The best service we have had in a long time. All the staff couldn’t do enough and were all very attentive. We had 14 people for afternoon tea to celebrate a baby shower. Elena was great helping with the organising of the day. Would highly recommend and a big Thank you to everyone involved and helped on the day.

Went to Nineteen for a family birthday lunch. Lovely place. Friendly staff. Food was great, between us we had superfood salad, club sandwich, 3 small plates, fries and houmous. All came out together and was really tasty, well presented and plentiful portions. Only slight downside was constantly having to try to get staff attention if wanted to order drinks etc (as cannot order at the bar). But staff were helpful and friendly when they did come over. Would recommend for a leisurely lunch.

We recently stayed at Foxhills for one night with two other couples. Our experience had a mix of highs and lows, making for an overall memorable stay, though with some reservations. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the stunning grounds and the charming building. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, setting a positive tone for our stay. The bar area was fantastic, offering great service and a cozy a**osphere perfect for unwinding. Our dining experience was another highlight: the food was brilliant, the a**osphere delightful, and the decor stylish. However, despite the commendable efforts of the staff, it was clear they were slightly understaffed, which affected the overall service. We took advantage of the hotel's amenities, enjoying a round of golf on the fantastic Bernard Hunt course and indulging in the brilliant spa facilities. Both were well-maintained and contributed significantly to the pleasure of our stay. Unfortunately, the rooms were a significant letdown. They are very tired and lacked essential comforts. The lack of air conditioning made the rooms hot and uncomfortable, even though it wasn't a particularly warm evening. The beds were far from satisfactory, they were far off sleeping on a camp bed, the pillows were something of a hotel that charges £40 per night. The bathroom facilities were also dated, with a constantly running loo adding to the frustration. At £315 for an executive double, the value for money was severely lacking!! During checkout, when asked about our stay, I shared our severe disappoin**ent regarding the rooms. The staff mentioned that the feedback would be passed on to housekeeping and that room upgrades are planned. Which did very little to mitigate our immediate dissatisfaction. In conclusion, while the country club aspect of the hotel is superb and clearly caters well to its members, the hotel rooms themselves are not up to standard and are not worth the hefty price tag (£315 for an executive double). All three couples in our group shared this sentiment. We sincerely hope that the rooms are updated soon to match the rest of the hotel's high standards.

I would love to give five stars but I remember when it used to be a solid five stars. I think the rooms are tired and the place is short staffed. We had problems with nobody in reception, clubhouse bar service and were quite rudely reminded that the checkout time is 11am, I thought is was 12pm but with nobody at reception we couldn’t confirm. We wanted to enquire about membership but the sign on their door said they were out which explained why they didn’t pick up the phone for the whole day. The fine dining restaurant is good and most of the staff are great when you meet them. , Foxhills is all about the golf (which is fantastic.)

Excellent hotel in Surrey selected for its proximity to Ascot Racecourse. Upgraded to a Junior Suite - very nice. Food good, room clean, very comfortable bed, room very quiet. Excellent location to Windsor, Ascot etc. Staff were excellent, very friendly and could not do enough. Special mention to Ursula, extremely pleasant & helpful. Walking trails were lovely, did not use all the sports/spa/golf facilities, but they looked excellent. Will visit again to play golf and use the facilities on our next visit.

Lovely place. Invited here for a friends 60th birthday celebration. Excellent service every where in reception, bar, swimming complex, restaurant and concierge. Very enjoyable weekend with friends. Would definitely visit again. Thank you!

I was really looking forward to afternoon tea to celebrate my friend's birthday. Having visited before for afternoon tea several times I had high expectations. This time we were taken to a tiny table in the bar area. I assume we were not in the main dining area where I have been before, since not many people were taking tea today. We requested one vegetarian and one regular tea. The waitress repeated one vegan and one regular - we said no, not vegan, vegetarian please. The food arrived and the waitress told us what the sandwiches were - the vegetarian fillings sounded suspiciously like vegan so I queried and she said no definitely vegetarian. Once she had left us I noticed that my tea had no cream for the scones - also my cakes were different to my friend's which wouldn't be necessary if vegetarian. I knew then it was definitely vegan. I then had to go to the bar to complain - no waiting staff around. They did apologise and replaced my afternoon tea stand. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful but they weren't around enough. The food was fine but really disappointing not to be in the dining/lounge area which is so much nicer. Where we were sitting there was one other table of 4 people having tea and another table of people having a work meeting. Just didn't have the right a**osphere for our celebration tea. And we felt very squashed in with the tiny table. I feel really sad that the celebration for my friend's birthday wasn't the special treat expected

We had the delightful experience of spending a night at the picturesque Foxhills country club in Surrey. We had access to the expansive grounds and luxurious spa facilities, which include three golf courses, a spa, five swimming pools, and three restaurants, all set amidst stunning surroundings. It's an ideal destination for a quick overnight retreat. making it an excellent choice for events such as hen dos, weddings, and special occasions. The pool was lovely and would love to go back when it’s warmer for a staycation and use the pool

Excellent hotel, lots of activities. Rooms are very clean and well presented. On the whole the staff are very friendly and professional, everyone smiles and gives a warm welcome. The pavilion receptionist was very nice and made us feel welcome. Ursala the housekeeper was brilliant and very helpful! We had a great stay!
