An otherwise pleasant stay ruined by somewhat incompetent communication surrounding a private transfer booked through the hotel. For those booking a private transfer through the hotel it’s worth knowing the following:
1) this is a third party arrangement and as such whether it is “private” or not is at the discretion of the third party
2) In the event that a transfer is not private, the hotel does not appear to need or feel it necessary to inform you.
This situation happened to me when leaving the island, having checked out early and being informed by reception which was my boat, I departed the island on said boat only to be made to turn around 90% into the journey as there was supposed to be another passenger. The hotel simply said this was the third party decision and whilst they were aware of it on the day, had not informed me (resulting in me traversing the stretch of water multiple times). All in all this was the cherry on an otherwise miscommunication-strewed cake (they never mentioned the private transfer had to be paid in cash, and they miscommunicated breakfast would start at 6:30 when in reality it is 7:30). On the plus side, the location is good for dive shops and the food was nice. However, I wouldn’t personally recommend this place to family or friends.

The place is a cozy escape. The cottages were unique and comfortable — felt like in a fairytale cabin that is surrounded by lush vegetation.
Tucked away from the crowds, it offers stunning beach views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. the peaceful setting was just what we needed to unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and recharge by the water.
Oh, the staff were hospitable. I like the idea of the “HONESTY-Basis” of the restaurant. and yeah, they have a friendly pack of dogs you can play along with. 💕💕💕

Alex Le HoangAbout the room: Price is around 2,200Pesos (40 USD) per night for 2 people. They dont provide hair dryer, slippers in rooms. There're only 2 towels, no mat for CR. Air-con is Philippine traditional style which means it's somehow noisy but acceptable. The utilities in toilet are poor. Luckily they still have hot water even though the shower head is not functioning well.
They let us check in early (11am) because there's available room.
The best thing about this resort is the view. It's stunning and adorable. I enjoy taking a rest here.
Food in restaurant is also quite affordable.
The location is not far from the Consuelo port, but it costs 300peso (5USD) to ride a tricycle 1 way (hotel to port).

I loved the pool, and the food was great. I am not a big fan of their breakfast, but I highly recommend their vegetable and mushroom or chicken and vegetable fried rice. The price was reasonable too.
The location is quieter than other places I have stayed or came upon. It is far away from karaoke shops so you don't hear much singing than other places. The room was decent and clean, even though the bathroom could be bigger with better water pressure.
Overall, I would like to stay here again.

Guest UserThe hotel is basic, but the price is really affordable. The Wi-Fi in the rooms is poor; you have to go outside to get a good signal. There’s no TV. This wasn't an issue for us, though. There's a water cooler with hot and cold water available at all times, as well as coffee and sugar. It has its own beach access. It's a small beach, but it feels almost private :) It's an excellent spot for snorkeling. The coral is beautiful and very close to shore, so you don't have to swim far. You might even spot turtles and sardines. It's a bit far from other cafes, but there's a cafe right on the beach that will gladly cook meat and other dishes for you. We especially liked the pork and beef – just be sure to ask them to make it 'not sweet,' as Filipinos tend to sweeten everything. The phrase 'no sweet' saves the day! Overall, this hotel is great for a short stay.

If you are looking for a fancy stay, this isn't it. But if you just need a place to sleep for a very cheap price, Aosmec CampHotel is definitely worth it. It’s perfect for solo travelers or backpackers who are only in Manila for a quick layover or a US Embassy appointment.
The ”rooms” are actually indoor tents, which is a unique experience. Even though you're in a tent, the air conditioning in the main area is strong, so it stays cool enough to sleep comfortably. The location is the best part—you are right in the middle of everything, close to malls and transport. Just keep in mind that since it’s a shared space, it can get a bit noisy when other people move around or unzip their tents. If you bring earplugs and don’t mind sharing a bathroom, you really can’t beat the price. For a low-budget stay, it’s a solid 4/5 stars.

Guest UserHonest review for Northville Beach Resort 🌴✨
The place is really nice, clean, and beachfront, which made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The ambiance is calm and perfect for a family getaway, and the staff were very accommodating and kind.
Just an honest feedback — the aircons in 3 rooms were not as cold as we expected, and the shower in 2 rooms was not functioning properly. But it was still manageable for us since there was a balde available and we’re not very picky.
Overall, we still had a good stay and enjoyed our family vacation 🤍 Still a must-stay for us for a chill beach getaway 🌊 Also very near the port, which makes it very convenient. And there’s WiFi, which makes it very convenient.
Thank you Northville .

The place is good, the good point is that have the room on the beach and that’s great, the room is not very fancy but the price and location is good! The service also is great and the workers also very helpful. The beach in front is not the best in Bantayan but is not crowded and is relax so for the price is very nice just the room is not fancy but have all you need.

The location of the hotel is not the best. The room I stayed was facing a very noisy road filled with traffic noise and it’s surrounded by local houses with noisy roosters that start at 3:30 am. There’s no swimming pool as it shows in the pictures. It’s under frozen construction which was right over my room. There’s no hot shower.
The owner is very sweet and welcoming! Very nice lady Ruby. She gave many useful tips about the island and helped with booking the diving course.
If you’re not a diver, this place is not the best option for you. There’s not much to do on the island. It’s very undeveloped and there’s are only few stops to enjoy the beach life.
