He also took us to discover many interesting places, patiently answered all our questions, and helped us book a fantastic pig-trough boat experience. The hotel boasts a unique geographical location, directly facing Goddess Bay of Lugu Lake, enjoying the most captivating scenery of the entire lake area. Opening the window reveals picturesque lake and mountain views; misty mornings and evenings bathed in sunset glow create an immersive ambiance, with every frame captivating the senses. The room design is equally impressive; from the bedding to the overall decor, every detail reveals careful consideration. The bedding is made from premium materials, soft and skin-friendly, providing an extremely comfortable sleep that ensures a restful night and dispels all fatigue. The hotel's overall environment and every detail within the rooms have been meticulously refined – the color temperature of the lighting, the tactile feel of materials, the spatial layout, and even that small corner by the window perfect for quiet contemplation, all exude a restrained yet warm aesthetic, detailed but never contrived. On the service front, every staff member displayed a high level of professionalism, being attentive and considerate while maintaining appropriate boundaries, making guests genuinely feel cared for and at ease. The tour programs offered by the hotel are also outstanding, with well-designed itineraries and diverse, enriching experiences. From lake tours to hiking, boat rides to cultural explorations, each activity ensured an enjoyable return, greatly enhancing the quality of the trip. Even more noteworthy is that the hotel group owns several excellent restaurants, not just within the hotel premises but distributed across various areas of Lugu Lake. The food quality remains consistently high, demonstrating their strong operational capabilities and brand strength. Guests can enjoy their well-prepared or recommended delicious meals in a large part of the scenic area, which is a rare find in a tourist destination. Having traveled and stayed in numerous hotels across the country, I can honestly say that this hotel has reached a top-tier standard in China in my eyes. Whether it's the hardware facilities, environmental ambiance, service details, or the completeness of dining quality and travel experience, it is on par with any excellent hotel I have ever stayed in. It deserves my most sincere praise and high recommendation, was the most pleasant discovery of my Lugu Lake trip, and is my definite recommendation for all friends in the future.

Dingxia Island: The Forest Tea House Hidden in the Mountain Night, the Biggest Surprise of This Trip Beyond the beautiful lakes and mountains of Lugu Lake, Dingxia Island offered an experience that far exceeded my expectations. While the gorgeous lake-view rooms were a highlight, it was the forest tea house, meticulously crafted within the resort, that truly captivated me. The entire resort is built harmoniously with the mountain slopes, featuring staggered old wooden cabins, thatched roofs, and scattered tent accommodations nestled amongst the pine trees. As night falls, warm string lights illuminate the pathways, blending seamlessly with the evening, the pines, and the vegetation, creating an incredibly enchanting atmosphere. Strolling along the stone steps, each turn reveals a new picturesque scene—be it a triangular tent or an independent wooden tea room—each space possessing its own unique charm. I particularly loved the forest tea house. These independent wooden tea structures, set amidst the woods, with paper lanterns, low tea tables, and futon cushions, perfectly encapsulate the essence of the wilderness and tea culture. Sitting here brewing a pot of Pu'er, with the deep mountains visible through the window and the evening breeze rustling through the pine branches, all urban anxiety and fatigue simply melt away. It's an ideal spot for a quiet tea gathering for two, or a small salon-style meeting with friends, offering an unparalleled ambiance. The LOFT duplex lake-view room we stayed in was equally impressive. With its two-story layout, the space felt expansive and comfortable. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct views of the entire Lugu Lake, and the tatami tea table by the window was perfect for enjoying the lake and mountain sunset at leisure. All the hardware was brand new, the lighting was soft and sophisticated, and the heating was ample. Parking for self-drivers was convenient, making our travels worry-free. The staff provided genuine and thoughtful service, offering practical local recommendations without being overly polite. This place offers not only prime, front-row views of Lugu Lake but also a unique mountain forest tea space. It's more than just accommodation; it's a destination where you can immerse yourself in tea and unwind. Whether you're traveling with family or with fellow tea enthusiasts, Dingxia Island is well worth a special trip to Lugu Lake. Some hotels give you a five-star experience from the moment you check in, while others start off just okay and then gradually earn their five stars. Qi Man belongs to the latter. To be honest, Qi Man wasn't the hotel I was looking for. Initially, I just wanted to find a highly-rated, clean, and pet-friendly hotel in Lijiang. When I saw Qi Man had the highest rating and best reviews, I booked it. It was only when I was driving there that I realized it wasn't near Lijiang city but rather in Lugu Lake. To my surprise, there was even an entrance fee to stay in Lugu Lake, and I almost turned back. Upon arrival, we couldn't park directly in front of the hotel. Although the hotel provided shuttle service back and forth, it was still quite inconvenient. Also, when I entered the room, there was a smell of smoke from the headboard. However, the hotel staff's service attitude eased my anxiety and frustration, making me willing to stay for one night. If I had left the next day, I probably would have given Qi Man a quite low rating. But on the second day, seeing the scenery of Lugu Lake, the backyard of Qi Man, and the swaying tree shadows, I suddenly felt much better. The staff were friendly, there were many kittens in the backyard, and also fruit trees. The entire hotel design was also thoughtfully done. Because of this, I didn't regret staying for a few days as planned and even extended my stay for a few more days. If I had left on the third day, I would have definitely given Qi Man a five-star rating. Unfortunately, on the fourth day, someone was smoking on the balcony. Qi Man's design is excellent, and the lake views are fantastic. Sitting on the balcony with a coffee, enjoying the cool breeze and the lake and mountain scenery, is pure bliss – but not when you're inhaling second-hand smoke, which also drifts into the room. So, I can't give five stars for hygiene.

