Hotels near Cantinetta del Ticinello in Milan

The room is spacious, free bottled water provided. However, the room is a bit too dark (Especially near the table). The location is a 15 minute walk from Comasina station.

This place definitely has its pro’s and con’s and it depends what sacrifices you are willing to make for price. Looking at other reviews I thought I wouldn’t mind it as I’m not too fussy usually but overall I felt uncomfortable and didn’t really want to stay any longer than I had to: Pro’s -Good cheap price -Whilst further out, it’s super convenient for public transport right outside the hotel only 2 euro to get into Milan only takes 30 mins tops -The man on reception was lovely and very helpful -Rooms are big and whilst very dated and nothing to shout home about if you’re used to budget travelling they aren’t filthy or falling apart -Nice big shower room -Fast, free Wi-Fi and slippers and towels Cons -We felt the area at times was slightly scary (although we did first arrive at night) some concerning characters/gangs in surrounding areas and appeared to be in the hotel as well. It’s a pretty rundown area and we didn’t feel very comfortable there -The walls - I’ve never known anything quite like it to be honest it was so so loud I could hear absolutely everything the entire time. Babies crying, doors shutting, people talking/shouting, playing music, stomps up the hallway - constantly and late into the night waking us up. This all added to the sense of un-ease as it didn’t seem like you were on your own and I couldn’t relax in the room and just wanted to leave. -We were also in an outhouse which wouldn’t usually be a problem but felt so exposed as it was that it just added to the feeling Despite all the positives we couldn’t look past these negatives and I really wouldn’t recommend regardless of price.

I really loved my stay here. The staff was amazing. The rooms were everything I could have hoped for, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Hot breakfast in the morning. and two bottles of water in the fridge.

I was so happy that the hotel is located 300m away from the metro station that has elevator and escalator access. I was carrying a luggage that is 40kg over and I’m happy that the metro it’s not far from the hotel. The hotel staffs upon checking was very nice and I decided to extend 1 more day and the staff was happy to assist me on that. My room was at level 6 which is great because I prefer staying at high floor (level 7 was the highest). When I inspect the room upon checking-in, it was very clean althought they only provide soap, shampoo, towels & toilet rolls. No toothbrush etc. which I don’t mind at all because I brought my own. The housekeeping was great although some only speak Italian and don’t understand English but they did their job in cleaning my room every single day, just like how I entered it on the first day. They did change the towels to fresh towels and make my bed. Overall, I will stay again at this hotel whenever I’m in Milan.

The Hotel Brunelleschi is in a convenient location to the main attractions and amenities of Milan, a 5 minute walk in a safe location. The hotel is known for its' business travelers which is how we knew of the hotel from my husband's previous stays. It is clean and well appointed with a spacious lobby, restaurant and bar along with a large dining room on the lower level serving their breakfast buffet. The room was large,comfortable with an additional small sofa which was also a pull out bed. Multiple charges available. The bathroom was well outfitted with great fluffy towels. Generous breakfast buffet offered hot and cold items with a varied selection, even offering Proseco for those who wanted to make mimosas. Staff at the desk gracious and accommodating to questions and requests. Efficient in arranging our car transportation to the airport on departure.

What a great hostel, I’ve stopped at many hostels in my time but this was very much one of the better ones. I can only comment on our private room however. Friendly welcome, easy enough check in even though we arrived at 2am due to cancelled trains, not a problem! Great bar and area, things always happening. We saw a live jazz band in there for the one night we were there. Pub crawls, city tours for free, speed dating have it all. Our room was great, clean and comfortable. It was quite loud during the night, noisy neighbours (not the hostels fault) and a weird kind of opening of vents or something from the aircon possibly. Couldn’t put my finger on it but maybe worth looking at. Thankyou to the team!

The hotel is multi storey and well situated and has underground secure parking, There are numerous shops, restaurants and a large COOP supermarket very close by. Although the mall area immediately behind the hotel has seen better days, there is also a nice park close by for walking the dog if you have one with you.. The nearest metro station is also within a ten minute walk.The rooms are a decent size and modern with a TV offering a good selection of channels including some Sky and internet. Breakfast is served on the 1st floor, food choices are fairly standard. The only negative was due to the fact that there was quite a strong wind during the night of our stay which caused a high pitched sound as it whistled around the aluminium framed windows (we were on the 8th floor) making it difficult to sleep peacefully, even though the bed itself was quite comfortable.There were only two pillows in the room on arrival but room service brought us two extra on request. There is no fridge in the room, which would be useful given the very hot summer. Fortunately the A/C unit was working and kept the room cool and comfortable.

Reserved in November for a special occasion, the derby of Milan; I arrived yesterday night, ready to put the luggage and run to the stadium; at the reception I am told that my reservation is not here by email of 30 January They would have reported that you haven't been connected with the payment!!! But how? Year 2023, it was digital and how many others did not call? Send emails just in the period when “free” is blocked by 10 gg? Let's lose. Paying more I take the room. The room looks at the back with a beautiful church view, sounds of 🔔 exceptional clocks, finally calm. I said date, yes; you feel much the noise of the neighbors of the room, the discharge is noisy. The room was very large and good for 2 people. The room was quite clean. The breakfast was good and plentyful.

Booked for an event at the Assago Forum, location is on the ring road so if you don't have a vehicle, getting around is difficult. The structure is equipped with a limited shuttle service at free and paid times. The first day we didn't know where to take the shuttle and we had some problems but with a couple of phone calls they reached us so I must say they are really available. Precisely for the point, the structure appears to be quiet, with a huge breakfast room and the possibility to dine on site at the restaurant by booking. Federico at the reception who served us for the check in and provided us with all the info and helped us with our shuttle requests (the driver is sometimes engaged in other activities and we did not want to create inconvenience by notifying our request a little earlier). All very nice, with my 5 month pregnant wife we had no problems, rooms with large and clean beds, quite quiet and 4 lifts, I will certainly return with children in the future.

Situated close to airport with a free 5min shuttle that arrives every ten-fifteen minutes which is the best feature. Hotel room and condition was very clean, bathroom was immaculate. Hotel lets itself down service wise in the restaurant. We told the waiter we were ready to order dessert twice and waited over 25mins and he did not return. The other dissapoin**ent was air conditioning. Couldn't figure out how to get it working properly in the room and it was far from intuitive. Therefore was unable to sleep at all and had a very uncomfortable night followed by a 6am departure.
