Blue Beach Grand Resort and Spa

Rawai Beach Phuket|2.2km from Local Dive Thailand
A very good hotel for lovers of a quiet, quiet, secluded stay. It is located right on the seashore, but it is impossible to swim here - often the ebb and the water leaves, and when it comes - muddy muddy. You can walk along the coast and admire beautiful sunsets - sunrises and take beautiful photos. There is free transport to the beach (Nai Harn) (car with an open body) from the hotel - it takes you in the morning at 9:30, picks up at the same place at 16:30, you need to tell the reception that you want to go. very clean rooms. The room has two huge beds, three large wardrobes, a table, an armchair, two benches, a refrigerator, a TV, a safe, an air conditioner. shower, toilet, bidet. Always hot water, except for days when the whole city is without electricity (the administration warns about this in advance by letter) - we had this once a week of rest. They give different little things every day - gel, shampoo, cotton swabs, two small soaps, a Bathrobe and slippers, as well as two bottles of water, tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk powder. And there is a thermopot in the room. Well, and a mini-bar on the wall in the form of an altar :)) and in the refrigerator beer, soda, mineral water - for money. Internet is quite decent (free in the room). A large balcony with a table and two chairs. The view from the windows is stunning - the sea, there are no words, how beautiful. From the opposite side of the hotel, the view from the windows to the green parking (1-2 cars), flowering trees, the city, mountains and Big Buddha - as in the palm of your hand - also a good view. No rubbish. To the side of the road, so no noise. Sometimes the mosque sings, but when the balcony is closed it does not interfere. Cocks and birds also sing. The staff is smiling, friendly. They clean the room every day, wash the floor so that everything shines. Very clean. No insects. no flies, no mosquitoes, no one at all. Towels (large, small, for the feet) are snow-white. They change every day. The bed linen is always clean, also snow-white, 3-4 times a week. We washed and cleaned everything without any tip, we left $ 10 at the end of the trip. (For 7 nights) About breakfast: it is portioned. a hotel employee comes up and asks you - an omelet? potato? bacon? pancakes? - if you agree, then they bring you on a large plate, beautifully served omelette, 3 small pieces of potatoes (stewed with onions), 3 pieces of fried and crispy bacon and two pancakes (pancakes) with honey. There may also be two tiny sausages or two pieces of ham (or without them). In addition, on the tables in the hall there are plates with chopped watermelon, melon and pineapple, tomatoes, cucumbers, 2-3 types of salad leaves and sauces for them. Croissants and white bread, which can be fried (there is a small brazier right here), tea, coffee, milk, juice. cereals. two kinds of jam. In general, there is more than enough food for breakfast, we were never hungry. You can also order lunch and dinner here - there is a menu and a price list, you can order it in the room, there is also a price list and a menu in the room, but we didn’t try it. On the territory of the hotel there is a swimming pool, sun loungers near it, a tennis table. There is also a massage (the price is more expensive than on the street or on the beach). If you want to go to Karon or Patong beach you can ask at the reception

Found this hotel by chance online. An absolute gem. So booked online, hotel prices were quite reasonable so we booked a private villa with a pool. Easy booking online. Getting there was not easy, it’s a new hotel so not on Grab, or any map at the time for that matter. But driver found it. It’s inland so either get a motorcycle/scooter or car for easy in and out trips. Check-in was warm and pleasant. Loved that tea - I kept asking for more. Hotel was not fully operational in August, felt like a pre opening stage, but everything was up and running. Staff were great. Villa was just amazing. Clean, simple but with everything you need. A walk-in type closet to hang your clothes. Superb bathroom (that bath was something else). Sliding doors (bathroom and room) access to the desk by the private pool. All clean and new and so comfortable. Wifi was excellent. Breakfast was great, with the staff being warm and kind and helpful. In fact everything on their menu was great. Gym was great. The main infinity pool was just beautiful, with nice views of chalong bay. So yes we extended a few times - thanks to the manager and staff (thanks Bee). We checked other villas just to compare - all looked nice. We rented a scooter to zip around and go to the Muay Thai area for some sports, and were able to go to the beaches nearby or city to get on a boat etc. All in all, a superb spot. My favorite hotel of the year. Would love to go back.

