All other albergues fully booked, so nothing left but Casa Alberdi. Awoken at 01:20 by fellow Camino Frances traveller, that they had been bitten during the night. Close inspection of several of the bunks, revealed live bed bugs, so we all moved out of the bunk room, into the kitchen. Not good.

No one there to check me in at check in time so I called after 30 minutes of waiting.. the lady showed me a room that had an adjoining shared bathroom but had no door to the bedroom so anyone could wander in! Then eventually took me to a more suitable room.. when I asked if my Camino buddy could use one bed (there were 3)! She requested an extra €50!!! The room cost me €48 so we declined!! Decor was very tired and shabby but better than some of the municipal albergues..

A shameful hostel, it should be monitored by the authorities and closed to the public, bugs on the floor, dirty sheets, a lack of respect for the pilgrim, in general a lot of dirt, and the price is expensive because I booked it for 45e and they charged us 60.

I stayed there overnight on September 26th. Excellent albergue, clean and welcoming. Hospitalera friendly and kind. Blankets available for the night. Two hundred meters from the city center, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Possible to have breakfast on site.

Super ignorant with no respect for pilgrims, 0 hospitality, profiteering and without a price list ... I still have so much to add but I'll stop here .... I only add one thing ... avoid this place it does not deserve our money

Appalling. It should not even be advertised on an official page for pilgrims as I have seen, it is a lack of respect for the pilgrim and for the rest of the hostels that do offer quality and very hospitable service. Health should visit him.

A dirty, old hostel, the room had not been cleaned in a long time, the lady charged me and I never saw her again, quality for the price, a shame, I would not recommend it to anyone. The worst of the whole journey without a doubt.
