Puerto Azul Suite Hotel Reviews

We stayed at Puerto Azul early May 2024 and had a wonderful stay and looking forward to returning in September. We’ve been visiting Puerto Pollensa since 1997 but first visit to Azul. It is a wonderful hotel, great location, superb facilities and lovely/ helpful Staff.

Excellently run hotel in a quiet part of Puerto Pollensa. Rooms have a separate bedroom and kitchen/lounge area with full size kettle and fridge. Clean, plenty of hot water, friendly staff and variety of good food. I particularly liked the Mallorcan cheese. Marga was an excellent waitress. Good sized pool. A lot of effort has been put into catering for babies to oldies. This is a good hotel if you have a young family or are an older couple. Not so good for teens and young couples under 40 perhaps. The beach, bus station, hikes, boat trips and Gola bird reserve are an easy stroll away. We enjoyed the Boque and Cala San Vicenc hikes, the Roman ruins of Pollentia in Alcudia, Formentor, Pollenca town, and snorkeling. This is a great place for a varied holiday with a quiet vibe. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Staff were so friendly and made it feel like a family run hotel. Room was lovely with a huge comfortable bed. Food quality and choices at both breakfast and dinner were extremely good. My husband had hired a bike and there is a large secure garage for cycles. The pool area was really clean and never overly busy. Other guests respected the policy on not reserving sun beds with towels so this was never an issue. I would definitely stay here again.

Having stayed at the hotel last year, we returned during the half term and everything was just as good if not better. The staff really make this place special with once again a special shout out to Rafa, Sven, Leah, Katy and Nicol who work so hard with the entertainment during the day. We will be back next year!

This is our second visit to this hotel in the last year as we just loved it so much the first time (Back in October 23). The Hotel is just lovely. It is clean throughout and the staff work hard to keep it so. It is very pleasantly decorated throughout also and very comfortable. There are always plenty of sun loungers available. The food is amazing and high quality, with so much choice; there is something for everyone's taste I would say. The staff are so friendly from reception, to the restaurant & bars, to the room cleaners. Our rooms and bathrooms have been spotless and the beds comfortable, including the sofa bed in the lounge so my daughter tells me. Lots of pillows available. Bathroom has large walk in shower. Plenty of storage for clothes etc, although could do with a few extra hangers. You will need to take your own beach/pool towels or rent from reception. The room has a large full size under counter fridge for free, with a small ice box in it. Puerto Pollensa is a lovely friendly small resort with plenty of shops and cafes etc nearby. Close ot the bus station. All the entertainment team were all lovely, and we enjoyed the activities during the day and some of the evening entertainment. NB: Unfortunately the Pool is not heated which is refreshing in May/June, but was far too cold in October for me. Despite that it is a lovely clean pool and pool area BUT is quite deep all around apart from the kids pools of course so just be aware of this. All in all we just love it here, and will definitely go back again when we can.

Excellent Hotel & Staff.Location very good. In my view Puerto Polensa best place on the island of Majorca.

Visited in 2019 and came back (with two grandchildren, son and daughter in law) to find the hotel is every bit as good as it was last time. Absolutely fabulous with excellent food, comfortable accommodation and great staff. Its location is perfect - minutes from the golden sands of Puerto Pollensa with its shops and restaurants- but quiet and serene with lovely Mountain Views. The entertainment is excellent and the kids had a wonderful time in the pools.

This was our 3rd consecutive year going to this hotel as part of my Hubby’s Cycling Club’s annual trip and I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The location is perfect to the centre of Port Pollença, just a couple of minutes away. The rooms are very spacious, with a lounge area plus a bedroom. Lovely shower, quite large. It would be nice to have a kitchen sink and an area to prepare a snack or drinks, but not a problem, as the breakfast choices are very good, so fill up then. The food choices at dinner are great, especially the salad bar. There are always meat and fish cooked on the plancha at every dinner service, along with a good choice of hot food. All dietary choices are covered even gluten free options. Every evening there’s entertainment which is a mixed bag depending on what you like. The Entertainment Team are amazing! Rafa, Sven, Katie, Nikol and Lea really encourage you to take part in the activities and you have a great laugh. They organise daytime activities for those who are not cyclists like me and the other WAGS!! As I said, this was our 3rd time and we have met guests who have been there before so it’s like a mini reunion of old friends. We go early May so it’s early season and it’s nice and quiet. There are usually some families with pre School children in the kids area at this time of year. I can’t comment what it’s like during high season as it’s a family hotel and they do cater for children - maybe a little noisier. The hotel is immaculately clean. The Housekeeping staff are on duty from around 7.00 cleaning communal areas before starting the rooms. Everything is spotless. I do have a gripe and that’s the sun bed savers!! To be honest, when we go, it’s mainly cyclists who are out during the day, so it’s quiet during the day, so perplexed why people save sun beds when there’s more than enough for everyone - stop it!! I guess it’s worse in high season when there are possibly fewer cyclists and more families, so again can’t comment on how the Hotel deals with this, but I find it annoying in general anywhere this happens. I think a sign of a great Hotel is the fact the staff are the same each year. Some of the staff have been there virtually since the Hotel opened, so there’s consistency and tells you the owners do care about the their staff and customers - good core values - and they remember you, which for me personally makes a difference and means a lot . Looking forward to returning next year and catching up with staff and guests again

