A great hotel! I was a little worried because of the low ratings, but the receptionist was very kind. The hotel has heating, and there's a decent restaurant diagonally opposite the hotel to the right. The hotel is also very close to the city hall, so there are plenty of food options. Photo 1 shows breakfast for two, which cost 90 rubles. We booked in advance and they delivered it directly to our room. The food was quite good and we enjoyed it.

We stayed twice (October 6, 2025 and October 17, 2025). The location is excellent—close to the airport and no road noise. Wonderful, helpful staff—from reception to room service from the restaurant. The breakfasts are wonderful, in a cozy restaurant. The food at the Okhotnikov restaurant is a whole other story! Huge portions, delicious food...and, for especially picky little guests, they even prepare porridge, mashed potatoes, and salad. 🙏 I'm very grateful to the staff! Any request I make by calling reception is fulfilled immediately, without long waits—both from the maid and from the restaurant. Thank you for your work! I won't look for other options anymore; we will only stay at Zvezda. 🫶🏻

Staying in a four-person backpack room, the room has a bathroom, clean and refreshing, great! Although it is a hotel, there is still a communal kitchen, and there are magnetic buttons to enter and exit without passing the counter, which is very convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay. We rented a spacious apartment, and it was comfortable for us and our small child. The staff was very pleasant, thank you for a comfortable stay. The only issue is that the tram tracks are nearby, so the sound is quite loud. This didn't bother us, but it might bother some who prefer super quiet surroundings.

Although the room was small and not new, it had all the necessary facilities, and the bedding was clean and hygienic. Across the road from the hotel entrance is the gently flowing Angara River, with many water birds. You can find coffee shops and other amenities nearby, and they are not expensive. The hotel's exterior is a typical Brezhnev-era Soviet-style building. I was very touched by the free luggage storage, as it's very inconvenient to drag luggage around on my two-day trip to Olkhon Island, and both the minivan and other transportation options charge for it.

I initially booked for two days to check out the facilities, and then extended my stay for a few more. The room was a bit small. Since the central AC was off, and it was a bit cold during my stay, the front desk proactively offered extra blankets and a portable electric heater, which was a lifesaver for the rest of my trip. The service was good, and responses were quite quick. The facilities are just average, but it's very clean. They also actively assist with visa-on-arrival applications.

We really liked staying at the AsiaEurope Hotel 👍🙌we didn't even think there were such hotels in Irkutsk. Here everything is done with design, in modern style 👍 everything is thought to small things. The location is excellent, with a direct shuttle from the airport. The environment is clean, with a kitchen and hot water. The only problem is there's no front desk staff; it's all self-service, which might be difficult for those who don't speak Russian. Yesterday afternoon, I arrived but couldn't get in. The phone number left at the door didn't work, and no one answered the doorbell. It was freezing cold, and I asked two strangers, but neither of them understood English. A third person finally helped me call the hotel and explain that I needed a password to open the door. Even connecting to the Wi-Fi was extremely difficult; I couldn't understand a word of Russian. Later that evening, a front desk staff member came to register my information. He spoke English and finally got the Wi-Fi working. After that, he left. When I checked out at 10 am the next day, no one was there.
