This is one of my favorite hotels. The rooms have an exceptional view of Chapultepec Park and the surrounding buildings in Polanco. The hotel also has a wonderful selection of restaurants. My favorite is Alfredo di Roma Italian), as well as Au Pied de Couchon (French), and Chapulin (Mexican.) The Club Lounge on the 39th floor has a superb breakfast selection, and city view. The staff is exceptional. Everytime that I needed assistance, even helping repair my suitcase which was damaged at the airport upon my arrival in the city. The rooms are very well maintained, spacious, and offer wonderful views of the city. I also enjoy the art work, by Mexican artists, in the lobby. All of the above is due to the vision of the General Manager.

Would not recommend this hotel based on these factors. Pool only has sun about 2 hours a day so if you are looking for a pool - skip this property Wifi is terrible. Constantly down Massage at spa is so not worth the money Housekeeping did not replenish our daily waters or coffee pods Bed is not comfortable. I think the mattresses are old and so they put a pad on top. Construction and street noise is loud even though we were in the 19th floor. Buffet is just okay and too expensive unless you like liquid runny scrambled eggs What is good about this hotel? Concierge had great recommendations for dinner and breakfast Woman working at pool is awesome and goes out of her way to help Hotel is in a good location. Would I go back? No There are too many great hotels in the area.

We were working in Mexico City and as always stayed at the Hyatt Regency. The staff is very supportive no matter what silly thing we need. This time it was shredding extra paperwork - note there is a shredder in the business center. The food in the main restaurant is tasty. I particularly liked the short rib tacos, but be warned, they are juicy so be prepared to make a mess. The rooms are large, the closets ample, the how water in the shower is relaxing. Overall a great property.

I arrived on Friday at 1 and both bars were closed in the hotel getting ready for ticketed events that evening. Lots of people were irritated they couldn’t get a drink in the hotel when they arrived. So, I could not get a drink in the hotel until evening, if I had a ticket to one of their events. Their drag show and other party didn’t interest me. So, I had a drink in my room and hit the town. The Living Room bar (reason I picked W) was closed all weekend for private stuff. So, I never even saw it. The location is great and so we walked to many bars. If I go back, I wouldn’t spend the money to be at the W, when I barely made use of the place. Service and room service were good.

If you like having a refrigerator to cool your drinks off or even put some cold cuts and cheese this is the place for you. There is also a electric hot stove with two burners. And a coffee makers and plates and utensils with drinking glasses. The ceiling lamp shade hangs low enough over the dining table that a few times I accidentally bumped my head into it. I suggest you bring some soap or shower wash like Dove to use when you shower because you only get one bar of soap to do everything. Also I like to hang up my clothes so I took 12 metal hangers with me. The closet has 5 hangers not enough for me. I stayed here close to three weeks. So I needed to have a good change of clothing. The hotel is a few steps from two restaurants that open 8 am weekday and 9 am weekends until around 5 pm. Basic meal with refillable coffee -the waiter comes and pours more-- will cost you 60 pesos about US$3.00. The bed is very comfortable. Best sleep I had in years. The block is quiet. Safe area. You see the police in their cruiser making rounds. Two blocks walk south then left is Calle Rio Lerma where all the action is such as restaurants and bars. When I first arrived i was able to dine in. Unfortunately the Covid-19 count went up so food was only ”llevar” to carry out. There is a range of food prices depending on what you are looking for. At Calle Nilo a couple blocks over is a very good taco shop with decent prices but like I say it's too bad I could no longer go in there to sit and eat. On an early Sunday morning the hotel arranged a car service pick up for me that cost $230 pesos about US$11.50. Took 20 minutes to arrive at the airport leaving at 5:30 AM. It's helpful to brush up on your Spanish because when you speak to staff they will drift off from English back to Spanish. So be prepared. Staff is a very great set of people who are helpful. My room was clean. It's located about a 15-minute walk from the Sevila subway Line 1. The fare on the train is currently 5 pesos. On the bus it's 6 pesos. I suggest you buy a fare card from the machine. You can always recharge the card either at the machine or with the clerk. If you recharge at the clerk you need to put the card up against the card reader-- I had no idea that is what she was telling me until someone who worked there came over and showed me to place it against the reader. When you're at the bus stop you can also recharge the card. Just stick the card in then it would read the balance. Then you can use a bill or coins. Then press recharga.. Don't do like me and make a mistake where I accidentally hit cancelar instead of recharge then the machine took my 50-peso bill and spit out a receipt. That's robbery. Where I live if you don't get service the machine spits back out your bill or coins. So beware you're warned.even though it's only $2.50 it's still money stolen brazenly. The pictures do not resemble reality! the rooms are very small. the shower drains all over an done needs to use the two yellow towels they give you to mop the floors. The bathroom sink floods. The hotel needs a lot of attention. Also, the carpet is dirty and needs to be shampooed. the staff is nice but the hotel needs a lot of attention. Also, only one of the CARS works in the elevator. It's a very small elevator and it takes forever. People smoke right outs o the hotel so get ready for all your clothes to stink up as you come outside. Also, no heat in the rooms....so if you get cold...... Also, the purple lights that are in the building facade do not let you sleep because the light gets in the room if you have a corner suite. I would not stay here again, tjh only thing they have good is location and nice staff, but the hotel needs a lot of care.....Also, the towels are disgusting they smell and thy are yellow. please buy some bleach....

