Seabed Grand Hotel Phuket

Phuket Town Phuket|2.93km from Pink Lady J S Cafe
This hotel requires a lot of improvements. That being said, we spent more time out then using the facilities. Check in process: We arrived at 12:30pm, asked if we could check in earlier which they advised it won’t be ready for 40mins. We came back 40mins later after having our welcome drink (which was purple dyed coconut water in a martini glass). He said it won’t be ready for an hour so we left the hotel to walk about. It’s now 14:10 (check in time is 14:00 so you’d think it would be ready), we were told to wait another 20mins. We finally checked in at 14:30. Food: We only had breakfast at the Hotel as we were so close to Old Town, it didn’t make sense to eat at the hotel and there’s a 7/11 near by for snacks. Breakfast was not great. Food was bland, options were very limited. My husband and I didn’t eat much, we were only there to make sure our kids could eat a bit of fruits and pastries. House keeping: They do not sweep, we know this because our son would bring croissant back and the crumbs were still there after they’ve come in to replenish our towels. Reception: They were lovely and informative. Most of the above feedback were out of their control. Swimming Pool: The pool beds looked and felt a bit out dated, I have stayed in 4 star hotels in Phuket that were in better conditions than this 5 star hotel. That being said my kids still had a lot of fun in them. Location: Not walking distance from Old Town but close enough that the taxi’s only cost up 150baht each way. I’ll unlikely stay here again nor would I recommend the hotel to our friends and family. It was ok but not great.

Khao Rang Place

Phuket Town Phuket|1.27km from Pink Lady J S Cafe
We were satisfied with our room in this hotel: - the room was clean and got cleaned every day - there's a fridge in the room and you get a small bottle of water every day - it's near the city center of Phuket Town (around 15 minutes on foot) but you don't hear the traffic in the center (there were some roosters next to the hotel, and they were pretty loud and active from around 5 am, but I guess this was something temporary because nobody else wrote about them :D) - you can climb the Khao Rang viewpoint before the peek tourist hours (it takes around 10-15 minutes to the top) There are no real negative parts to this room, but just in an fyi sort of way - we booked a room with a balcony and although the balcony was there, it's not really a sort of a place to sit in and relax, which we thought it would be (you enter it through a window, it's pretty small and tight). The other thing is that we needed transport to the Rassada Pier early one morning and the hotel has or can organize this transport - but the price we were told was pretty high (700 baht!), which is pretty strange considering that even the regular-taxi-mafia charged less than this. I wouldn't mind staying here again, but mainly since my boyfriend and I aren't drivers and couldn't rent a scooter, next time I would probably search for accommodation closer to the bus station because this would make it easier to travel to other parts of the island with public transport and avoid taxis as much as possible.

Loved our stay here. Very clean hostel. Has everything you’d need. Close to the old town. Friendly staff. Spacious beds and the dorms are surprisingly quiet. Would recommend

The rooms are simple but pleasant, and the location, right by night market and in close proximity of numerous cafes and restaurants, is excellent. The buffet breakfast is once again simple, but satisfying: there are pieces of toast, hard boiled eggs, cereal, banana muffins, watermelon, tea, coffee, juice, and a few other foods on offer for you to choose as you like. All in all, great accommodation by the Old Town in Phuket!

We were in Phuket only for 2 nights and Sleep at Phuket was excellent choice. Location is great, near city center. Room was clean, air conditioned. There is also TV if you’d like to watch some Thai shows :). In our room view was at other building which was about 2 meters away from ours. So if view at the city is what you’re looking for you’ll probably keep your curtains closed, like us. Except for that it was a pleasant stay. In the building is also washing machine and elevator. Rooms was daily cleaned and shampoo and shower gel was provided.

The service is wonderful, we arrived early to a lovely reception and were told our room would be ready soon. Great, asked for lunch recommendations and that was spot on. Returned to our bags already in our room - (please take note all other hotels). Our room was spacious with a verandah that overlooked a busy road with a noisy bar across the way. Music stops before midnight and we didn't hear a lot of traffic. Pillows were large and hard, 2 on each bed so maybe they could look at switching one out for a not so puffy or hard one, my sleep was broken and I think due to the pillow type. Breakfast was just okay but the coffee was good. Great location but would I stay again? Yes, but only if I couldn't find something off the main road with a better pool.
In Phuket House

I stayed at In Phuket House in July 2019 for 5 days. It was a great location, comfortable room, and the BEST MOST HELPFUL HOSTS! The hotel is in an excellent location, right around the corner from the tourist authority, which is also very helpful with maps and information. It is a 1 min walk to the Trick Eye museum, and 2 min walk to down town. Everything was convenient and easily accessible. In and Jo were the best possible hosts. They both speak excellent English. Unfortunately during my stay there was a monsoon, which made it impossible to do a lot of the outdoor activities I had planned. In and Jo were incredibly helpful at helping me to find alternative activities. They called multiple different cooking schools for me to help me find one that was a good fit, and made phone calls to various other activities multiple times to help me find the ones that were best suited to me. In and Jo were incredibly attentive, In even showed me how to open mangosteens without making a mess :) Also, In was incredibly helpful at telling me where i could find vegetarian restaurants, and answering every question I could possibly come up with. The room was much nicer and bigger than it appears in the photographs. Everything was clean and well organized. Unfortunately my room did not have a window which I would have liked. I had a wonderful time during my stay, and we could happily go back. I highly recommend In Phuket House!

The hotel is on the roadside, it is very easy to find, the room is very clean, mainly the waiter is very good, there is a question and answer, the morning girl also gives the place to specify the car (from Phuket Town, take a double car to Patong Beach ป่าตอง, 30 people per person), next to the hotel is a massage shop, you have to go a long way to eat, go out to the left to the three-way intersection and turn left, go to the second intersection and turn right, go More than ten meters have a hot pot restaurant, not expensive, more than 200 plants more than 300 plants, the taste is very good, business is very hot, in short, this hotel is still very good value for money, excessive is a good choice
