Great if you just want somewhere to sleep after a day sightseeing. The room we had was small as was the en suite but that was fine. It was very clean and comfortable. There are no other facilities (we asked for a kettle one night but they didn’t have one). It does have air conditioning which is great. The hostal is on the second floor of a lovely old building and there is a lift. It’s in a great location, really close to a metro stop but we walked everywhere we wanted to go. There are some lovely cafes, bars and restaurants in the local area. There was some noise from outside as expected being in the city and our room was close to reception so you could hear that too. It’s a budget hostal and exactly what you’d expect. But the staff are really lovely and we had a great stay.

The room is not more then a small closet without a window. The closet wasn’t even numbered, like all other rooms. Don’t stay if you like to have fresh air and see the light from outside; stay here if you wanted to be stored like a stupid thing in a closet.

I've known the hostel for years (before there was an elevator) and I met the former owners. It seems that the hostel has changed hands. Although the receptionist's attention is unbeatable (bravo for Auri), what is unforgivable is the room they gave me. In other times it was the broom store, where there was a small refrigerator and an ironing board. The new owners have not even been careful to remove the PRIVATE sign. The bathroom, obviously, was outside and had to be shared. The excuse they gave me? That it is only a "room" of passage for people who stay one or two days. Notice to new owners: be careful to invent**** a number and remove the PRIVATE one. The room where the suitcases are stored is larger than the one I received.

Very small room as well as the bed. Basic comfort, worthy of a student room. Very noisy, zero soundproofing..! You can hear everything in the hallway and neighboring rooms. Too expensive for what it is. Go your way if you want to sleep well and are looking for a little comfort

The truth is that we stayed there for 2 nights and it was wonderful! The unbeatable location, on foot from everything, the quiet and very clean room, the incredible friendly and efficient staff. Very good quality and price! We repeat without a doubt, they make us feel at home!

I stayed last December and the location was perfect. The room, although small, is very good and the bed is very comfortable. Perfect cleanliness and excellent reception staff. I would definitely stay at the Salomé hostel again!

The receptionists are very friendly! The location is phenomenal, everything is close, Calle del Pez is very well articulated, the metro stations are close, then the wonderful Gran Vía with all its glamour!

A very central hostel, near the Noviciado metro stop and the Malasaña neighborhood. The attention received was very personalized, professional and close. Quality / price all right! The rooms have all the necessary facilities for a short stay.
