This gorgeous little riad is an oasis of calm amid the medina. Luxuriously decorated with an eye for the smallest detail. Everything is spotlessly clean! Host Noureddine and his entire team spare no effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast is served at the table, the room is checked and refreshed every time you leave, excursions are arranged, restaurants are recommended and booked. On arrival and departure from the medina, the host escorted us to and from the riad through the maze of streets. Nothing is too much. Never experienced such service! Highly recommended!

Beautiful riad, beautiful room and amazing staff. Staying here was truly a unique and wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend staying here as the location makes all attractions very accessible. Special shout out to the multiple cleanings we had every day and to the manager who accommodated our every request and came to drop us off to our car when we were leaving. Lastly, I will always remember the generosity of staff to invite me to open my fast with them, thank you for everything!

Great location, lovely food, a relaxing and high quality place to stay with high standards - but most of all fantastic, friendly people and service with nothing too much trouble. My wife is allergic to garlic which can cause problems but not at Riad Joya where this was dealt with without any fuss at all. Highly recommend.

The property has very few of any amenities besides wifi (which was unstable) - no tvs or speakers, no pool, no gym, no room service - very minimal so two stars were given for property facilities and for $250/night I have higher expectations. Most conversations can be heard in the room from other guests since the rooms face inward to the courtyard. The riad is a 10 min walk from the closest street where a taxi can drop off. The service is very nice and the hotel can help with luggage. However at night it doesn't feel safe, there's no security presence in the dark alleys and boys are zipping through the alleys on scooters at 30 km/h which are quite dangerous. On a positive note, the service provided was very warm and hospitable and the breakfast was wonderful.

Beautiful riad , nice terrace views on rooftop . Chef was delightful and engaging and dinner was a fabulous Moroccan salad with a delicious beef lemon garlic tangia, followed by poached pear with honey . SoSo yummy. The manager was sweet picked up up with our luggage from our driver and escorted us with our bags onto the Medina . Great location , close walk to central square, mosque. Service was terrific!!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and I cannot recommend the place enough. Everything from being picked up at the airport to the time we left was brilliant. I've stayed in all kinds of hotels from luxury chains to boutique hotels and I cannot say I've found more attentive service anywhere before. We were greeted by Noor & team and were offered some delicious Moroccan tea with biscuits when we arrived. The Riad is gorgeous & I personally loved the courtyard & the sunny terrace. It's perfectly located within walking distance of all of the Medina's must see places and with loads of eating options close-by. The way to the Riad is a typical Medina meandering route and we did get lost the first time but Noor luckily spotted us going the wrong way :D Our room was spacious & comfy. Very clean with lot's of space to store our luggage out of the way. I LOVED the bathroom decor. The housekeeping is impeccable. My husband and I are vegetarians and had Moroccoan breads, fruit, beverages & a variety of cheese & pastries for breakfast. They do do eggs but we don't eat them & did not find the breakfast to be lacking in anyway whatsoever. Everything was fresh and delicious. I like how they leave you alone to enjoy your meals. What made me fall in love with the place was the attentiveness & hospitality of the folks running it. From arranging transport for us to day trips, food recommendations, guides, where to shop and where to exchange money; Noor went above & beyond with helping us out. I will 10/10 recommend the place to everybody. It's worth every penny & more. I stayed in Sofitel right after my stay here & all I can say is a chain is a chain & you won't find the attentiveness there :)

