Hotels near Namba Yasaka Jinja in Osaka

The hotel is within walking distance from JR Namba Station (about 6 minutes) and right in the middle of 2 Osaka metro stations on the Midosuji Line, Namba (M20) and Daikokucho (M21). Good location. Lots of shops and eating facilities around. Nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast from 6.30 till 9.00 in the lounge downstairs. Not the most cosy setting, but still, the Japanese style breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The lobby is equipped with a washing room, vending machines, pc/printer, newspapers,... The rooms are not gigantic, but big enough. Everything you need is available in your room: watercooker, TV, wifi, refrigerator, airco,... Bathroom is as it should be: small, but clean and good shower. Check-in time is quite late (4PM) unless you're a Toyoko Inn Member, than it's 3PM. Check-out is quite early at 10AM, but it appeared to be quite the standard all over Japan. If you travel in/to Japan more than once, consider getting the Toyoko Inn member card: earlier check-in and after 10 stays 1 stay is free.

Exceptional service - the front desk helped me to arrange taxi to the airport and it was not easy because they were fully booked. The person tried many times and finally found a taxi for us, much to our relief. The front desk is trained to ask all the right questions, staying calm. They also helped to receive my transferred luggage from another hotel. All timely and accurately. It deserved a 6 star for such exceptional service. The hotel ambience has a calming effect as it is dark but lighted on the areas that you need to see. We have no problem even though some people commented on it. Great location Room size is comfortable and considered a fair size, in fact, slightly larger and well planned. Breakfast has a good spread. Think it is great to open at 6.30 am as it gives maximum time to have an early start. Highly recommended for couple and families.

先週末、スポーツの試合で怪我をして緊急外来が見つからず、もう寝たいが一心で当日予約でお世話になりました。チェックインをご担当された夜勤のフロントの方、バックにおられたマネージャーさんに怪我のことを話して、部屋で休んでいました。 夜中に痛みに耐えられなくて、タクシーで緊急外来病院へ行きました。病院へ行く際、ホテルへ戻ってきた際は、フロントにはスタッフさんが不在でした。 翌朝チェックアウトの際に朝のフロントの女性スタッフさん（2名）が私の状態を伺ってくださり、夜中に自分で緊急外来にかかったことなどを伝えました。雨が降っており、重たいボストンバッグを持っていたので、フロントのスタッフさんがタクシーを手配して下さり、タクシーまでボストンバッグを運んで下さいました。 皆様のご親切にただ感激しております。本当にありがとうございました。 I got injured while playing a team sport over the weekend and we struggled with finding an emergency hospital. Then I wanted to rest on a bed, so walking into the hotel and got a room. I told the night shift receptionist and duty manager what had happened, and went to the room to rest. But over the night, pains hit me hard and I couldn’t stand any more so went to an emergency hospital on my own. When leaving the hotel or coming back, reception staff members were in the back office. The following morning, when checking out, two young receptionists who were in a morning shift asked me how I was feeling. I told them that I had been to the emergency hospital over night and other circumstances. It was raining at the time and I had a big Boston bag, so one of them organised a taxi. And she carried the bag to the taxi. I am really pleased to your staff members’ kindness and great services. Thank you very much for wonderful and professional attitudes!

Choose this hotel because station Nankai Express to Kansai Airport is just right in front of hotel, which make dragging of large luggages was so convenient. Surrounding of hotels (like just next to hotels) has many foods like McD and others; as well as Takashimaya and other department stores at Namba station. Though room is small (Queen size bed) but luggage can be store under the bed. Complete toiletries (except no face mask like Hotel Sunroute Shinjuku) but they hv foot massager. Safety box not working for the room. Definable will stay here again.

The hotel is right next to the Namba Parks Shopping mall. For those who opted to use the Nankai Rapid Train can reach the hotel within an hour from the KIX station, if the queue for buying the train tickets is not too long. From train station, it was simply a 5 to 10min max if with big luggage. Around 10 walk to the nearest Namba Metro Station, or 15 min if you choose to use the Hanshin train line for Kobe or Kintetsu line for Nara as the two train lines shared a common station. The room is spacious for Japanese standards but could be bigger in reality for two people to open both luggages at the same time. It’s good that they have designed the toilet area into three separate spaces, so each space can be utilise by a person at a time without crossing the other’s path. Overall, well recommended for everyone who wants to stay in Namba area, and the staff checking in and out for us was the same person with a super nice and welcoming attitude. Such a good memory to remember.

