is for king size bed. I was told on the first night, the rooms were fully booked, but I think courtyard should better manage its booking system. If no king size room is available, it should not sell it at the first place. If i know that only twin-bed room is available, I may have chosen another hotel. Luckily on the second night, I was provided by the reception desk a king-size bed room next door, easy for me to move and change."
"This is an excellent hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very well appointed with plenty of room and also very clean. The location is excellent with a metro station next to it just one stop from Central Station. We have stayed here on two occasions in the last week or so and were equally happy during both stays. The breakfast is out standing and was included in the price. Great value."
"## Amenities:
The amenities are typical European style. The tap water is supposedly drinkable, but it upset my stomach, so it really depends on individual sensitivity.
## Hygiene:
The commonly reported issue of a sewer smell did occur twice during my 5-night stay, but it wasn't severe. I didn't notice it inside the room, only when entering from outside. Since there was an external window, opening it quickly cleared the air, so I'd still recommend booking a room with an external window if your budget allows.
Additionally, the hotel claims they only clean rooms on the 4th day of your stay, but my room wasn't cleaned at all during my 6-day, 5-night stay. Double rooms come with four towels (two large, two small). If that's not enough, you can bring your own disposable towels. Thankfully, I saw reviews mentioning the towels weren't changed, so I brought disposable ones, and the lack of cleaning didn't bother me too much.
## Environment:
Overall, the hotel environment is quite good.
## Service:
Just like all Swedes, the staff are very warm and welcoming. The front desk staff are proactive in offering help and are very nice. If you have any issues, just approach them."
"Ganz tolles Hotel! Man fühlt sich rundum wohl und vorallem das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Außerdem ist ein Aufenthalt hier ein echtes Erlebnis - man fühlt sich wie im Museum und als Zeitzeuge des damaligen Gefängnisses. Wirklich spektakulär! Ich war schon 2x dort zu Gast und werde wiederkommen."

Great
OOcheapStayed at Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel and really enjoyed the experience.
Location wise, it’s superb — very convenient and close to everything in central Stockholm.
I chose the Premium Room and it was very spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the city.
The breakfast was also great, with many delicious food options and everything tasted really good. Definitely a hotel I would stay at again when visiting Stockholm.
LLalamiaoWell positioned, relatively modern hotel with everything you need. Windowless room however didn’t feel cramped or claustrophobic. Simple rooms with shared amenities downstairs. Note there is currently construction outside the hotel (did not hear any noise from the room but view potentially obstructed if you do have a window).
NNiumakeThe hotel is centrally located in Stockholm. It's about a 10-minute walk from Central Station after taking the Arlanda Express from the airport. The rooms are a bit small but functional, and the breakfast spread is decent. The common areas are quite comfortable. It's also a short walk to the T-Centralen metro station, making it convenient to experience Stockholm's famously well-designed subway system.
HHaoxianghaoxiangnvxiaThis hotel was very satisfying. Our windowless room was on the basement level, so we paid an extra 80 euros for three nights to upgrade to the seventh floor upon arrival. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the Central Station and 5 minutes from T-Centrum. The hotel has a clear outdoor theme with a strong design aesthetic, and some rooms feature unique designs. The hotel lobby boasts a spacious bar and restaurant area, which is very lively and almost completely full in the evenings. The room didn't have complimentary water or disposable toiletries, but there was a kettle.
GGuest UserThe location of hotel is easy to find. There is a wide selection for breakfast. Many nice affordable entries along the hotel. Metro is just around the corner 10 meters away. We love it.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is right next to Stockholm Central Station, making it super easy to get to the Old Town – just across the bridge. The room was incredibly spacious, and we even got a room with a view! The only slight downside was that breakfast wasn't as lavish as we'd hoped.
MMassab123I had a really enjoyable stay at Generator Stockholm. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the central station and many popular attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the check-in process was quick and easy.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hostel has a nice atmosphere, with great common areas to relax or meet other travelers. Everything was well organized, and I felt safe during my stay.
Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Stockholm. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserI had a fantastic stay at Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan right in the heart of Stockholm. The location was unbeatable — just steps away from great shopping streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Many attractions like Nybroviken, Strandvägen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from check‑in to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent.
The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt well‑organized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet — it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore.
The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit.
Overall, I would highly recommend Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan to anyone visiting Stockholm — especially if you want a stylish, centrally located hotel with great service and a welcoming atmosphere.
UUzura~my memory~Although it's far from the city center, it was conveniently located near a supermarket and bus stop. There was coffee and tea available in the common area, and cooking utensils were also provided, which was great. Personally, I liked that they offered free towel rentals. I'd love to stay here again when I visit Stockholm!! They also store luggage before and after check-in, but it's just left in the hallway like this, where lots of people pass by, and it's not visible from the reception, so I was a little scared that anyone could steal it (lol).
MMarinTRAVELIt was well managed and easy to spend.
Especially, the bed mat was comfortable and I slept after a long time.
The kitchen was also equipped with cooking equipment, which was wide and clean and easy to use.
I booked a shared room for men and women, but he told me that the day was only men, and paid an additional fee on the spot.
It is negative that I had to pay 1000 yen extra to rent bed linen.
Some top places to stay in Stockholm are near popular attractions like T-CENTRAL Station, Vasa Museum and The Royal Palace—so you can quickly get to top landmarks and amenities you need.
