La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Myrtle Beach Broadway Area

Nothing to tell other than the Motel was needing a bit of refurbishment...

All the electronic locks on the doors on the third floor were not working they needed to be updated which was a big hassle

Terrible stay, none of the facilities were open, gym equipment was broken and house keeping didn’t come once

The rooms were nice, but the floors were really dirty, instead of vacuuming the wood type floors you should use a mop or a swifter or something like that cause they were super dirty, and the shower rods were tilted so the shower curtains did stay in place at the corners letting water get outside of the tub had a huge puddle next to the toilet because of the curtain moving when washing my hair and the water got outside of the tub. But it was nice tv had Netflix you could sign into, had a tv guide, breakfast was okay had waffles and bagels and cereal cups and yogurt and apples and hard boiled eggs, was cute enjoyed it. Would stay here again, probably will be staying here again! those were just little things I noticed, also room was kind of muggy like it needed a humidifier or something in it. Had a lot of space in my opinion though and a little dining room table too, small closet and a lot of mirrors. I liked the rooms layout for sure beds were comfy too

Overall ok. Mattress was clearly concave, breakfast was unimpressive, things are updated but you can tell the building is old. No major complaints though.

We usually stay at this La Quinta location when attending an annual event at the nearby Broadway at the Beach because it is so conveniently located and priced affordably. The rooms are comfortable and provide amenities such as a refrigerator, desk and reclining chair. My husband requires an accessible room and these rooms offer a shower chair and rails in the bathroom. The only problem we encountered was that the shower didn’t work, so we needed to take baths, which would not have been my preference. However, it was only a 2-night stay, so we made do and reported the problem at checkout. The hotel offers a daily breakfast which includes a selection of bagels, bread for toast, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit and breakfast beverages including fruit juices.

Very nice place. Very convenient to all shopping, the beach and all attractions. People are so nice and easy to talk too. We will come back.

I like that the restaurants was within walking distance of the hotel. Also the hotel decor was beautiful. Continental breakfast was good, I would have liked for them to have the option of cold water or cranberry juice to drink as well besides the apple and orange juice. Other than that my stay was lovely.

We couldn’t get into our room- we made 4 trips to the front desk and they had to move us twice because the keys wouldn’t work to any of the rooms. Even the master key that the front desk person had wouldn’t work. It took us over an hour to get jnto a room. The beds were sunken in the middle- at least 8-10” inches. The room had a strange smell and it was very old and dated. Bad experience overall.
