"Absolutely miserable and rude receptionist when we arrived. Told I had to park for parking which I didn’t know about then grunted and waved to a machine across the hall. After I paid she told me there was a discount code. Then said it was too late to use it and she couldn’t help me. Awful service. The shower was filthy and cracked. The hotel weren’t interested and the receptionist then lied and said she tried to help me! Do they really think I would willingly pay more if I knew I had a discount. Couldn’t even have a shower and got a cleaning fee refund from trip. Will not be back. Awful place. The breakfast staff were lovely this morning, the night receptionist clearly hates her job."

"The bed was too short, I could barely stretch out, and it was quite narrow with a very low headboard, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The street outside was also very noisy. For checkout, I had to bring the bed linen down myself. The separate shower/toilet room was tiny; I've stayed in small places before, but this one was so cramped I couldn't even turn around."

"This hostel is situated in a really great location if you want to use Cheshunt station as it’s a very short walk. It’s also situated in lovely surroundings and has free parking (altho the car park gets very busy). It is pretty cheap but the rooms are very basic. Beds aren’t especially comfortable and you’ll need to bring your own towels and shower stuff. The walls/doors are also pretty thin and so as people pass through the communal kitchen you get a fair bit of noise in the morning. Overall it’s not a bad option and you’ll very much get what you pay for."

"Had an amazing although it was very hot due to no aircon but not the staffs fault! They provided us with fans to keep us cool. All staff were lovely, ate dinner and breakfast and the food was delicious. Michael, Karolina and Carmel are a great asset to the team."