We asked the owner to organise transfer from the airport, which is a good tip. The car takes you to the outskirts of the Medina, and a porter guides you to your Riad. if you're in Marrakech for the first time, I strongly recommend this, as there are so few reference points. Once you get over being guided down a dark alley, you're greeted by a simple door, concealing a wonderful, contemporary designed Riad. A simple but beautiful courtyard, and a warm welcome from Noureddine, the manager. The room was delightful, the A/C fully working (it matters here). What you're instantly aware of is the peace and quiet. The roof terrace is rather lovely; simple but spacious. We arrived late, and had pre-organised dinner. What came was just splendid; traditional salads (too many), a fabulous chicken tagine with lemon and olives, and poached pear for dessert. It isn't opened as a restaurant, but it certainly could be: the food is that good. The four nights we had here were just so relaxing, and the manager couldn't be more helpful in organising trips and offering directions. After a couple of days you get the hang of the old town, but it was great to have a starting point so centrally placed. I'm sure there are many lovely places to stay in Marrakech, but I can highly recommend Riad Joya as somewhere to wind down and relax after the madness of the Medina. It really is beautiful. We want to go back...

This is our third day in this remarkable hotel, located in the center of the Mediná. The introduction, written by the hotel is really accurate. The food is wonderful. The attention to your enjoyment is impeccable. "Nor" was the most wonderful of all hosts as well. When he says "This is your home" believe him. This is THE place to stay in Marrakesh.

This Riad is very modern and difference from other more traditional. However the accommodation was stylish, sleek and super comfortable. Amazing breakfast. Shower was fantastic and the bed super comfortable unlike most of the hard beds in Morroco. Noor and his staff are super helpful, kind and took amazing care of us. We loved it and would definitely recommend and love to return

Thank you so much Noureddine and staff for the most pleasurable stay at Riad Joya. Noureddine was quick to reply to my emails and arrange airport transfers before I arrived. On arrival, you are dropped off by the medina gates and warmly greeted by Noureddine. He takes you to the riad via it’s small alleyways. Seems a bit weird as you walk through a dark alleyway but as you enter the riad, you walk into your own little haven! It is a stunning Riad with all rooms overlooking a beautiful courtyard. Room was beautiful and spacious. The standout of the stay was the kind and friendly service by all the staff at Riad Joya. They helped booked excursions and spa treatments at the riad. The hammam treatment was definitely a must if staying in Marrakech. The food was absolutely delicious. The pastilla and chicken tagine was sublime. They even whipped us up a lunch when the weather was too hot to venture out during the day. There is a roof terrace where you can sunbathe in one of the sun loungers. I found the experience of staying in a Riad better than staying in a hotel. It just felt more intimate and felt we were immersed in the life of Marrakech by staying within the medina area. Our flight wasn’t departing until the evening and Noureddine was kind enough to let us have the room to until we left. It’s these little touches that made us feel so welcome there! Don’t hesitate and please stay at Riad Joya!

What a lovely stay! The service was lovely, no ask was too small. A great location in the medina once you find your feet and great food! Breakfast was nice every morning with fruit pastries yoghurt and condiments. Room servicing was a couple of times daily. Roof terrace was lovely for sunbathing. Overall, an extremely pleasant stay for a nice holiday and would highly recommend.

Nestled in the vibrant center of Medina, this Riad stands as a tranquil sanctuary, showcasing breathtaking architecture and seven generously proportioned suites, each complemented by spacious bathrooms. Throughout our delightful two-night stay, we received exceptional care from the attentive manager, "Noor," who ensured our experience was nothing less than extraordinary. The highlight of our mornings was the delectable made-to-order breakfast, with great varieties available. Service: Noor, the sole staff member attending to guests, gave the property an Airbnb-like atmosphere, which may be seen as charming by some but could pose challenges for others. Nonetheless, Noor's exceptional friendliness and professionalism left a lasting impression, as he graciously provided insightful recommendations for exploring the markets and beyond. The only minor drawback was the need to make reservations well in advance for on-site activities like massages and dinners due to the absence of additional staff. Hard Product: The property's contemporary architecture may differ from traditional riads, but the remodeled suites impress with their practicality, spaciousness, and modern amenities. The showers boast excellent water pressure, while bathroom amenities are not provided. Public areas are limited, as the property primarily serves as a peaceful sleeping area. Tucked away from the main streets, it offers a serene and quiet environment in the evenings.
