Don't be put off by some of the reviews. This hotel has some great features. It is very clean, with spacious modern rooms, with comfortable beds and spacious balconies. Breakfast is very good, the reception staff are friendly, helpful and speak good english. The major downside is the evening dining experience: there isn't enough food and it feels like staff are either awol or running around like headless chicken. The hotel is also quite a long way from the town centre. The spacious accommodation is defintely a plus though.

I recently stayed at Palais Mehdi in Marrakesh, Morocco and it was a truly fantastic experience. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for on our vacation. An escape from the chaos of the city center to return to at the end of the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. And let's not forget about the beautiful pool, which was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. Free parking too! Omri is probably the most beautiful thing in the ancient city of Marrakech. The super professional of the housekeeper will always appear in the first time when you need it. The smile is warm and considerate. In a chaotic environment like Morocco, it is a home-like haven. On the first night, the late-night gangster was about to blackmail, the housekeeper blocked everything for us, and in the hungry night, with a limited raw material, she had a super-ceremonial gorgeous dinner. The favorite night is Marrakech's night, the room is just a few steps to warm up, and the location of the air conditioner remote control reflects the hotel's level of detail for the guests to experience the details. The smell management in the space is also very good, the smell of the smell of the French holiday. I miss you very much~

We came to the hotel with more than 10 people. The welcome is great. People are smiling and say yes to everything without sometimes even understanding. We arrived at 7:30 p.m. and our room was half done. We couldn't shower because the towels hadn't been provided. The lady in the hallway refused to give them to us. She preferred to chat on WhatsApp. Rooms never ready before 4-5 p.m. Imagine when you've been away all day and you just want to take a shower but you can't because your room isn't ready. The aesthetic department downstairs should be avoided. I did my treatments in the hall and since the beautician was taking a long time (a taxi was waiting for her 1 hour later) I did not get my entire service but I had to pay the ENTIRETY. In short, I give it a 5/10 because the place is nice and quiet. The service needs to be seriously reviewed.

I rarely take the time to review but I felt some reviews were unfair. I was worried after reading the reviews after I had booked. I think most are unfair. I think people are confusing this for a 5* The prices for a couple are a little more than you would pay for a shared room in a hostel. The hotel is basic and was more than adequate for our stay. contrary to some reviews I found the staff very friendly and polite. The breakfast is basic and buffet style. A selection of 3 types of bread, boiled eggs, Green tea, coffee, pastries , Cakes, juice, msemen, cereal and a microwave to warm things if you need to. The hotel is slightly further than most but perfectly accessible. 10 minutes in taxi 13-15drh in day 30dh at night £1.5-£3 cheap. Taxis easily flagged down on the main road opposite. language is possibly an issue as other than 1 or 2 they dont really speak english. They were upfront about pricing and whilst some things they do try charging a premium for in comparison with the shops outside they are not too dear. Like everything in Marrakesh be streetsmart, ask for clarification of charges and question any charges you feel are incorrect. I was asked to pay taxes on my checkout and I had already paid it on arrival. I questioned it and he quickly corrected his error. whether he was hustling or just made an error I dont know but he was polite and corrected himself. From the old pictures on websites and from the foyer it is obvious that this place was once quite nice. it is at present tired and needs a refurb but this is reflected in the price. This is Marrakesh, the hustle is real. do your research and book something that is appropriate for you in your budget. dont book 3 star and expect 5 star. hope this helps someone considering booking I enjoyed my stay.
