I’ve lived and travelled through China for 6 years now, and this is probably one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Location is in a nice part of the Ancient City, but still close enough to one of the entrances for easy access to the rest of Lijiang. If you’re using Lijiang as a jumping-off point for Yunnan’s other incredible sights and activities, this makes it super convenient. The room was absolutely beautiful with a window right next to the river for a peaceful atmosphere. Although the area is called the “Ancient City,” the room was very modern and beautifully designed. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were kind enough to offer more I was extra hungry.
The hosts are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met while traveling solo. They’ll offer you some tea and a chat, and I highly recommend taking them up on their offer! You’ll learn a lot from them, find the best local recommendations, and get to sample some of Yunnan’s famous tea. They never steered me wrong once, and thanks to them, I was able to have a truly relaxing but fulfilling time in Lijiang.

I had a very comfortable rest during my 3 nights and 4 days in Lijiang. Thank you so much for booking all the itineraries related to the trip and taking great care of it for us, who are not good at Chinese.
