Hotel Margherita

We hated our stay unfortunately. It is run more like a hostel then a hotel (we paid 440$ per night which is crazy for what you get). Breakfast was barely edible. The view was spectacular from the room but we’re right on the road so you hear all the cars. Our room was above the breakfast bar and under the restaurant so we were woken up in the morning by guests chatting and at night until 23:30 we had all the noise from moving chairs and dishes and silverware clutter from the restaurant. We heard every foot step from the hallway and the rooms near by. The shower stall is tiny and the doors didn’t lose so water would go everywhere. For a 4 star hotel that charge that much we excepted more. The staff is all young with no smiles or genuine hospitality training. We were given misleading information about rentals, hiking directions and bad restaurant recommendations. They offer shuttles which is convenient. Overall we felt ripped off and really didn’t enjoy our stay of 3 agitated nights.

Fantastic stay! Praiano was a great base for visiting the Amalfi Coast. It is in between Amalfi and Positano and offers stunning views as well as more tranquility. As for the hotel, everything went very well. The rooms are cute and clean, the breakfast was good and the pool was a great plus for those lazy days. As for the staff, all of them were very helpful, polite and professional. From the cleaning lady, to the chauffeur or welcome desk. We really felt taken care of. Thanks a lot and see you soon!

The best managed hotel. Best from the best for management.

Great hotel with a view and the staff was excellent. They were very homely and accommodating. Will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be close to Amalfi.
