This was an off the cuff holiday having had an Easyjet flight cancelled to Preveza on the Greek mainland, then Parga for my 69th birthday. However, we had already actually booked Piskopiano Village for June so my wife thought why not, we will see what it's like. Wow, what a great idea. We stayed in €2 a day apartment tax and the money for the 14 days was requested on arrival. Shown to the room which was just below the top pool level, no offer of assistance with cases 1down the stairs. The room I have to say is the most basic I have ever stayed in. Unfortunately the weather was so cold we had 2 single beds but slept in 1 to try to keep warm. The room was next to a overgrown field and one morning we woke up it had rained overnight..... about 80 - 100 snails on the balcony, side wall and canopy! and it happened more than once. So we decided to ask to see the de lux room we had booked for June. As someone commented previously, steps! Out of reception to the top pool, down about 60 plus steps the lower pool, walk around the pool and another 60+ steps to the car park area (also called the children's playground area). A walk around a path then up a flight of steps (again about 60) and that was the room. Imagine carrying suitcases! We are 69. The receptionist looked at at us and basically knew it wasn't for us. She offered us a premium room which was just 17 steps down from the top pool - no problem, no charge. However even the de lux accom. wasn't great, it did have a TV as did the premium. We were glad to get home. On a positive note we enjoyed the area as we have stayed in the Sunrise Apartments in Koutouloufari (100% better) so knew a few of the places although a lot were still closed. Sounds like a joke but between April and June I tripped over the dog on the stairs. Bashed my head, fractured my knee cap and knuckle - so June cancelled and all money back, a blessing in disguise.
