The night staff was absolutely amazing. Coming in with a team of young men for a regatta. Not realizing there was not much of a lobby for guests to bring in food to sit and feed 20 hungry boys. Amli and his team where super helpful and it was very much appreciate. Kindness and professionalism was all night from check in to the bar attendant. Our room was clean and no issues. Same as the hallways- we are grateful.

I had a poor experience at the Sheraton in Novi while staying with a family member to celebrate a belated Christmas as we weren't able to get together around Christmas proper. While I was upgraded to a room on the club lounge floor, the guest room I received was not clean by any definition of clean. There was hair on the desk and desk chair, hair on the toilet, hair under the toilet seat, hair on the wrapped bar of soap and soap dish, stains on the desk, and stains on the face tissue container. The single bathrobe hanging in the closet appeared to have been previously worn and didn't have a cincture. On my reservation I specifically requested only 100% feather pillows. My reservation also requested a bathrobe, slippers, extra pillows and extra towels. I didn't receive any of those things. The four pillows were four polyester down-alternative pillows. Those pillows are horrible. They always feel like someone stuffed cotton balls in a pillowcase. During check-in I noticed a sign at the front desk saying daily housekeeping is not provided, unless specially requested. The major cleanliness issues that I experienced are a direct result of what happens when hotels don't clean rooms and other spaces each and every day. I received zero Marriott Bonvoy elite status recognition. Specifically, I was not offered the choice at check-in of breakfast in the restaurant, an amenity or points. I complained to the general manager, who to his credit acknowledged the lack of cleanliness was unacceptable, fully apologized and took responsibility. To resolve the issue, he offered to comp my stay and ensure that the room was thoroughly cleaned while we were out of the room and off-property at a nearby shopping mall. He also apologized for the lack of Bonvoy recognition and provided the $100 cash compensation that is required by Marriott for not offering guest with platinum or higher Bonvoy status the choice at check-in of breakfast in the restaurant, an amenity or points. When we returned, the room was properly cleaned. The pillows were replaced with feather pillows, although none of the feather pillows had pillow protectors or pillowcase liners. Two clean bathrobes and two pairs of slippers were placed in the closet. The general manager was also kind enough to leave a bottle of wine in the room. My family member was really appreciative of that gesture. Despite the issues, the staff that I encountered throughout the stay were polite, welcoming and hospitable. That aside, there was zero excuse for the cleanliness issues or the lack of attention to what was specified on the reservation The club lounge was open with an average evening offering that included a selection of assorted cheeses, crackers, grapes, fruit and some basic canapés. Besides free nonalcoholic drinks, an honor bar featured cheap house wine ($5 retail bottles of wine) selling for $5 a glass. The club lounge is a nice smaller space. We had booked this hotel for the weekend and came across some disappointments making us not want to stay at a Hilton again. When we arrived at 8:30pm we were told the pool was closed and is only open 8-8 (found out the next day you have to reserve a pool time). Even though we found nothing on their website about this. They asked if we wanted to schedule room service upon checking in and we said yes but the next day we never got room service. We had stripped the bed noticing the sheets and bed protector were stained. I notified the front desk and they said they didn't have us down for room service. He was accommodating and eventually offered us a new room. Which we appreciated. The beds and pillows were not as expected. However, The customer service at the desk and dining area were great!

I recently stayed at this location for a two day meeting. The meeting space was clean, set up perfectly and EVERY staff member including Basil the Manager was extremely professional and willing to help. The attention to detail was amazing, and they always checked to make sure everything was up to snuff. My room was extremely clean, and anything I needed was responded to immediately. Even the janitor made sure that we didn't need anything in the breakfast area before he mopped there. It is obvious that Basil leads a ”Service First” team and it is trickled down through to every team member. I absolutely recommend staying or hosting a meeting at this location. Extremely well done.

Our family appreciated the clean facility, professional staff, and the location to several venues and restaurants in the area. We plan to stay here again and recommend to other young families. This is also a great venue for weddings and other large parties. The outdoor bar/grill is excellent.

My family stayed at this property for one night as we traveled for his dance competitions. I found the staff at this property friendly and helpful. The pool area was sufficient for my son to use in his ”downtime.” I LOVED the studio suite, our only choice when I had to modify the reservation from two to one night. Although it was a studio room, it was very spacious and accommodating. The bedding was comfortable, and I slept like a ”rock.” The only two suggestions I have for the hotel are to get a smaller, more travel-sized hair dryer (the one in the room was large and heavy to use) and it would be nice to have a bit more of an expansive breakfast. Otherwise, it was great, and when we travel to this area, I'll plan to stay at this property again.

I enjoyed the hotel stay. We had a one bedroom two queen beds suite. It was visually appealing and had all of the comforts of home in terms of a full kitchen, friendly staff and is pet friendly. The location was also nice and convenient and quiet. Lots of restaurants nearby. The only complaint I had was that when I booked the stay the website said it was pet friendly and that there may have been other costs but it wasn't until check in that I learned of the $75 fee for one fur baby for only one night. I would have preferred to know a flat rate prior to check in. Although I personally don't like the idea of establishments charging for fur babies in advance. Meanwhile I do believe that if damage results then yes the owner should or could be subjected to fees and costs related to said damage. Otherwise it seems like businesses only take advantage of its customers. I mean are they not going to vacuum and make sure the room smells nice between patrons anyway? I wouldn't mind paying a smaller fee but even then if there is no bathroom incidences and or other damages then why the need to charge extra for a single household pet for a single overnight stay? Overall we enjoyed our stay.
