"The hotel room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The comfortable bed with soft pillows ensured a restful night's sleep. Large windows provided plenty of natural light and a lovely view, making the room feel bright and inviting. Modern amenities, including fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a smart TV, and complimentary bottled water, added convenience throughout the stay. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped with quality toiletries and hot water. Housekeeping maintained excellent cleanliness every day. Overall, the room offered outstanding comfort, excellent value for money, and a pleasant experience that exceeded expectations."

"The hotel’s location is quite good, with many restaurants nearby and convenient access to key areas of the city. However, the condition of the room was rather poor and felt old. The curtains were damaged and couldn’t close properly, allowing light to enter. The sink had not been cleaned thoroughly, and there was a used bar of soap with hair stuck to it left in the shower. There were also strands of hair from previous guests found in the bathroom."

"The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel service was excellent. I took a two-day yoga class which was taught exceptionally well, and the hotel's massage service was top-notch 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. This trip was very relaxing for both my body and mind, and I will definitely come again next time 😎. The only slight drawback was that the room was a bit humid, but there was a dehumidifier, so it was acceptable. The hotel restaurant food was also great, the coffee was good, and they even offered welcome drinks!"

"Pros -free teatime meak (fruits) -only once per room no matter how long you stayed. -free shutter to airport ( we stayed 5 nights so the hotel provided a free shutter to airport). - Night market next to the hotel ( Anusarn Market) - Nice room deco and receptions -Include breakfast for room booking - motorbike rental nearby Cont -No sound proof ( can hear clearly what next room was talking) if you dont mind then okay to stay Add on: 1. accident happened to our room, air con water leakage ( heavy leakage ) after told reception then they repaired it immediately 2. Flood in our room when raining ( water goes inside room and caused to floor wet and wet alot)"

"Just checked out of Maladee Rendezvous Hotel Chiang Mai after a 2-day, 1-night stay, and I’m quickly jotting down my thoughts while the memories are still fresh. To sum it up: the service was so good it almost felt a little overwhelming, details fanatics will go wild, but there were a few minor flaws. 🤝 Service is absolutely top-notch From the moment we stepped in, staff members rushed out with smiles to help with our luggage, saying it felt like visiting a friend's house – that's how warm and welcoming they were. During check-in, we sat on a sofa and enjoyed pandan iced tea, and a lovely lady who spoke Chinese gave us a tour of the entire hotel, explaining each facility in great detail. The next day, my mom couldn't figure out the bathroom faucet, and someone from the front desk came up to show her within 3 minutes – excellent attitude. 🛏️ Room is spacious, but the AC is a bit weak The room was indeed very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the pool, which my mom loved. However, my dad said that even with the AC on full blast, it was only slightly cool, and he felt a bit stuffy in the middle of the night, needing to turn on the fan to feel comfortable. Also, the TV was noticeably old, and the picture quality wasn't high-definition. But the mattress and pillows were very comfortable; my mom said she slept soundly through the night. 🍳 Breakfast remains a highlight They raved about the breakfast, which was cooked to order. We ordered mango sticky rice and Thai fish ball noodles, and they were so delicious we wanted to have more. The fruits at the buffet were also very fresh. Plus, there was complimentary afternoon tea, and my mom said the cheesecake was better than many coffee shops outside. 🏊 Pool is beautiful, but not much time to use it The pool area was gorgeous, but they said it was too sunny in the morning, and in the afternoon, they were out sightseeing. In the end, they only dipped into the warm pool briefly. They didn't visit the gym because it was too small, with only a few machines. 📍 Location issue They also mentioned that the hotel isn't close to the city center. Every time they wanted to go to Nimman Road, they had to take a Grab, which cost about 200 baht. However, the hotel offered a free shuttle to the Old City, but it required coordinating schedules. 💬 Conclusion Overall, my mom was satisfied with the service and environment, but the AC and TV were the two hardware aspects that gave her pause. If the hotel were to replace the old TV and improve the AC, she said she would definitely stay again next time. But as it stands, she would advise those with high AC requirements to inquire about the room type beforehand, otherwise, sleeping at night might be a bit uncomfortable. This review was written on behalf of others; these are genuine user opinions, absolutely no paid advertisements 😂."