The location is good. Just walk straight for 2-3 minutes and you will reach Chinese restaurants, Japanese restaurants and Korean restaurants. It's all good. This hotel should be the top 2 hotel in Mexico. I arrived on the 9th and left on the 16th. Not a bad experience. The service staff are very nice, and the breakfast is okay (for a Chinese stomach), with omelettes and fruits. very safe. Safety is particularly important here.

I've stayed at this property before not sure if management has changed. I was really impressed on my first visit in 2020, and last year I notice changes, but was hoping for improvement this year. Overall the hotel is good for the price / location. I think they could make a few improvements. I'm not sure if they are under staff where the halls aren't vacuumed or tons of smalls details around the walls and doors don't look clean or touched up cosmetically. The furniture inside my room was stained. The Wifi worked great, the check in and check out process was easy. I took photos so I can maybe share with management. Overall don't hesitate to stay at this place!

Our family of four stayed in a 2-bedroom at Dominion for five nights. The unit was fantastic ... tons of space and great amenities. The best part was the location, which was across from Parque Lincoln and very safe. We loved being right near the part of Polanco with outdoor cafes and great streets to roam on ... really felt the European influence. Although we ran out of time to see it, right inside the park is an aviary, and you can hear the birds even without going in. It's a condo, but run sort of like a hotel, so here's what to expect: - Reception isn't 24-hours behind a desk. There's one or two people in an office, and after hours, the security guys help you with whatever you need. - They provide you with two (or more, if you ask) glass bottles for purified water, which you refill in the lower level of the building. (They're not going to deliver water bottles to your room, glass or otherwise.) Only real concern about this is that at night, they turn the water off. That makes no sense to me, especially if there's an emergency. - Door security is 24/7, which is great. If you come back in the wee hours, just knock on the door. - The pool and outdoor area is small but lovely. You need to ”reserve” it for an hour (COVID), but there was no problem getting the time we wanted. - This place is very eco-friendly. You'll get one bath towel per person unless you specifically ask for more. There was only one hand towel in the bathroom for my husband and I, which was a little weird. - If you are a Jewish sabbath observer, this place is awesome: inside the eruv, with kosher restaurants and markets close by (and they all deliver!), and a security doorman who will let you in with a knock at the door (rather than having to buzz the doorbell). Also, the big famous hotels, money exchange, etc. are right there as well. If we go back to Mexico City (which was wonderful), we'll stay at Dominion Polanco!

This property is not a full service hotel, but a boutique apartment hotel. It sits in a rather quiet corner of the lively Polanco District. It is about 100 yards from the four pricey and over hyped hotels that line the Campos Eliseos street. It is not luxurious, but it is small and homey. They even provide you with a simple breakfast and a bottle of clean water. It has a basic kitchenette and the room is ample and could accommodate up to four people comfortably. The bathroom is tiny and awkwardly designed. That is the only major drawback. It is within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and the best of this gentrified part of CDMX. Price is reasonable for the location and super reasonable if you compare it with its neighbors down the road. I would rather stay here than in those over priced properties which, by the way are always crowded with people.
