Baohai Hotel

The most positive impressions from staying at the hotel, absolutely everything was fine. My friend and I decided to visit China for the first time and chose Weihai and this hotel rather spontaneously. We do not speak Chinese, although of course I am learning Chinese, but this basic level is clearly insufficient, our English is also not at the level of communication, which, however, did not prevent the hotel staff from surrounding us with care and immediately solving all minor problems and requests. A translator in the phone and a sincere desire to help us turned out to be quite enough. Special thanks to the hotel staff, their help and courtesy are simply impressive. We booked room Ocean # 6012 city view, the room is not large, but very comfortable for living, the room has everything you need, they even brought a clothes steamer. The only thing that seemed inconvenient at first was the lack of a wardrobe for clothes, only an open space for hangers in the hallway, but later I realized that this is not a disadvantage. The room is clean, cleaning every day, bed linen changed every other day, the beds are very comfortable, the air conditioning works. The hotel is quite quiet and you can relax peacefully. Upon arrival and departure, a compliment from the hotel, thank you very much, it was very nice and timely. Every evening they brought yoghurts to the room, several times fruit. The buffet breakfasts were very good, you can choose to your taste, even if someone does not like Chinese cuisine, you can find familiar dishes toasts, eggs, fruit, mild side dishes, bacon. Personally, I love Chinese dishes and was glad to have the opportunity to try different things for breakfast every day. The quality of the food is impeccable. The hotel has a coffee shop with very tasty coffee, there is also a seafood restaurant where you can choose the ones you like in the aquarium and they will cook it for you. Special thanks to the hotel staff who literally led us by the hand and made every effort to help us make the right order, in the end we chose octopus and it was very tasty, I can safely recommend it. There is also a barbecue restaurant downstairs, but we never got to it, we just didn't have time ))) A huge plus of the hotel is its location at the beginning of the embankment and park, walks there are a great pleasure, stunning views, wonderful air. We went to the beach by taxi for about 25 yuan one way, which is not expensive at all, but away from the bustle of the beach. There is a supermarket nearby, they sell fruit on the street, street food is also very tasty. Weihai is a wonderful city, where there are many places worth visiting and in 9 days we certainly did not have time to see even a small part, but this is a reason to go again, if we manage to return to Weihai, then the choice of hotel will be the same, nothing better is simply not needed. I can safely recommend both the city and the hotel. I booked tickets and accommodation through Tripcom, I am very pleased with the service and support. Many thanks to the hotel for the reception, one of the best places I have visited. Unfortunately, my level of Chinese did not allow me to personally thank the hotel staff. I hope that by my next visit I will learn the language and will be able to personally properly express all my most positive emotions from visiting the Baohai Hotel.
