Tui Blue Jadran

Lovely staff, nice food and beautiful view from room. Prepare for noisy crickets and lot's of kids in both pools. Also smoking permitted in pools, that staff would not do anything about. Else sea was so nice water, just not a private beach as others have noted - a shame. Both pools filled with kids playing - infinity pool not the "quit" pool we had hoped for. Also, it was a battle to even get lounge chairs - people literally get up early as possible to "reserve" pool and beach chairs for rest of day - not a practical system. Most sad to say - this was not the peace and quit we had hoped for. The crickets are constant and loud outside in all of this area (crickets sing all day, then maybe quit 1-2 hrs, to yet begin singing again). Strangely no one else has mentioned this in other reviews - but this mainly why we can only give 3 stars. So, if you like crickets song - this is a very nice place to stay - else we recommend to stay away - maybe even stay away from other hotels too in this area. Was very stressfull for us!

Wonderful welcome from staff on arrival and the friendliness and great service continued throughout our 10 day stay. Our sea facing room and large balcony, rain fall shower, separate closet area and comfy king size bed. The room was cleaned to our standard everyday and toiletries and towels refreshed when required. A selection of food at breakfast and dinner buffets was very good with several fish, meat and vegetarian options. There were a few vegan options but I wouldn’t say the menu was vegan friendly. Good service during dinner, always a lovely selection of desserts to suit everyone’s pallet. The bar staff are friendly and efficient and there was a good selection of beers, wines and cocktails in the both hotel and beach bar. Pool area was comfortable and never issue of getting a sun lounger any time of the day. Semi private beach which also had plenty of sun loungers and the sea was beautifully clear and refreshing. It’s an easy walk into Tucepi with a good variety of bars and restaurants and there was nightly entertainment at the hotel with a relaxed vibe, wouldn’t hesitate to come again and would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful hotel and holiday, stayed beginning of July for 2weeks. Arrived in a thunderstorm where we were greeted with elderflower drink which was a lovely touch. Hotel is spotless and you can tell they really work hard to keep it that way. We stayed b&b and were very happy with breakfast, there is a lot of choice and I would say you need to change it up daily so not boring as so much choice, they have an in house bakery and the selection is amazing!! A big shout out for Suad, he helped my partner with e-bikes and kayaking and really took the time to explain where the best places to go, Air condition is the best, in rooms and when you step out the lifts- it was needed. Plenty sun beds at any time of the day and there are ice machines at the end of the corridors which are a fabulous touch, we didn’t realise until half way thru holiday what the units were. More a adults hotel and if you after a chilled holiday this is the one!

We stayed at the Tui Blue Jadran w/c 26th June for 1 week...I wish it was longer as we had an amazing time! We couldnt fault the hotel at all. Absolutly spotless. The location was perfect, especially the crystal clear sea! Was about an hour and a half from Split airport. Our room (624) was on the top floor and we had stunning sea views (see photo from our room). We paid for a sea view and I emailed the hotel in advance to request a high floor. The two swimming pools were one depth and lovely to swim in, plenty of sun beds available but the pool and also free to use at the beach to. Towels provided as well. I used the gym which was small but very clean. Lovely running routes along the sea front. I also took part in aqua aerobics booking via the Tui Blue app. We were half board and the food was fantastic. The orange juice at breakfast was so fresh, the bread (freshly baked on site) was lovely! So much choice. On most occasions we managed to get a table outside looking out to sea. We had some drinks from the pool bar and also ate twice in the Pink Cricket near the hotel beach, good varied menu. We rented a kayak from the hotel, quite resonable at 18 euros. The evening enteratainment was very good to, musicians and once a DJ to, you can still have a conversation with the music going on in the background. Just a short walk along the front you reach many bars, restaurants and shops. There is also a lovely harbour. We hiked to Makarska one afternoon for lunch, it was quite challening at times through the forest but great scenery and views. We also got a taxi there one evening for a change of scenery. 14 euros in a taxi from the hotel. If your thinking of booking please don't hesitate, this is proably one of the nicest hotels and areas we have ever been to. Croatia is a very beautiful country, we will be back!