Our 3rd trip as a family to Puerto Pollenca but our first to the Puerto Azul - the best hotel we've stayed at as a family. What an amazing hotel this is. Spotlessly clean, food is fantastic, all staff are very friendly and helpful,day activities and evening entertainment spot on. Special mention has to go to Rafa, Sven, Lea, Katie and Nichol in the animation team for how they were with our two children (7&3). Our kids had the best time all thanks to these wonderful entertainers who took the time to engage and play with them all day.....and at the mini disco in the evening too! But sorry guys Eva will miss Tino Penguino the most! Incredible memories made that I'm sure will stay with them for many years! Thank you all so much! We will definitely return in the future! Just back from a week in this fab hotel! We had never been to Puerto Pollensa before so didnt really know what to expect. Both the resort and the hotel exceeded our expectations. All areas of the hotel are so clean and well kept. Cleaners do an amazing job of keeping the whole place spotlessly clean and staff are all so polite and friendly. We were half- board but thought we could go out to eat on a few nights. We never did, as the food is as good as you would get anywhere on the Pine Walk. Breakfasts were amazing with a choice of both cooked food and healthier options Not meant as a criticism, but we were not offered any breakfast on our last day ,as we were on an early flight- maybe a packed breakfast could be left at Reception for those leaving before the restaurant opens - just a thought. Puerto Azul we will definitely be back soon!!

Without doubt the best place I have personally stayed in in Peurto Pollensa thus far. Clean lovely entrance,bright and very welcoming team who helped with any information we needed. Stayed one week renting bikes and they get stored underground and you pay 5 euro (which is returned) for a padlock key to secure the bicycles to a wall. Pool when we got there was of good size and not as cold as I thought it might be (once you get in of course). The staff were excellent right across the complex. We stayed half board and the food was excellent with plenty of choice through the week. All in all and excellent place to stay close to everything you could need. Highly recommend.

Spent a most enjoyable week at this wonderful hotel. Lovely suite with very comfortable beds. Rooms cleaned every day to a high standard. Buffet restaurant for breakfast and evening meals and lunch menu available too, (prices similar to beach front eateries.) Great breakfasts both hot and for the health conscious cereals yoghurts cheeses and cold meats etc etc Fantastic choice for evening meals and all to a very high standard. Dietary requirements well catered for although maybe more info for the various sauces available . All staff from reception to room service dining room to bar were exceptionally friendly and polite. Animation did an excellent job too. One small point!!!!!! Many many cyclists in the hotel (and area.) Guys please don’t wear your cycling shoes around the hotel, especially in the morning 6 am+ coz they can be very noisy!!!! Great hotel for families with younger children and couples too. Spar nearby for water etc.

This is a lovely hotel in my view. It covers 3 floors in blocks covering 3 sides of a square and the open side is where the sun is all day. All the rooms are suites, so you get a lounge and a separate bedroom along with a big bathroom , walk in rain shower and plenty of storage for your toiletries. Both lounge and bedroom have tv's which only have ITV channels in English. I took a Firestick but the WiFi isn't the best. It drops out a lot, even by the pool or near the bar. I did a speed test and the best that I recorded was 13mbps. The pool area is excellent with plenty of good quality sun loungers. There are also padded ones on balconies for adults. Everyone there is on half board but the food is really good with plenty of choice and the sweets are better than most hotels that I have visited. There is a big bowl of Haribo at the evening meal, which everyone seemed to grab on the way past. The meals in the town are quite expensive but for a lunch, have a look at the pool bar.The food and prices are good. Cleanliness is really good as well, there is always somebody cleaning something during the day. The only thing I noticed was that the sealant at the bottom of our shower screen had mould on it. They have entertainment every evening but it's a very small stage in a corner of the bar. Overall though, it was okay. Bar prices are similar to here. A bottle of house wine is 17euro's, which I didn't think was too bad.

I originally intended to stay at the Puerto Azul Suite for one week as part of my cycling holiday with friends. This turned out to be an extended holiday due to a cycling injury I picked up in my first week and was unable to fly home. Fortunately the Puerto Azul Suite stepped in to support me and my wife to ensure that we could remain at the hotel during this period until I was fit to fly home, which I have now done. I want to say a big thank you to all the staff that work at the hotel for the kind support care and attention is showed to me and my wife during my extended stay there. It's always a cliche to say people have gone the extra mile for you but this was definitely the case here from the management and reception staff through to the entertainment staff, bar staff and the cleaning staff. Whilst I became a regular fixture over my three weeks there, they constantly provided me with support and were always interested in my health, welfare and recovery. This level of care I'm sure is not by chance and instead displays an exceptionally high level of customer care and I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to stay at this hotel just for this experience alone let alone the facilities which were equally excellent.