The Elysium Residence

Chalong Phuket|0.35km from Local Dive Thailand
I recently stayed at The Elysium Residence in Chalong for 8 nights. Very modern and immaculately clean with a fantastic swimming pool on the second floor. There is also a small but very useable gym. My double room with balcony on the 4th floor faced the rising sun each morning. The room itself was like new and again clean and functional. The staff here are superb. Friendly and approachable. This hotel itself is a 5-minute walk to Chalong circle and a 12 minute walk to Chalong pier ( gateway to Phi Phi island ) Chalong hospital and Chalong police are across the road. Close by a 24hr 7/11, a Supercheap and a Big C ( mini.) 100 metres to the right is the HomePro Mall which has everything you need for a comfy stay. Villa Market, KFC, Lucky13, Starbucks, MK Restaurant (recommend) Dunkin Donuts, a Pharmacy plus many more smaller stores selling clothing, cellphones, nick naks etc. If you wander around the nearby streets you find many local Thai restaurants, markets, massage, bars and the like. If you are confident riding a scooter I would suggest renting one @ around 200 baht a day. Big Budda is a 10 minute ride away from the hotel and Phuket town a further 10 minutes from there. Be sure to stop in at Chalong temple. The closest swimming beach and one I recommend is Kata (12 minute ride) The beaches closer to the hotel, although swimmable are not comparable with the ones on the west coast which are far superior. Tip..if hiring scooter wear a helmet at all times and make sure you have at least a bike licence on you and a photocopy of your passport (you don't need original). The Police go fishing daily for 'farang' on scooters..500 baht fine for no helmet, 1000 baht no licence and they usually always frisk you for..stuff. Enjoy your time here, it's an awesome place.

We stayed for 4 nights booking a Sea Front villa at approx. £51/night. When we arrived, we were disappointed to be told the room we'd booked, way back in August, wasn't available, but they would upgrade us to ”their best suite.” We wasn't keen but said we'd have a look at it. It was a higher room, several flights of stairs, it was big, it was a family suite and I'm sure some nationalities would love it, but for us, it was a no! So, our room not available, we were shown a Garden View room, 101, it didn't have much of a view but we were told our room would be available the next day. The next morning, our sea view room was available - it was stunning! Nice bright living area, fridge, TV, sofa, big balcony with sea view, big bed and separate shower, toilet, wash area. It was everything we'd hoped for! The resort is located in a quiet part of Rawai, the beach is tidal and not very attractive. There isn't anything really within walking distance. A short walk to the main road, but the heat is relentless! The resort has 2 pools, we only used the sea view pool, it was stunning, seriously, one of the best pool areas we've ever encountered, anywhere. Plenty of sunloungers. The restaurant was nice, the menu had a good selection of Thai and western dishes. Bar and food prices were reasonable. Our 1 disappointment was the price of water. You paid more if you wanted it cold! They only sold small bottles 40bt 50bt cold!! Seems a little wrong to us! We ate breakfast and dinner each day, breakfast was very nice, good choice of food. Service was very good and all the staff and management were very friendly and helpful. We really did have a great stay and would definitely return to room 106!! The resort was very clean. The pool area spotlessly clean.

Facilities: There is an elevator, the room is large, and the shower has hot water 24 hours a day Hygiene: The room is clean, whether it is bedding or other items, and can be placed in a living room Environment: The location is not on the beach. You need to ride a motorcycle or take a taxi to travel. It takes a while to walk to the beach. Service: There is only one person who can speak English, and the rest of the staff basically cannot speak English. There is no problem in basic communication using translation software. Disadvantages: The arranged room 301 is next to the road. There will still be the sound of vehicles passing by at night, and the sound is quite loud.

I can't say that the location is good, but for your reference. It takes about an hour to get to Old Town, including traffic. The return trip was about 30 minutes without traffic. There is a coin laundry nearby, and a beautiful coin laundry is about 10 minutes on foot. The old coin laundry is about 5 minutes on foot. The room, especially the bathroom, is not tiled, but Japanese people It was very clean with a floor quality that you would probably be happy about! ! The staff were in a hurry, but the next day they smiled good bye. He sent me off. It is very cheap, so for those who want to travel alone or want to reduce travel expenses It is a recommended hotel ^ ^

I found myself having to stay longer than intended in Phuket, on short notice, and couldn't be happier I found Phuket Paradiso. It's a great place to stay. Charlie makes you feel so welcome and relaxed. It has the comfortable, warm feeling of staying with family. Clean, safe, secure and only 30 seconds walk from the beach. Nothing is too much trouble for Charlie and his team. He makes an effort to get to know every guest, drops little treats (drinks and snacks) outside your room and is great fun to chat to. I'll be staying here again without hesitation. 5 stars is not enough!