Overall good hotel and a lovely stay! LOCATION - The hotel is situated in a good location with its own beach where you can hire Stand Up Paddle Boards and Kayaks and close to the long stretch of shops, bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Its also very close to the zipline experience which I thoroughly recommend! ROOM- The hotel decor was done very well, particularly in the room, they were clean and came with tea and coffee facilities. However.. unfortunately we felt our room (612 - twin garden view) lacked natural light as it only had one small window in the corner of a large rectangular room (see photo). I know that most of the rooms at the hotel are lovely particularly if you have gone for a sea view. TUI UK misrepresented our room type in the photos so this came at a disappointment to us. TUI BLUE also described this room type in their website as "flooded with natural light" which it did not. I will note that when we raised this with the hotel they did offer their only other available room but it was still dark as it was based on the ground floor in the corner part of the hotel. POOL - Fantastic pool area, lots of sunbeds!!! FOOD - was nice with something for everyone. Breakfast was particularly good, lots of choice and the hotel had its own bakery - the pastries were delicious! Evening food could have been themed or presented with a few more options across the week. The restaurant did have a beautiful outside seating area overlooking the sea. We also enjoyed the low key entertainment, with a variety of live musicians. Its also worth a visit to the onsite restaurant- The Pink Cricket. They do the beat sandwiches for lunch!!!

Tui Blue Jadran was a one night stop for us after leaving Hvar, ferrying back to Split, and driving toward Dubrovnik. The hotel is very nice and our room was wonderful. We enjoyed a cocktail on the extensive, poolside area while watching a beautiful sunset. I have two other observations. The signage, leading down to the hotel from the main highway, was very limited. A gate, with what appeared be an intercom box, was unlabeled with any instructions. We finally figured it out and the gate rose, but signage, with instructions, would have been helpful and, as well, served as an indication of a higher-end property. My other observation relates to the restaurant. Dinner is served buffet style. There are many stations with high-quality offerings. It was fine and quite efficient. But while dinner was very good, the buffet format didn’t speak clearly to high-end aspirations. Maybe that’s just me! Subtle contradictions aside, I would certainly recommend the Tui Blue Jadran. It was a very nice part of a great Croatian experience!

My husband and I had the most wonderful time staying in this hotel. The staff were so lovely and helpful. A lovely lady at reception organised our car rental. The bar staff were also very nice, one evening we were the only couple left drinking outside but they did not hurry us to leave. My husband had a sports massage at the spa which he really helped him as he had a back issue when we arrived. The hotel is very clean and smells absolutely amazing! Our room was kept lovely and tidy by the housekeeping staff who were very friendly! We got a sunbed on the beautiful beach every time. There were a few disappointments, the beds were not very comfortable for us (very hard and a big dip in the middle as they were twin beds put together) so didn't sleep too great. I was woken at 6.50am one morning by a housekeeper vacuuming and moving the chairs around on the balcony above us. We had our room near the barriers for cars to enter and exit, the beeping noise from it was so loud this also woke us up in the mornings. There was also some mould on the bottom of the net curtain in the room. At breakfast there was lots of flies on the cheese and meats which was very off putting. Despite the above concerns it was a beautiful hotel and I would hope to return again one day. Many thanks for all hard work that is put in by all the staff!

Everything was wonderful. The only remark would be the relatively small bed size, and lack of bidet options in the bathroom.

We are now completely spoilt for future hotel room views as we had a wonderful junior suite with sea views on the top floor which was simply spectacular. The hotel has a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere as does the whole area although the local beaches (including the hotel beach) become very busy at weekends with local families. The food was of a very high standard both in the main restaurant and Pink Cricket and we also enjoyed the bbq (beautifully cooked beef and tuna). After dinner and a drink in the bar we would sit on our balcony where we could listen to the remainder of the entertainment which was really pleasant. Trips- Skywalk trip via e-tuk -excellent!, Krka waterfalls - beautiful but extremely busy and a very long day, walk to Makarska from hotel- long, beautiful walk (took about an hour with photo stops) and thoroughly recommended. Tucepi has lots of restaurants, bars and makes for a pleasant walk. A couple of little ******* for the hotel- there is no option to have tap water with dinner. Whilst I understand the hotel wishes to sell bottled water and many would still choose this, the tap water is of such high quality (even drinkable from bedroom taps) it seems petty not to allow guests to consume it in the restaurant at dinner. There is no option to have a kettle in the junior suites. Whilst a coffee machine is provided it does not make absolutely boiling water so tea doesn’t taste good. Lastly, I think guests would prefer an adult only section of the restaurant. Couples don’t generally chose to sit near babies and families would prefer to be near other families. Other than these little suggestions , the hotel is absolutely wonderful and the hardworking staff are very pleasant.
