"The front desk staff were really friendly. However, it didn't feel particularly clean. Especially the common areas – I got the strong impression they weren't cleaned very well. Still, the bathrooms were quite clean. Later, I heard from a friend who lives in Dublin that the south side of Dublin (city center near Trinity College) is very safe, but the north side where this hostel is located isn't particularly safe. I definitely felt that. The buildings lined up in front of the hostel made me think of the broken window theory, and the smell of ****** nearby was really strong. Don't walk alone at night. Overall, I was satisfied since I only stayed for one night, but if you're planning a longer stay, I recommend the city center area. (This is more of a geographical location issue than an internal hostel problem...)"

"I last stayed here around 8 years ago the place has been refurbished and is excellent it's in the centre of Tallaght with with everything in walking distance whether for shopping dining or the local pubs We got a very reasonable price for our stay and we will definitely be going back in the very near future. Thanky to all the staff at the plaza hotel, Tallaght Dublin."
