Lovely room, comfortable bed and quiet inside. Had everything you needed. Would love to have coffee maker/Nespresso in room and updated tv, but for one night visit to city it was good.

A wonderful stay - beautifully decked out room, warm and light. A perfect spot for a one-night getaway. Staff were efficient and friendly. Lovely old world feel to the entire place. Highly recommended.

Room was large and comfortable. Serviced daily. Aircon did not work properly. Tv did not work at all. Fabulous location.

Wonderful two night stay, very friendly service.
We upgraded to a deluxe room which was spacious with a very comfortable bed and soft pillows.
We overlooked Spring Street only negative being the windows were really in need of a clean.

Lovely very old hotel. My room was at the very back of the hotel with a view to the laneway and office people which I could see. My room was a little smokey and also had a strong plug in air freshener which was a bit overpowering but I would stay again

Was ok . Bathrooms need renovation they were a little small and still had the old style shower in the bath set up which isn’t good if you elderly or have a sore back etc also the noise from the pub was a little loud. Wasn’t expecting that!

The 141-year-old hotel is really old, elegant, and has a sense of history. The rooms are actually good. It's very close to various historical sites. Opposite is the parliament building. It's beautiful. The elevator is very slow. The windows can't be opened. The restaurant tastes good.

There are Chinese service staff at the front desk (Chinese service staff were on duty when we checked in), so communication is smoother. There will be service staff to help bring the luggage to the room. The room is not big and the air conditioning is very powerful. I didn't choose the hotel's breakfast, so I can't comment. There is a subway in front of the hotel, which is very convenient for travel.
