Among all the B&Bs I've stayed at, this one easily ranks in the top three. If you factor in the price, it's definitely number one for value for money. The family running the B&B was incredibly welcoming and warm, especially the older folks who were so vibrant. To get from the B&B to the Jinshanling Great Wall hiking entrance, we asked the owner to call a car for us, and it was only 10 yuan per person one way, dropping us off directly. The minivan was much more comfortable than taking the shuttle bus, and it's also a short walk if you prefer. If I had to pick a downside, the toiletries were a bit basic, but considering the room rate, that's easily overlooked.

The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the spacious and bright room—large windows offered mountain views, sunlight streamed warmly onto the wooden floors, and the low-saturation wood tones created a sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere. What impressed me most were the details: ✅ The bedding was so soft, like being wrapped in a cloud; a good night's sleep instantly relieved the fatigue of my journey. ✅ The bathroom featured a dark theme and a smart toilet; the shower pressure was so strong it felt like a spa treatment, and the vanity lighting was so bright you didn't even need extra light for makeup. ✅ The room even had a projector and a large screen! Drawing the curtains instantly transformed it into a private cinema—perfect for binge-watching shows from bed! ✅ The mini-bar offered complimentary bottled water and tea sets, and even plenty of clothes hangers, creating a truly relaxing ”home away from home” feel. The service was also excellent throughout; check-in at the front desk was incredibly fast, and any questions were answered instantly. The price-performance ratio is far superior to hotels in the same price range. I will definitely choose it again next time I come here for business or tourism!

The hotel environment is clean and grand, with an excellent location that makes getting around easy. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bedding provides a great night's sleep. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options, and the staff are warm and attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengde. The overall experience exceeded my expectations. The hygiene was well-maintained, the facilities were complete, and the service was polite. The breakfast tasted good, and parking was convenient. It's very suitable for family travel, highly recommended.

This is my second time visiting Wulingshan, and I chose Lanye Hotel again~ I've been eating breakfast at Shangu (Valley) restaurant, and I'm very satisfied, having eaten there for two consecutive days. I especially love the wild vegetable buns. The hotel was also incredibly thoughtful; knowing I was pregnant, they prepared an air purifier and a pregnancy pillow for me~ They also arranged for a high-floor room, so it wasn't noisy at all. They really put their heart into it!

We were returning from a group tour to Inner Mongolia and decided to visit Jinshanling Great Wall on the way. We found Qingfeng Inn on Trip.com. It's clean, hygienic, and the environment is lovely. Both accommodation and dining are very convenient. The owner is super friendly; we were exhausted after coming down from the Great Wall, and the kids didn't want to walk anymore, so the owner even came to pick us up. When we left, they even gave us some cucumbers from their own garden for the road – truly appreciate it! Highly recommend staying and eating here.

The hotel is excellent! The rooms are clean and tidy. Xiao Liang and Xiao Han at the front desk were incredibly warm and patient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit the Chengde Mountain Resort!

I booked a double queen room for this trip, and honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but I was genuinely surprised the moment I opened the door. It's perfectly spacious for a family of four and more cost-effective than booking two separate rooms. The room was bright and roomy, and the cleanliness was impeccable. All the toiletries were disposable, which gave me peace of mind. The kids loved it too! The surrounding area is bustling with plenty of dining options. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Location, Location, Location. This is the place to stay if you want to see sunrise and sunset and beat the day trippers to the stunningly scenic Jinshanling wall. Same ticket with facial recognition would let you do that. Come out of the hotel, turn right, about 250 metres and you are at the gate. Then either catch the cable car or walk along a fairly easy and well maintained trail to reach the steps. I have attached a photo of the direction in English, kept at the reception. We came from Gubei town. We had a private car/driver and it was very easy to combine Simatai night view and Jinshanling. Try to enjoy both. We were there in mid May and looked like the hotel was not fully geared up. There was no buffet breakfast. The breakfast was simple but probably not a great value. I had a look at the dinner menu. Expensive ad limited vegetarian options. Did not try at the hotel. The room was fine, clean, decent bed and adequate although the storage space was not enough for us travelling in China for a month. Very unusual ceiling with a wooden ceiling fan. We had the cheapest room overlooking a car park. The lobby had some very nice artefacts. Very little English spoken, manged with translate app. Not much interaction with other staff. Overall, I'd stay here simply because of the unbeatable location.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and fresh air, and both the facilities and cleanliness are impeccable. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious. Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I have to complain about a front desk staff member who answered the phone between 7 and 10 PM on the 31st. The first time I reported the washing machine wasn't working, she actually told me it was leaking and advised me not to use it. I ended up fixing and using it myself. The second time I called about the shower water not getting hot, her response was even more ridiculous: she told me to just keep running the water until it got hot. I wasted nearly half an hour, and the water never got warm. In the end, a housekeeping staff member came and simply inserted the gas card, which solved the problem. What's worse is her terrible attitude; she was argumentative and refused to admit her incompetence in handling issues, acting as if she knew everything. She definitely deserves a bad review! On another note, the hotel is very close to Jinshanling Great Wall, which is absolutely worth a visit!

We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.
