Daiwa Roynet Hotel Naha Omoromachi

Fantastic hotel! It's very clean, and during our five-day stay, they changed our sheets and cleaned the room every day. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the view from our window was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay here!

It's a bit of a walk from the subway station. There's a pretty good shopping mall diagonally across from the hotel with a supermarket, restaurants, and department stores. I even managed to snag an outdoor hiking backpack at a great price there – really good! Like many Japanese chain hotels, you can pick up essential amenities like toothbrushes, facial cleansers, and tea bags yourself at the front desk when checking in. However, at this particular hotel, there was a small sign on the counter that read, "＜For Women＞ essential amenities need to be requested from the front desk." I only noticed this sign after looking around and not finding things like toner or makeup remover. I'm not sure why they do this (maybe too many items went missing in the past?), but it honestly felt like a hassle, and I really didn't want to have to ask the front desk for them.

Clean hotel, good location. The only downside is the expensive parking; I hope they'll offer free parking packages in the future. The cleanliness and comfort are commendable! 👍 I'll definitely come back next time!

I've stayed at the Roynet near the Prefectural Office station before, and this time, traveling solo, I decided to try the other Roynet in Omoromachi. It's about a 30-minute monorail ride from the airport, getting off at the 11th stop. The hotel is located across from Duty Free, and it's a leisurely 15-minute walk from the station. The room this time was quite spacious, and all toiletries could be picked up from the lobby. I'm very grateful for the comfortable environment and service this hotel provided during my 6-day, 5-night trip.

The hotel's location is superb! Diagonally opposite on the left is the 3A Department Store, and diagonally opposite on the right is the DFS store. The lobby is on the 9th floor, guest rooms are on the 10th floor and above, and the restaurant is at the very top of the building. Enjoying a meal there while taking in the views is a truly unique experience.

The hotel's location is excellent, close to shopping malls, parks, and museums. DFS is right across the street, and it's very close to bus stops and monorail stations, making it convenient to get to other tourist attractions! Every time I visit Japan, I stay at a Daiwa-affiliated hotel, and their member policies are also applicable here.

Out of all the island nations, Japan is the only one where the pool is not only small but also costs extra, which is really odd. It's frustrating that the hotel pool charges a daily fee, especially since I booked it specifically for the pool. On top of that, kids aren't allowed in the main pool, only the small, shallow one. So annoying! 😮💨
