Very good, hotel facilities are also good, but the card is always failed to swipe, running up and down many times and then reprogram the card for about three times before successfully swipe the door

The hotel is next to the railway. My first night stay was in a room with a railway view. I was woken up by the trains around 4 am. The staff was nice and moved me to a room on the other side. However, on the fifth (?) day of my stay, I noticed that the tap water was not clean. I showed the photos of the water (attached) and provided the glass of water (in the photo) to the staff in the morning. The same day evening, I asked about the problem and was told to wait for the manager in the morning. Amelia, the manager, was friendly. She said that the water was normal. She drank the water form the tap as a proof that the water was safe. And she provided me a new kettle.

Came for Mother’s Day weekend with my mum and stayed for 3 nights from Friday 28th. Enoch & Anirudh spent the entire Friday night serving us with nothing but smiles (and vodka :)) as well as Sunday and we had the best time. They are fantastic at what they do, they welcomed us and made us feel comfortable in our surroundings by being friendly and hospitable. They went above and beyond and we will be staying again - thank you guys :))))

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Everything you would want from a travelodge. The hotel is next to the train line (which I knew In advance)… yes you could hear it but it wasn’t too loud that you couldn’t sleep. Really central location and walking distance to Tower of London. Didnt use the bar but it looked nice. There is no air conditioning but they had a fan running when we went into the room and offered to put another fan in the room if needed.

Trains pass right outside the hotel until 1am, and again starting at 6 am - there is no AC, so the rooms are incredibly hot and stuffy, and windows barely open so no air can come in plus the noise - it was a terrible nights sleep. Room was clean but old and not particularly nice

I had a wonderful experience at Travelodge Aldgate East! The reception staff, especially Laya, was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and kind. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth during check-in. The manager was also very professional and attentive, ensuring we felt comfortable and looked after throughout our stay. Thank you both for making our visit so pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again!

Clean room, very comfortable bed although could do with air conditioning at this time of the year. Maya on the check out desk was very friendly.

The people at this hotel are wonderful, especially Laya who was very helpful in finding me a great Indian Restaurant and making sure that I felt at home. The room is very comfortable with loads of towels and soap and drinks. I slept like a baby and woke feeling refreshed. Considering that the price is very reasonable, I would highly recommend that you give this hotel a try. Enjoy!

The hotel is in need of a serious up grade, there is no air con so it was stifling hot. There is a train line behind it so significant noise. The shower was shocking and the bathroom whilst clean was very shabby .the bed linen was clean but there was no chambermaid service. The only nice thing about it was the staff who were friendly and polite - I will not be back

The hotel was incredibly hot as there was no air conditioning in my room. The TV didn't work because there was no aerial. Very noisy next to the tube line. And there was a guy asleep in the corridor when I left my room in the morning.

Really poor experience. The rooms are dated and stuffy, feeling more like low budget student accommodation than a 3 star hotel that I paid around £120 to stay in. The panelling in the bathroom is patched together and peeling away. Plugs are sparse and badly positioned. I was here in July, when it was incredibly hot. The windows barely open and my room was unbearably hot. The windows also opened directly towards a major trainline so I had no chance of sleeping due to the noise and the heat.

I had a good experience during my stay. Receptionist Anirudh was very kind and helpful throughout. Everything else was good – clean rooms, comfortable stay, and nice service. Just a bit of noise from the nearby train and water pressure could be better, but overall, it was a pleasant experience.