"Honestly, the bathroom in the basic room type was quite small, and the water quality was just average; my shower head turned a bit yellow. Overall, the room hygiene was good, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Upon check-in, we received drink vouchers that could be used at the lounge on the first floor, but the selection was quite limited. The breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular, but it had all the essentials. The hotel's location is very convenient. Just a short walk through the alley next to it leads to the Chang Klan Night Bazaar, and it's not far from the Michelin-starred restaurant Ekachan. We stayed here for two nights, and then moved to the Old City for the remaining two nights. Due to time constraints, we didn't get to visit the rooftop bar, but I heard it's quite good. The hotel attracts a lot of European and American tour groups; every time we returned, we'd see tour buses coming and going. However, luckily, we didn't hear much noise in our room this time."

"Arriving at InterContinental Chiang Mai felt like stepping into a completely different world — and it was the perfect change of environment. From the moment we arrived, there was an unmistakable sense of calm, elegance and understated luxury. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending Chiang Mai’s heritage with the kind of refined hospitality you would expect from a global luxury brand. InterContinental is, after all, no stranger to luxury. The attention to detail, ambience, service and overall experience remind you why the brand has such a strong reputation around the world. Nothing feels excessive or showy — just effortlessly polished. After a day of exploring Chiang Mai, returning to the hotel feels like having your own retreat within the city. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable spaces and that feeling that everything has been thoughtfully taken care of. If you’re looking for a stay in Chiang Mai that feels luxurious while still embracing the character of the destination, InterContinental is an easy recommendation. A beautiful hotel, a refreshing change of pace, and exactly the kind of luxury experience you hope for when travelling."

"We stayed in the River View Deluxe Balcony room and had a wonderful stay. The room felt spacious, beautifully maintained and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality. Every staff member was friendly, attentive and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Housekeeping also kept everything immaculate throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a lovely à la carte selection and the option to enjoy it either in the restaurant or from the comfort of the room. The location strikes a great balance, peaceful and relaxed along the riverside, yet still within easy walking distance of the markets across the bridge. I had a wonderful stay at Sala Lanna!"

AAnonymous UserOverall, the property has a pleasant concept, and the surrounding greenery creates a very nice jungle‑resort, exotic atmosphere. The natural environment is well‑designed and enjoyable but my 2 nights stay came with several issues that future guests may want to be aware of. Considering the price, there are much better options in the area that offer a more comfortable experience and better facilities. 1. Privacy & Layout The architectural layout offers very limited privacy. From the balcony, neighboring rooms are directly visible, which made it difficult to use the outdoor space comfortably. 2. Cleanliness & Hygiene Some areas of the room were not thoroughly cleaned. The built‑in storage under the bed had visible dust and dirt, making it unsuitable for storing clean clothes. In the shower area, the pebble‑style floor creates many hard‑to‑clean corners. Before I even used the shower, I noticed hair and even ***** hair trapped between the stones. During showering, water drained extremely slowly, causing the floor to flood and submerge above my feet under standing water. This design makes the area prone to bacteria buildup and was uncomfortable to use, especially for female guests during sensitive times. 3. Bathroom Fixtures The handheld bidet spray had extremely strong pressure and ice‑cold water, which made it uncomfortable to use—especially for women during sensitive days. 4. Safety & Property Layout The property’s terrain is quite complex, with multiple staircases and uneven levels. At night, many areas are poorly lit, which can be unsafe if guests are not watching their step. Some decorative reflective pieces hanging from trees also create a rather unsettling atmosphere after dark. The corridor near my room remained unlit at night, making the area feel dim and uncomfortable. Additionally, during rainy weather, several outdoor areas accumulated water, making certain paths slippery and less safe to walk through. 5. Room FacilitiesvThe room does not have a wardrobe or proper clothing hangers. The only hanging option is a decorative tree‑branch style rack, which is suitable for small items but not for clothing. As a result, clothes can only be placed on the balcony, where humidity and rain make it difficult to keep them dry.vThere is also no bedside lamp or reading light, which makes the room not work‑friendly.vAdditionally, there is no luggage rack or storage space, so suitcases must be kept on the floor throughout the stay. 6. Condition of FacilitiesvMany parts of the property appear worn down and in need of maintenance. In the dining area, several corners and edges show visible deterioration, and I noticed areas with water leakage. Overall, the facilities feel quite aged and could benefit from repairs and updates. 7. Service & CommunicationvThere is no phone in the room, and front desk service ends around 10 PM. Even after I added the property’s contact information, my door was still knocked on at night despite having a “Do Not Disturb” sign displayed. Complimentary water was provided, but only when requested; it was not proactively replenished. 8. Deposit & BreakfastvThe property requires a cash deposit upon arrival, which feels unusual considering the age and condition of the facilities. Breakfast was provided, but the quality was noticeably lower compared to other homestays in the area. 9. Additional Safety ConcernsvI found a sharp, hard plastic piece in a dish I ordered. I pulled it out from my mouth, and I almost swallowed it. The meal was remade, but the original dish was not waived.vThe bathroom door lock also malfunctioned once. There were also quite a few jumping spiders in the room due to the environment, likely because regular insect control is not performed. I requested insect spray from the front desk, and they did respond quickly and helped resolve it.

