Well, I booked it through tripadvisor. Maybe Europeans and Americans like it. I think it's a bit too simple.

The best place to stay in pokhara... It's a lakeside hostel so you get that vibe of staying away from the city but at the same time it's in the city... Everything is accessible and lakeside market is at walking distance... Absolutely brilliant location...

One of the best experiences. Staffs at the property are super friendly and helpful. Used to have bonfire at the property every night which was great. Food is amazing as well. Be it 4:30am or 10pm, the staffs are always ready to help. Can't wait to visit pokhara again and stay at this property.

The most beautiful Zostel I have been ever! Has a river flowing inside the Zostel campus. Deepak and Sazan are absolutely lovely hosts. Clean bedsheets, good bathroom, good food, very friendly people. Had an amazing time! If you are travelling solo, this is the place to stay. It is away from the main town and that is for a reason, the views are worth it

I recently had the misfortune of staying at Zostel Pokhara with my family, and I must say it was the worst accommodation experience of our lives. I feel compelled to share my encounter to save fellow travelers from enduring the nigh**are we went through. Here's a comprehensive breakdown of the multitude of issues we encountered during our stay: Incompetent Management: The management at Zostel Pokhara displayed a shocking level of harassment towards their customers. They seemed disinterested in providing any assistance or resolving our concerns. Lack of Facilities: To our dismay, Zostel Pokhara provided absolutely no facilities that one would expect from a reputable establishment. Basic necessities such as hot water were non-existent throughout our stay. Nonexistent Hot Water: Despite our repeated requests, hot water was a luxury we were denied. It is unacceptable for a supposedly reliable accommodation to fail in providing such a fundamental amenity. Disregard for Customer Requirements: Zostel Pokhara demonstrated a complete disregard for our requirements. They failed to answer our calls and ignored any attempts to communicate our concerns. This lack of responsiveness left us feeling neglected and helpless. Room Mismatch: The room situation was a disaster as well. Although we had booked specific rooms, we were given entirely different accommodations without any explanation or apology. Unprofessional Manager: The manager's behavior was downright outrageous. When we dared to request hot water after a tiring day, he confronted us with aggression, pointing fingers, shouting, and yelling. To our disbelief, he was clearly intoxicated, which only exacerbated the hostile situation. Forced to Leave: In the middle of the night, the manager took his unprofessionalism to a new level. Instead of addressing our concerns, he asked us to leave the premises simply because we had asked for a resolution to the hot water issue. Such behavior is utterly unacceptable and demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism and respect for guests. It is evident that Zostel Pokhara has numerous flaws and fails to meet even the most basic requirements of its guests. I urge all readers to reconsider staying at this establishment solely based on the Zostel brand. Trust me when I say that this is not an isolated incident – it is indicative of the poor quality and service provided. Save yourself the trouble and explore the abundant alternative options available in Pokhara. There are countless accommodations that prioritize your comfort and well-being, unlike this disappointing Zostel branch. I sincerely hope that by sharing my honest experience, future travelers will be spared from the frustrations and disappoin**ents we encountered. Let this review serve as a cautionary tale and a plea for Zostel Pokhara to take immediate action to rectify their numerous shortcomings. This Zostel was so natural, with a nature's stream passing through the Zostel where me and my friends even dipped and got a small bath in (with the host's permission of course!) The food in the Zostel was amazing and there were frequent musical activities at night. But what made the trip special was Deepak's hospitality as a host. He helped arrange paragliding experiences for us, hiking to waterfalls, going to organic Nepalese coffee places, watching Fewa lake and Himalayas from on top of a high mountain, etc. I still talk about how we didn't deserve the hospitality we got from Deepak. I will be back again someday here with my friends, as my experience was unforgettable.

Such a welcoming and helpful host. The food is great too. He suggested us places to visit and sometimes tagged along to show us the way. The place is just too beautiful. The surroundings are very pretty and almost everything is accessible from the location.
