The Ibis standard of quality. The service was a little below, because it is quite moved, which makes the attendants' life difficult. The bed was also bad. The positive point for the location, great, in the most slightly rough neighborhood of the city. Near the center, but also near the attractions of El Poblado, district with restaurants, bars etc. very safe region.

Three men walked into my room during my stay unannounced while two of my roommates were undressed and hotel management won’t do anything about it!! I rented 9 hotel rooms and a conference room at Hotel Dorado for 30 leaders of my nonprofit org for 4 days. On day 2 of our stay a mysterious man bolted into our room unannounced and saw my roommate completely undressed. Why would someone outside of our party could have access to our room!? We went to hotel managers Joanna and Marco and they won’t do a single thing about it. They tell us it is not a big deal just “a matter of perspective”. Shortly after reporting this, Marco charged into our room with another man behind him completely unannounced, didn’t knock, just opened the door while yet ANOTHER girl was undressing and would not leave the room claiming he is trying to “fix the problem”. Marco and Joanna need to be fired! At this point all the girls in my organization were scared, some were crying, we all felt completely UNSAFE. The management was harassing us. They have camera’s on every floor and when we asked they claim there is no footage of these events (how convenient!!!) so now we are filing suit against them so they can release the footage to us. On top of all of this mental &emotional trauma my girls went through,I spent over $3,000 for hotel rooms, conference room, and hotel catering and the hotel won’t refund us for the services and rooms we didn’t use after the incidents.This would be THE VERY LEAST they can do.

Great hotel great location and service is simply the best I’ve ever seen. The hotel is well located. It’s beautifully remodelled the rooftop bar there’s also a big island of the hotel. Breakfast was included which was great but what I love the most is that every room is beautifully remodeled, and a very intelligent use of space.

I and my husband travel to work. clean and large, well comfortable room. Coffee has few options. I felt disturbed about tolerance , I'm always pointful in terms of schedules and rules, it's good to be careful about the Check out schedule. We left in the morning and when we returned to the hotel we delayed 15 minutes because we took a journey, as soon as we walked to the hotel we were already informed that we had passed the time. We stayed in the 7th floor, it didn't give 2 minutes to get into the room to the receptionist warning that after the time would be charged. We went up to pick up the bags. Moreover, a hotel that if I need to go to Colombia would be staying for location and cleaning.

Me gustó mucho el servicio, las personas son muy amables. La habitación muy cómoda, organizada, cada detalle bien cuidado, la cama súper cómoda. El restaurante es muy bonito también, la comida estuvo muy rápido y estaba muy rica. Había música en vivo, toda la experiencia fue inolvidable. El lugar es tranquilo, seguro, los súper recomiendo.

I choose this property base on the hotel website and few reviews online. 5 Starts hotel mean an extraordinary service, customer service, and above and beyond customer service. My room was 1306 very small room, basic room, not welcome amenities (water batle or any sweets as other 5 start hotels does. The towels are absolutely inappropriate like old and stained towels, some with the bed sheets. The chairs were not in good shape and dirty. The chais were not dirty but they look old and weathered. Breakfast was delicious, local food, and several choices to eat, continental & American breakfast style available. The portion are extremely small micro-bread , so you have to put in your plate may pieces because they are too small. Poor customer service and most the employees feels like empowered just because they work at the hotel. Except few people. Upon my arrival not courtesy at all, no water bottle complementary so comparing with the holiday Inn Express & Suites located one block down that goes above & beyond to make us feel welcome at the hotel. For the price I paid it is not make sense to spent large amount of money for. Very poor service. The Hotel Bellman (April 2) in the morning. I was incredibly disappointed with this hotel. The best thing going for it is the location. LOVED the location and it's really the only hotel in the area (Laureles). Sadly, I was disappointed with the facilities and the staff. To start, as soon as we walked in, the front desk lady was standoffish and it seemed like we were bothering her checking in. Then, when we got to our room, the air conditioning wasn't working- I asked for her to send someone up and they didn't. Again, I was clearly bothering her. Thus, the rest of our stay was so stifling (we were on the 8th floor and can't open windows) that we had to leave the door open at times just to get some airflow. The room was clean enough. Twice we weren't given any towels, which we had to ask for- which again, seemed like we were bothering the staff. The bed was huge, as was the shower. But the shower was in a room that sort of just flooded everywhere, including in front of the toilet. There was a safe and a mini-fridge. Breakfast was included, but was really awful. The food just wasn't fresh. We ended up going out for breakfast half our time there, which was disappointing. While we didn't use the pool (it says it's an extra charge), we stopped by to look one night and it's definitely not worth paying extra for. Overall, we absolutely loved the area- restaurants everywhere, safe, quieter and a great vibe, but I was incredibly disappointed in the hotel, especially the staff at the front desk. So unwelcoming.

This hotel has definitely allowed me to redefine my former thoughts of what is a budget hotel. Whenever I thought “budget hotel,” I always thought of a hotel that was past its prime & a hotel that was dingy, dark, faded & completely 3rd rate. However, this hotel is completely the opposite of those things. To start, the staff at this hotel is genuinely so kind to their guests & they are equally kind & respectful toward each other. The staff is more than efficient at what they do in their professions & this allows the Ibis Budget Itagüí to have such a “feel good” comfortability. The manager here has chosen a wonderful team & your guests thank you very much! I stayed here for 24 nights & I don’t think I’ve ever felt more welcomed in any other hotel before. My room was very comfortable, with cozy linens & pillows. I slept beautifully in the bed each night. There’s a big curtained window in each room, which covers most of the wall, allowing natural sunlight to enter the room. You can’t open the windows, but the Ibis Budget Itagüí hotel is fresh & clean... & even though I do enjoy fresh air in my room, I have not one complaint with this hotel! The TV is great (with several English channel options) & electrical outlets were conveniently located throughout my room. My Internet was so fast & air-conditioning functioned perfectly. The elevators are very quick & I never waited long for one. Breakfast each morning was surprisingly more extensive than I had imagined, with many fresh fruits, omelettes to order, cereals, yogurts, breads, 2 fresh juice choices & delicious Colombian coffee with heated milk was available. The staff working in the restaurant was always so accommodating & friendly. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I get hungry & I could always go downstairs to the hotel lobby, where they have a nice selection of sandwiches & pizzas (which they gladly heated for me). There’s lots of beverage options & chips & chocolates, etc. Security is always present on the street level, as you enter the hotel, & they ensure the security of guests & staff without being intrusive. The security staff is also very polite, but efficient at what they need to do, in order to ensure everyone’s safety. This hotel is spotlessly clean with a phenomenal cleaning staff. Sometimes I would leave my room around dinner time and they would still clean my room spotlessly & they would change the sheets for me whenever I requested. The hotel appears to be a very new & a modern building. I think they just celebrated their 2nd anniversary here. On the street level, located inside this hotel building, is a bakery called Tostao’ Cafe & Pan. Everything there is delicious & all of the pastries are very French! Next-door (still inside & on the street level of the Ibis Budget Itagüí building) is a delicious & comfortable family restaurant called Burrata, which is owned by a husband & wife & their little boy. The food is delicious, with a daily menu of the freshest ingredients & tast

Hotel near main road, if you go with children and use stroller it is a bit complicated due to the steep slopes due to the geography of the area, when you arrive they give you a welcome cocktail for adults (not very good) and ice cream for children , in general the breakfast is quite abundant and good, we were only one night for a connection flight, the international airport is about 1 hour