GGiselle LuI extended my stay for two more days after the first night, and I'm extremely satisfied! Besides the excellent facilities and environment (honestly, for this price and quality, it's incredible value for money), the hotel also helps with SPA bookings and offers free airport transfers. The service is truly thoughtful. I slept wonderfully. The breakfast is delicious, and the daily in-room snacks are a special touch (they're different every day). If you want a comfortable, quiet stay in Chiang Mai, this place is definitely worth it.

GGuest UserThis hotel was lovely. Shame we only stayed one night. It was in a great location near all the markets, the hotel had a pool table, outdoor swimming pool and a foosball table. Great facilities for children. We were pleasantly surprised to have a huge interconnecting room. The two rooms were split with a dining room/kitchen and there were two bathrooms. The only downside to this was the breakfast, we went when it had just opened at 6.30am and the all the food were only lukewarm.

AAnonymous UserLove the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Staff are great at their prompt service with friendly manners. The breakfast is excellent compared to the same level of hotel. The rooftop bar is cozy and good for small group sipping. The most important for me is the room., great space & cozying with super convenient. The lobby is also serve snack & drinks at all time. The location is perfect for those who love street shopping, near One Nimman mall & MAYA.

คนนั้นไง คนที่ชอบเที่ยวI really enjoyed my stay at Away Chiang Mai Thapae Resort - A Vegan Retreat. The biggest highlight is its excellent location, very close to Tha Phae Gate and other major attractions. It's super convenient for exploring the Old City and the walking street market. Getting around is easy; Grab rides are affordable. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes around the hotel. The hotel's atmosphere is quiet, private, and feels very safe. Although the entrance is a bit deep into an alley, it actually contributes to a restful stay, free from outside disturbances. The hotel itself is clean, lush, and has green spaces that make for a relaxing experience throughout your visit. Overall, it's a place in Chiang Mai I'd love to return to. It's perfect for those who want to explore the Old City and also for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city.

XXunyicao0513The room was spotless, so clean that you could walk barefoot on the floor. It's super close to Maya Mall, about 700 meters in a straight line. Right across the street, there's a Muay Thai gym where kids can even try it out. There's also a great restaurant just a 50-meter walk to the left of the hotel, with really good food. And the swimming pool is perfect for taking pictures!

Surprisingly the dish was so delicious, one of good Khao Soi bowls I had. All details in the hotel are so well-curated. A location is good, nearby Wat U-mong which is nice to visit by walking. TTwoRainbows_TravelProThe facilities at the Holiday Garden Hotel Resort are absolutely Fabulous. Stunning architecture make for a premium experience during my stay. What’s best is the garden poolside deck. The atmosphere is open and fresh. I enjoy sitting by the pool after having breakfast. It’s elegant. The room is comfortable. It’s very clean which is reassuring, since the staff are caring for their guests. I would recommend this garden resort to international travelers who prefer green spaces and elegant design. The breakfast buffet has fresh fruits and coconut-rice pancakes. It’s all so tasty. There is also the Lush café in the garden. The strawberry soda is my favorite. 😍 🍓 I would stay again. Chiang Mai is a lovely city.
