Great rooms. Large, clean & comfortable. Slept very well. I love the outdoor drinks / snacks area. The Jamon belotta platter is one of the best I’ve had and coupled with a glass of Ribeira del Duero red is the perfect way to wind down after a long drive. The staff are super friendly. Breakfast is fine, nothing out of the ordinary. I look forward to my next visit

An unexpected gem in an area that is not well known and provides a different option to the Costas. The hotel had an historic feel with plenty of antique furniture in the common areas. Whilst we did not eat in the restaurant, the food and drinks in the cafeteria was good and the service excellent.

Firstly, good spacious room, kind, helpful, professional and efficient staff, and very attractive room rate. Decor and furnishings are, of course either traditional or old fashioned, but if you see it as the latter, you would not stay in a Parador. Some frustrations: despite warm, sunny weather, neither bar nor restaurant had any tables outside (all stacked against the walls in full view). Swimming pool not only closed but green (note that we are currently staying in a 2* hotel with a clean, open pool). We do sometimes wonder whether the national Parador management feels that they have a good product which appeals to a certain clientele, and has no need to to consider changes? The hotel kindly upgraded us to a room with balcony for our second night, which we appreciated.

A comfy and quiet night’s sleep in a more traditional Parador, on the outskirts of Albacete. Very typical Parador facilities, and rooms. Staff members at reception and in the bar/cafe were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the smaller dishes we selected in the bar area. We did not know Atascaburras as a local dish, but do now! The garlic soup was simply delicious. Good parking and convenient for the motorway.
