I loved my stay at Pinnacle. The hotel is in a centralized location with the MRT very close by and great restaurants within walking distance. There's also a mall across the street.
The room was spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. There was construction around but the room had enough sound proofing so it wasn't a bother. The only thing the room was missing was a bum gun in the toilet.
The rooftop pool was perfect for sunning or sitting in the shade. I couldn't believe how cold the pool was! It was very refreshing in the afternoon. There is supposed to be a rooftop bar but it was gutted and no hope of it returning. It would have made my stay perfect.

This hotel is nicely situated from and near the crowded/popular places. If you love the crowd and night life you would be about 1.5km-3km away (maximum) depending on the direction you want to go. The good thing is, you’re never too far from anything, you can always jump on a bike and you will get to where you want in a jiffy. The room had a slight odor when I got there around 3am. I didn’t bother to inform them, I only left the door open for a while so that helps. The windows can’t be opened and I think that that contributed to the odor, nevertheless you can still see outside and get sun light. I didn’t take the breakfast option, however, that was not a negative as there are food places around that are opened from around 10am-12 midnight (not all of them though and even later too.) 7Eleven is right next door for convenience and there are lots of shops offering massages. The hotel staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are tidied everyday. On the Chinese new year, they had a dragon dance performance. I’m sure the Chinese guest appreciated it. I didn’t take any pictures of the rooms, but what I’ve seen from other guests that stayed at the hotel, is exactly what you too will see and experience.

This is a youth hostel, and we were traveling with our parents. Although there wasn't a kettle in the room, there's one on the first floor where you can get hot water for free. There's also a security gate on each floor, which makes it very safe – people who aren't staying here can't go up. There's no elevator, but the staff were really enthusiastic and helped us carry our luggage upstairs, which we really appreciated! The family room had an inner window, so ventilation wasn't great, but it was nice and quiet. The overall decor is very new and the style is simple. The common areas are quite well-equipped, with a kitchen, laundry room, dining area, tea tables and chairs, and computers. The front desk offers 24-hour service. There's a 400 deposit, which the staff returns after checking the room at checkout.

This is an older, well-established hotel. It's surrounded by roads, so there was some traffic noise throughout the night, which wasn't great for my light sleep. The swimming pool inside is quite small, and the decor is also a bit old-fashioned. However, overall, the value for money is decent. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby, including many small restaurants. I visited close to the New Year, and the festive atmosphere was lovely.

This was my second stay, and once again, the room was spacious enough and came with a bathtub, fridge, and a balcony. There's a 7-Eleven, restaurants, and fruit stalls all within a three-minute walk. It was really quiet at night, and getting a taxi was super easy – they'd pick us up almost instantly. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Bangkok.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and polite, but unfortunately, everything else was a bad experience.
On the first day, I was assigned room 706. The bed was extremely soft and felt like the springs had collapsed. When I informed the staff, I was told there were no other rooms available.
On the second day, a different staff member kindly helped to change my room to 307. However, it was located right next to the staircase, and there was a strong sewage smell as soon as I opened the door. It was very unpleasant.
On the fourth day, after housekeeping cleaned the room, they left the window open and didn’t close it. As a result, I was bitten by mosquitoes during the night, and even worse, I experienced what seemed like bed bug bites. My whole body became very itchy with multiple bites.
Although the hotel is conveniently located near the BTS, the overall condition is old and outdated, and cleanliness is not up to standard.
Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay. I would not recommend it.

The hotel is quite good and clean. The only downside is that there's no elevator, so if you don't have too much luggage, I'd recommend staying here. There's a 500 baht deposit required upon check-in, which is refunded after check-out, so make sure to have it ready beforehand.

Bangkok was the last stop on our trip to Thailand and we booked this hotel as a treat to end our trip given it's 5 star status. We were left very disappointed...
The lobby is lovely and is indicative of a high end hotel but that's where it ended unfortunately. The rooms are 3 star at best. We had booked a room with a balcony specifically but the initial room we were given didn't have one. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room with a balcony, however the balcony was surrounded by fans so we had limited views. We were offered another room on our second day with a better balcony but the room itself was smaller so we opted to stay where we were. From what we could see, none of the balconies are great so I would avoid paying the extra for rooms with them.
The pool is cold and in need of some work, the grout is coming away in many areas creating sharp edges in spots. Also not 5 star quality.
Breakfast was the nicest setup and offering we had seen in Thailand.

The hotel's biggest selling point is probably its convenient location, making shopping, dining, and getting around easy. However, the facilities and decor are noticeably outdated. I was hesitant to even use the toiletries in the bathroom, and the slippers were as thin as paper. As for cleanliness, the stains in the corners and edges were an absolute nightmare for my OCD.
The most frustrating part was that I booked for four nights. I checked in late on the first night, so I couldn't do anything then. The next day, I tried to check out, but Trip.com said the agent would charge me for an extra night no matter what. The problem is, when I booked, this room was eligible for free cancellation until 6 PM on the check-in day.
Trip.com made several international calls to me, and after a lot of back and forth, they only agreed to refund half a night's stay. I still had to pay for an extra half night to check out. I couldn't deal with the international call charges anymore, so I had to give up. It was a terrible experience.

