Good hotel and good service. I will be coming back to this hotel. Location is good, nice and quiet and not far from gozo and the ferry is easy to take. Going to Valletta is also easy with the public transport it take an hour to get there but don’t go early because of traffic

I highly recommend Labranda hotel! The service is on a high level! Everything is perfect, including foods, room, service and entertainment. Also if you need something, do not hesitate to ask and everyone tries to help you ( I really appreciate it)

Review from a solo traveler… This was my first solo trip . I have chosen Malta as its a safe travel location for a solo female traveler. Location- I chose this hotel as it’s on the beach and away from the tourists parts of Malta . I knew it would be quiet and a little remote. But didn’t realise just how remote . Basically there is nothing here except this one hotel . The closest bars / restaurants are in small town 4km away . So if you have booked BB I would suggest your upgrade to HB of AI. There are regular buses and bus stop is 2 min walk. Or you get Bolt/ Uber. There is a small like kiosk van parked outside the hotel where you can buy snacks / fruit and drinks. Hotel - clean and very quiet . Staff very friendly and helpful. Caters for the large, I would say retirement groups . Mainly French and Polish tourists . Plus side no many screaming children ( Sorry my kids are grown up now ha) I would not advise this hotel / location for the families with teens . Absolutely nothing for them to do . Pool area - exceptionally clean and plenty of of sun loungers . I went just at the start of the season. I imagine it can get very busy in the summer months. Pool staff lovely and polite. Poo bar Food was ok. Nothing special. Beach- there isn’t one . I walked 2km to Melliha beach and enjoyed couple of days there. Restaurants/ Bar. I was originally on BB but ended up upgrading to HB as did not fancy getting an Uber to the closest town every night . Food was fantastic and plenty to choose from . Different options every night . I didn't sit at the bar much. But bar staff was always polite and helpful. I only saw DJ playing music and didn’t attend any entertainment if there was some . Hotel has a strict dress code policy which includes not to wear just a swim wear in the restaurants. I knew and had no issues with this policy whatsoever . One morning I wore a knitted , elegant but a little see through beach dress. Underneath I had a very respectful swimming costume which covered everything. I was stopped by an assistant manager Vijay and asked to go and change !!! He refused to let me eat my breakfast until I changed . I was absolutely mortified and very angry.! I am in my mid 40s and do not dress inappropriately in way or form. I suggest that hotel update their dress code policy and mentions that no “transparent “ beach / pool dresses are allowed so there is no confusion. ( Vijay repeated word transparent about 20 times to me !!) In a general a lovely place although for me a little to remote ( my fault for not researching properly ) but there is also new hotel being build so hopefully in few years there will be a man made beach and maybe more restaurants and bars to chose from . Hotel I would suggest would mainly suit 60 plus ..: Would not come back . Would chose to stay in a neighbouring Malleha village if I do come back to Malta .
