Hotel Floresta

Had a fabulous Holiday at Hotel Floresta the staff were pleasant and one in particular think his name was Herbert or hewbert very pleasant gentleman we had a lovely quite apartment hopefully someday we will return Lanzarote is a lovely place to visit....

We have had another great stay at the Floresta, many thanks for the rooms we requested Ulrike, we had a lovely welcome on arrival from Eduardo which started the holiday well. This is a spotless well run hotel rooms are spacious and maid service excellent, our grandchildren love the pool which allows inflatables. A special enthusiastic animation team work hard to entertain all ages their energy is amazing. If your looking for a family holiday this is the place to be, lovely beach nearby and a walk or taxi into puerto del carmen. We will return again hopefully

What a stunning place. The whole hotel is immaculate, the staff work so hard and always have a friendly smile, the rooms are pristine and cleaned every day! The food was amazing so much choice and so fresh! Fresh meat and fish cooked in front of you, paella was the best I’ve ever had! A lot of previous reviews had worried us but this wasn’t the case at all, our children can be quite fussy and they had loads of choice everyday. Staff constantly replenish empty items, the fresh salads were lovely. Breakfast was a real treat with so much choice everyday! We didn’t eat out once despite planning too before we came, we just didn’t feel the need! The location is ideal right on the beach and Marcos bar is a must visit also! We had a pool view apt near the smaller kids pool and it was perfect for us so quiet with a huge balcony and a stunning view! Lanzarote skies are beautiful! It’s our first visit to this lovely island and we always say we don’t do the same place twice, but floresta ticked so many boxes that were already planning our next trip there!

This is our 1st visit to this hotel despite visiting the area often. ( usually the Geria - next door) . It certain offered a bit more than expected with a large 1 bed apartment in a quieter area with a pool just off its main , more busier central pool. It had a lounge and kitchen diner that became very useful as we didn't eat all the food on offer with half board. We found all the staff friendly and helpful to the point where Eva the receptionist saved us both a meal apon our late arrival. The food was good standard fare, but perhaps needed a little more choice for the breakfast and evening meals. There were a couple of themed meal nights too. It's situated perfectly pretty much opposite the beach, bus stops and restaurants and directly opposite a small supermarket store. We liked it enough to rebook for next year and returning customers get 10 per cent discount. Certainly a hotel worth consideration.

Stayed for a week AI. This is a very good 3* hotel. Friendly fast check in. Hotel very clean. Cocktails good. Wine at meals not so good. Food - limited choice and mainly luke warm at best. I ate a lot of salad and fish, but partner struggled to find something and we ate out a couple of times in the evenings. Room was very large with separate bedroom and self catering kitchen. Air con only in living area, not bedroom. Would be too hot for me in the mid summer without air-con in bedroom, as the ceiling fan just blows hot air around. Wifi in rooms and around pool, not in restaurant, which i really liked as it encourages you to leave your phones and talk! Pool was lovely and refreshing and hosed down each night around loungers. Plenty of space and loungers around pool (although the hotel wasnt full). We never had to reserve a sunbed and always found one when we were ready to chill. No aqua fit, which was a shame, as I always participate in that (It was advertised as every other day). Evening entertainment was ok. To sum it up, I would recommend this hotel to families as the bloke who entertained the kids was full of energy and fun, and the kids really loved all that. I wouldn't go AI if I came to this hotel again...probably B&B and eat out in evenings, as we ate at a lovely Spanish restaurant one night, and also went to Marcos bar across the road and it had a great atmosphere, ate lovely food, drank great cocktails, and enjoyed the country singer.

Lovely clean hotel, gorgeous pool area with plenty of sunbeds, great cocktails for only €5 (we were on a bed & breakfast package) great breakfast - lots of choice and plenty of it. Great location for beach and local shops, bars etc, big spar shop just over the road for essentials. Only a 25 minute walk into Puerto del carmen for a bit more to do in the evening!

After a long wait to check in, we had a lovely time at Hotel Floresta. Our room was well equipped with a little kitchenette, plenty of space in the living area, bedroom & bathroom. And when we checked we allocated a room for 30 minutes to get a quick shower and change. We were self catering so didn't really engage with any staff other than the cleaner, who was so lovely. Rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels are provided everyday too. If you don't want your room cleaning then the cleaner will ask you to sign her schedule, which I thought was a good idea. There is a handy spar on the doorstep along with Marco's bar which do a lovely breakfast for under €5. The bus stop is outside on the main road and is very cheap into the *****. Also lots of places to eat and drink round the corner on the seafront, good places to watch the planes come in.

After losing my dad and also my job in the same week I needed to destress and relax so booked a last minute 5 night break to Floresta Apartments for myself and my 13 year old. As it was last minute I’d done no research and was just hoping for the best! However I’m so pleased I did. Check in was quick and easy and Martin explained everything we needed to know. With my 13 year old boy in tow it was obviously straight to the bar for a snack for him and a drink for me while we waited for our room to be ready which was right next to the bar and pool. I had booked here specifically because they were apartments as it was just myself and my son and being a teen he sometimes likes his own space and what space he had, the apartment was so large! Lovely living area and kitchen, fairly large bedroom and spacious bathroom. It was spotlessly clean all around, straight across from the beach and just perfect for what we needed. All the staff were fabulous (big shout out to Martin, Ruth and Tito especially) and the food was great with plenty of choices, fresh cooked meats each time and themed nights also. The snack bar food was also really good and overall the food got a big thumbs up from a permanently starving teenager. The main pool is huge and feels quite warm once you’re in, there was also loads of space and plenty of sunbeds so no mad rush in a morning, we strollled out at 10:30 after breakfast and got sunbeds every day right by our room in front of the pool. There’s a promenade with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants just over the road and the bus stops are also right outside, plus only 20 mins from the airport! Overall I’m really glad I picked here and we both came home tanned, relaxed and destressed after a great few days away. Would highly recommend this hotel.