Hotel is stone throw from two of the major POA, Kuroman market and Dotonbori, and Kintetsu-Nippombashi Station where one can escape the weather element anf shop till Osaka Namba station....The hotel has everything you need and the packet Kopi aka Coffee is good. The hotel provide free umbrella too in case there is rain

Our priority was to get a affordable hotel near Namba station to have transport to the airport and also to be close to attractions such as Namba Parks,Ebisu Bashi-Suji Shopping Street, Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street in Dotombori, all this tour we have been able to do it on foot and following the instructions that with kindness and precision Takeshi gave us. The hotel has fulfilled our expectations, but the best has been its excellent treatment, make you feel at home with its friendlyness and attention. Prime location. Located at Namba Station (Exit B21) with 2 way escalator. Came in from Kyoto and it was definitely easy to move the luggage on the escalators compared to carrying up the stairs. Nankai Railway also within a 6mins walk, also allow easy access to reach airport from hotel. Room is large for Japan's expectation. My family were quite shocked with the spacious room as our previous trips to Japan booked at the similar pricing only allow a portion of the room size. Breakfast is decent but 5 nights in, we got sick of the options. Only changes made to the mains (pasta/noodle). Others like takoyaki, is a staple since its japan. Hotel can get pretty crowded, so breakfast can queue up long line. Front desk is hard to communicate with, as per mentioned. I booked 4 rooms under my name for my group of 11 pax. In the noon when we reached from kyoto, the front desk lady (who speaks english) told us the bookings are confirmed but the rooms are not ready so we left our luggages with the hotel. We returned at night to 2 japanese guy whom speaks no english. When we tried to help after waiting for close to 15minutes, we were shush because they got confused of my booking (1 quad, 1 triple, 1 double, 1 twin room) Select Rooms

The location is unbeatable, multiple convenience stores around, 7-10min walk to Dotonburi and various stations, lots of restaurants and quiet streets at night time. The hotel also has a cafeteria with free tea, water, melon soda, coca cola and other refreshments that are available 24/7. The room itself is simple but very comfortable and has everything you could need. Rooms are cleaned daily and amenities replenished too, even if you opt out of cleaning by sticking a ”Do not clean” magnet on the door, they then put everything in a bag and hang it on the handle. The staff is mostly professional, speak decent English and the check-in/out process was easy. Where it loses points is due to the following: On one of our big days out exploring, we came back to the hotel at around 8PM. The Front Lobby was filled with a big and disorganised Chinese group/family of 12-16 people who were scattered throughout the lobby. They did not all have a hotel key card, I know this because there was an employee by the escalator using his key on the elevator to send up them to their rooms. So my girlfriend and I got our keys out, got to the front of the other elevator and showed our cards as a way of gesturing if we could go up. The employee rejected us and we got the idea that we had to wait. Now I don't know about you, but I don't see why I need to wait for something that isn't my problem. Their lobby was littered and the tourists were being loud and screaming at eachother from across the room. We were not going to wait. Line them up in front of one elevator and use the other one for people who are entering and exiting, and if no one is entering and exiting, then let them use both elevators. Such unprofessionalism. We decided to leave and go for a walk and kill time at the local convienience store, but it definitely ruined our day and experience with the hotel. Another reason is I asked if they could make a restaurant reservation on my behalf, the bird cafe that I wanted to go to had a registration and booking process that was not friendly for tourists. It required me to write my Japanese Name for some reason, as well as phone number. The hotel said they could not make such reservations for me. I ended up walking in and was lucky it was a weekday and it wasn't as packed. Also be sure to check how many adults is listed on the room you plan to book, I didn't check properly and mine said 1 Adult, even though it fits 2 and the amenities were stocked for 2, this mistake of mine cost me 14,000yen (2000yen a day) because I had my girlfriend with me.

Location was fine if you want to take bus to and from KIX. Because it is just next to it. Can easily take bus no. 60 to aquarium. Supermarktet and few stores are located on the same building. Check-in was fine. Most of the staff can communicate in English very well. We had our issue with cleanliness as the room was dusty and they did not change cups and glasses. We complained and got new glasses but the dust and dirts were still there.... Provided amenities were less than other hotels, even with less stars. Breakfast looked at first quite impressive, but after three days, almost the same choice. Staff was nice and friendly like what we can expect from Japanese Culture. Room is small and overpriced in my opinion. In general the view was great. Breakfast OK. Cleanliness need to be improved. Due to the old-fashioned furniture dust and dirts will be there....
