Moksham Himalayan Campsite Pangot

A great location paired with exceptional hospitality can truly make a trip memorable. Hosts like Yashika and Ankit seem to have a special talent for making guests feel welcome and comfortable. And of course, delicious food is the cherry on top of an already fantastic stay. It's clear that this place has left a lasting impression, making it a recommended spot for others to enjoy as well.

We had a fantastic 3 nights stay at Moksham. Right from the moment we reached till the last good-byes, everything was spot on. The hosts - Yashika and Ankit were very hospitable and they have put in their sweat & toil to make this a property what it is. And this has also rubbed on to all staff who work at Moksham. Property has a gorgeous location - overlooking a valley in a sleepy village called Ghuggu Kham near Pangot. You wake up to a numerous chirping birds. And evenings and sunsets are to die for. The food is excellent - in taste and portions. Breakfast was included - It wasn't a buffet, but a number of options can be ordered. The dining area has a very elegant vibe (good music playlists :) ) and it's adorned with numerous books all around. The property is dotted with a lot of flowering plants, which attracts birds, and butterflies. This is a campsite. The tents (not rooms) are well appointed and has everything to have a comfortable stay. Special mention must go to couple of walks we did during our stay (organized by Moksham): Forest Walk and Bird Watching trail. This was ably managed by Deepak, who is very knowledgeable on local flora and fauna. This was made even better by the 3 special hosts (Julie, Bhairav and Damru - the dogs), who were super energetic and entertaining!

Great place with unmatched hospitality. We really loved the vibe of Moksham Camps, a Quaint place with super friendly staff and beautifully clean rooms.The food at Cafe Moksham makes you feel at home. Above all the hosts- Yashika & Ankit will make sure you have the best of experience.

I am a frequent traveller and consider hills my detox retreat!! My preference is always unorthodox and non-commercialized places…… Love to visit offbeat locations. Decided to Visit Moksham Himalayan Campsite (Gugukham/Pangot, Uttarakhand) on my 12 Anniversary with family. My wife, daughters and parents simply love the stay and experience (P.S. it was their first Campsite stay). We simply fell in love with the beauty and peacefulness of surrounding, it was totally opposite to our daily hectic life of Noida and to add on top of it, the hospitality we received was awesome……. We certainly felt it was short and could get some more days to extend ☹ I strongly recommend them to friends & family and looking forward to my revisit. Abhishek

Simply it was my best stay so far in any tourist spot. The place was so undisturbed and peaceful in the midst of mountains. From the rising till the setting of the Sun you can witness the sounds & beauty of nature. A place away from the noise and hustle of life gives you a precious time to ponder alone or with your loved ones. Last but not least the owners of the Moksham (Ankit and Yashika) were amazing and so hospitable that you'd feel yourself becoming part of their family. Only one thing which I want them to improve is to have more items in a meal (breakfast, lunch & dinner). Though the food was amazing just, I felt like I'm getting routine food every day. I was hoping for more options to choose from the menu in everyday meals. Rest everything was wonderful and so unique experience it was at Moksham. So thank you for giving us a beautiful and memorable stay amid nature. I hope to visit you soon in winter.❤️

Place is very quite in the lap of nature, early morning chirping of birds makes you feel connected with nature ,It was a pleasant stay, hospitality is great, homely stay, staff was very warm and friendly

So here is a quick summary of my stay experience with all the relevant things which we consider for any trip. 1. Staff Behavior - Polite and friendly 2. Stay Experience - Comfortable and filled with ambience of the natural beauty. 3. Location - Exquisite 4. Food - Everything was upto the mark, specially "Burhas Juice" known as "rhododendron juice" which is a must try. 5. Activities - Almost everthing you can expect from a trek in mountains and even more. If you want to escape from the city crowd and heat, you will have to visit this place at least once and I am damn sure you would come again for sure.
