Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort,Puerto Vallarta

I was at this location 2 years ago when it was Grand Fiesta Americana. The dinner restaurant menu and quality were excellent. As Hilton the quality of food at the restaurants has definitely gone DOWN from a 8 to 5. The night entertainment is very bad. They need to do some more fun pool activities and night shows. There is nothing to do at night after dinner. I would recommend working on better menu options, quality of food and entertainment. The Mexican restaurant has mainly American food. The Italian restaurant has very limited options and the food is not good at all. I couldn't even eat my Italian food. But the location, service and view of the hotel is excellent. I hate writing negative reviews but this is an honest review. Thank you!

A lot of tipping is expected... Hotel did not provide currency exchange and we relied on the bellboys, who usually have the most tips, to exchange. They of course expected some for doing this.

Food was good but not great. Everything else was fantastic, and our trip to a nearby resort for a wedding made us appreciate what we had at the Hilton even more.

The hotel was nice and clean, I loved how close our room was to the ocean. On our last night we heard the whales swimming nearby. It is a bit far from the center where the Malecon is located so transportation is a must. The entertainment and shows were great. Food was okay, my favorite restaurant was Cocomar (seafood) but only available 12-5 so having any outside planned activities, it was difficult to make it on time. Arriving at the hotel from the airport, we were not greeted by front desk staff. The person who checked us in was a bit rude and forgot to mention a few important things..like the hotel website we need to make dinner or other reservations. It wasn’t until I asked about it that he sent us the link. The rest of the staff at restaurants, bell guys, concierge, bars and room service were polite. The Italian restaurant staff even sang for my Dad since we were celebrating his birthday which made him feel extra special. Overall I would stay here again.

Love this place! People/staff are very friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to help us out with everything.

The property was beautiful and the food was great,not that much entertainment.The 24 hour room service is a great amenity.This a great family and couples resort if you just want to come and relax.Close to downtown,Romantic Zone and The Malecon(only a 5/6 dollar Uber ride.)I will definitely come back.

Each room has an unobstructed view of the ocean. Magnificent! Beds are 5* quality. 7 restaurants and 5 bars to choose from. Excellent spa facilities (I had a deep tissue massage). Location is stunning. Right on the beach. A couple of whale spotting occasions that helped with the appeal. If you prefer being closer to the action downtown, it's about a 10km distance.

Nice hotel. Great food options but you need to make reservations for restaurants upon arrival which could be hard to get. Only 2 pools. Beautiful views. Ocean access. Close to downtown. The children/kidsclub needs to update their availability - kids under 3 can only go before 11am which is so hard during vacation, by the time you wake up and eat it’s already 11am. Liked the night activities offered. Would recommend.