1. **Guest Rooms:** Recently renovated by Tony Chi, the rooms are elegant and comfortable with high-quality linens and excellent soundproofing. Some entry-level room sizes are a bit compact for a city-center hotel. Welcome fruits and well-stocked toiletries are provided.
2. **Dining:** Breakfast offers a good variety (Thai + Western). Erawan Tea Room is a Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant, and the Executive Lounge service is consistently good. Some restaurant prices are on the higher side.

GGuest UserYou won't find a better value hotel in Bangkok. It's really close to the pier, and you can get to central Asok in just 20 minutes by boat. The hotel is brand new, the gym is well-equipped, and the infinity pool is quite large and absolutely stunning – it uses filtered seawater. Breakfast is also very good. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis is the most complete hostel I've ever been to. There are six floors with several balconies and all of it remains spotless. The common areas are awesome. The river view is amazing I look forward to seeing the fireworks on the river every time. The staff are friendly and accomodating and there are more than enough bathrooms and showers for everybody here. I don't have anything to complain about, I like it a lot here

AAlexTannThis hotel was the last stop on our trip to Thailand. Compared to The Nai Harn, it felt grander and more business-oriented, which was evident from the breakfast spread – definitely geared more towards business travelers. We stayed on the executive floor, though it wasn't an executive room itself... which I found a bit odd. The hotel's decor has a retro, old-fashioned vibe, making it feel less like a holiday retreat for me personally. However, these weren't major issues. The staff's service attitude was consistently excellent. The main pool was quite busy, possibly because two youth football teams were staying there, so there were lots of people playing and having fun. It was still a good experience overall.

GGuest UserI booked a river view room, and the view was absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic sight of the Chao Phraya River's nightscape. The room was clean and tidied daily. Breakfast was a generous spread. Walking out and turning right, it's about a 5-minute stroll to Asiatique The Riverfront. From 10 AM to 8 PM, there's a boat service every hour from the hotel to the Central Pier. From there, you can take another boat for 10 Baht per person directly to ICONSIAM on the opposite bank. For 600 baht a night including breakfast, the value for money is really good.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better.
Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room.
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

There's also a connected walkway from the second floor of the adjacent EmSphere mall, so you don't have to walk in the sun. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of food, entertainment, supermarkets, convenience stores, massage places, and malls – very convenient. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to Asok station and Terminal 21. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities and decor are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly.

The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation.
The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are.
A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened.
There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only.
The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable.
There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened.
The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone.
The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove.
Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling.

В номере была заявлена плита, но фактически она отсутствовала — была закрыта и зафиксирована деревянной панелью, воспользоваться ею невозможно.
В номере нет чая и кофе, несмотря на то, что на фотографиях присутствует кофемашина. Чай можно взять на ресепшене в дневное время.
Кондиционер шумный, работает без переносного пульта, управление осуществляется с настенного блока с ограниченным количеством режимов. Даже на минимальном режиме шум заметный.
В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери.
Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно.
Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты.
Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку.

Удобное расположение рядом с M-Sphere, Emporium и M-кварталом, что было основной причиной выбора отеля.

Подходит для краткой остановки на одну ночь.
Основной минус — сильно устаревшие номера и несоответствие фотографиям.

AAnonymous UserI stayed here for four nights. Many reviews mentioned the hotel's remote and inconvenient location. It's true that it's nestled in a quiet alley within a wealthy Sukhumvit neighborhood, so the location itself isn't an issue, and it's suitable for longer stays. It's quite far from tourist attractions, and the alleys in Sukhumvit are winding and don't connect well, which can be troublesome if you're walking. However, I always took taxis, so it was fine. It's a bit of a distance from 7-Eleven. The environment and facilities are definitely up to four-star standards. The security guard was very proactive and responsible. My two points of confusion were: first, upon check-out, the front desk insisted I wait for them to inspect the room before leaving, even though I had already paid a deposit. Second, after the room was cleaned, the hand towels and floor towels were removed, and only one regular towel was left. I don't understand this practice, and in the subsequent days, fewer and fewer towels were left after cleaning.

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated almost the end of silom but close to Hindu temple for me to visit and more convenient for me to worship almost everyday when I get bored or when I have Sth in my mind . The breakfast is the same old same old and no matter time fly so is the same but u need to rotating the hot breakfast menu and too minimise a food cost and food waste after service. The room was great ! And thanks for an upgrade with the tup and made me to relax after the humid and hot day or after window shopping. The room is clean and housekeeping are friendly and ask for the service . Staff are friendly for checking in and I feel bad when staff complain and u under the pressure and have to get police involve and I want to step up and help u to rectify a problem but I am off duty as I am on a short vocation so next time and don’t be afraid and stay tough with this people cause they complain too much but always pay less and expect more or not enough ( tell them ) or ask them to go to neighbour hood hotel instead or try to negotiate with them and catering the best u can by not getting affect by room revenue . I hope to see u again in the future maybe in other excutive room with a bath tub and view but u all need to refurbish some room or the best type of room to upgrade or selling to a guest and increase room revenue incremental .