This hotel left an extremely strong impression on my family! For the price point, the location and view from our room was amazing. The view is unblocked, and we had a nice walk by the lake. There is a cafe beside the hotel which served nice drinks and food. The view from the cafe was excellent, and we would highly recommend paying a visit there! The room had a nice, cozy feeling and a spacious balcony. There aren't many restaurants in this particular town, but the main town is about a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the hotel. However, the hotel is able to provide dinner! They have a several options to choose from like noodles and hotpot, and the prices are extremely affordable! The hotpot was really delicious as well, and the breakfast was scrumptious! In the morning, there will be dew above the waters of the lake, and the view is simply stunning. Overall, we had a really great experience here thanks to the helpful and friendly staff!

Facilities: The facilities are excellent, well-maintained, and stylishly minimalist. The room has a smart toilet, and I absolutely loved the scent of the shampoo and shower gel – I'm definitely buying them for home! Our room also had a lovely little courtyard with a tea set, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea. The showerhead was branded, with perfect water temperature and strong pressure. Cleanliness: I'm a bit of a clean freak, and this hotel room was meticulously clean and tidy. I was very impressed. Location: It's right on Lugu Lake, just a few dozen meters' walk to Daloshui Wharf, and very close to where the bus drops you off. Service: This was the highlight! From the moment we got off the bus, we didn't have to carry our luggage once. The staff and owner contacted us beforehand to confirm our itinerary. As soon as we called them after getting off the bus, they immediately drove over to pick us up. The staff member carried our luggage all the way to our room. When we checked out, the owner also drove us to the bus stop and even carried our bags into the bus's luggage compartment. We literally just walked with our hands free! We had a very comfortable stay! I'll definitely come back for a longer visit next time!

My first review on Ctrip is dedicated to Muyu Guesthouse in Lugu Lake. As someone who doesn't like to do much research, I'm always afraid of being misled by online photos before booking. After browsing hundreds of hotels and guesthouses, I finally chose Muyu, which I suppose was fate. The result far exceeded my expectations: the entire guesthouse is decorated in warm orange tones, and every room exudes a cozy and romantic atmosphere. I especially loved the small garden on the first floor—among the guesthouses in the area, only Muyu has maintained its plants so meticulously, perfect for photos and for pets to play in. The short-haired landlady is efficient and warm, with a natural radiance in her conversation. From the spatial layout to the service details, her thoughtfulness is evident everywhere. Even the recommended local restaurants were a pleasant surprise. Lugu Lake is already a paradise worth visiting repeatedly, and Muyu's existence gives this longing a true home. After returning home, Mr. Z was inspired to write a poem for Muyu as a token of his gratitude: Muyu: Emerald green hills creep up the steps at dawn, the reed gates open to reveal a lush dew. Muyu The aroma of beans cooked in the spring fills the house; the cauldron, like clouds, is simmered, its surface shimmering like silk. Occasionally, mountain birds are called to add to the wild vegetables; sometimes, the moon shines on the fragrant cup. The most sentimental is the guest by the abyss, who rises at dawn to simmer a soup of fine, delicate ingredients.

I booked a designer hotel right by the lake in Daluoshui Village this time. The butler contacted me in advance to arrange my check-in, and there was a dedicated car to pick me up from the entrance of Daluoshui Village. The hotel is very new, the room had no strange odors, and the amenities were quite comprehensive. The butler, Zhaxi Yangge, provided warm and thoughtful service, and even gave me a souvenir when I left. P.S. The scenery was incredible all three days I was here, and coupled with the hotel's exceptional service, this trip to Lugu Lake was absolutely worth it!

Service: The service was excellent. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, and since we checked in during the off-season, they upgraded our room and even provided afternoon tea. When we left, they gave us scented candles as a gift. We were quite forgetful and left some items behind, and the front desk staff, a lovely lady, reminded us and even drove them out to us. We bothered her twice, and we were truly touched, grateful, and a bit embarrassed at the same time 😂. Room: The upgraded room had a perfect view of Lugu Lake right from the window. Unable to sleep at night, I could lie in bed and gaze at the starry sky, and surprisingly, even managed to capture a sky full of stars through the window. The sunrise at around 6 AM was breathtaking, with the soft sunlight gently filling the room, allowing for a 'painless' sunrise viewing experience. This window alone makes it worth a five-star rating. Amenities: The hotel's terrace and restaurant offer fantastic views; just sitting there, eating, and daydreaming was a true pleasure. The breakfast was very generous, and both the elderly and children were very satisfied. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located on the lakeside not far from the lake area. The balcony faces southeast. We arrived in the afternoon and saw the beautiful scenery of Lugu Lake. Lugu Lake is quiet and beautiful, just like this hotel and the hostess of the hotel. A girl, enthusiastic and sincere. We thought that afternoon tea was just a cup of tea and a few biscuits. But they had 4 kinds of fruits, French fries and chicken nuggets, and the tea was also a local specialty flower tea. It was very attentive at first glance. There were also desserts in the evening. The rice noodles for her breakfast were much better than those in most restaurants. The hotel is clean, well-equipped, and the hot water in the bathtub is sufficient. It adds a lot of color to the trip to Lugu Lake. I look forward to going there again next time.

The lake view is absolutely stunning! Breakfast was served promptly and was very tasty. Taking a hot spring bath was particularly comfortable – pure bliss! We booked rooms with private hot tubs for both nights, which was incredibly relaxing. The place was also very clean. Plus, there's a street full of eateries right out the back door, making it super convenient to stay here in Daluoshui Village.
