Hotel well located for those in Rio de Janeiro on business, with easy access to the central area and Niterói. Very well decorated, beautiful environment and the rooms are large and in good spirits. The restaurant has great options, is very varied, and the food is very tasty. Breakfast, even with the protocols against the coronavirus, is well served, varied and very tasty. The best of all was the service, the whole staff very helpful and attentive.

I actually had 2 comfortable nights at this hotel but their website just kept on charging my credit card over and over. Thankfully, it showed up on my phone, so I was able to inform the staff and show them the receipt at the time. A very helpful front receptionist said he would contact the finance department and that when I checked out early the next morning' it would all have been rectified. When I went to reception, no one could help and I was told to wait for the manager who would be on duty after my flight left..... So far, no response from this hotel and no money back.I've contacted my credit card provider and so I now have to battle to get my money back. My experience of checking in was in I’m afraid to say, truly awful. I arrived at 5am and the older gentleman checking me in was ignorant. Apparently, he was the ‘English speaker’ on duty and he completely ignored me when I asked a question. I received no information whatsoever about breakfast times, where facilities in the hotel were and he didn’t even have the good manners to look up at me when I checked in, he just opened his hand for my passport. He started huffing and getting obviously irritated when I asked if it were possible to arrange a later breakfast as I wouldn’t be getting to bed u TIL 6am, despite having to pay for the hotel for the night before. The guy actually just ignored me until I asked him directly and he didn’t even look up and said ‘no’ in a really annoyed manner. Great customer service, thanks! Thankfully, when I had need to speak to reception staff during the day, this was a much better experience. I spoke to a young woman and on another occasion a young uni man who were friendly and helpful, so much so, I decided to stay again on my return trip the following week. That was up until they kept charging my credit card, firstly through the own hotels website that said the transaction failed but charged the credit card and then again when duplicate monies had been charged by the hotel. Mistakes happen. It it how quickly and satisfactorily they are sorted that makes the difference between staying there again and avoiding it. Would I recommend staying here? Yes, breakfast is good and the hotel was clean and quiet on the 19th floor. It is dated and could do with updating but it is not bad value when they don’t empty your bank account! Just pay in cash if you’re staying there and avoid that nasty old man on reception who works at night.

The reception is beautiful, but the rooms are old, the bed is very hard, I asked to swap a soft bed room, and they said they were all so, the shower was full of screw, yet the water is very strong, good. Breakfast very simple, bread, brunette, cheese, some fruit and soup and mexed egg, which was warmed, I think it was black. Good service, it can improve. A strange, middle-smooth, street with a lot of noise, and very bartish. The air conditioning is from those of the window, old and makes muiiiiiiitoooo noise, but it is very frozen.

We arrive at the place in the night, around 20h. The hotel is in front of a abandoned square, the parking (which is charged from the side, 35 reals) is a place of abandoned slopes, gallons with wallless areas, some vagues covered for cars, The hotel staff did not tell us that it would be possible to get into the hotel by the parking lot. We left the car there and went out by the street, my wife, I and two children, loading bags and bags, and on the street several mendigs and people to the traps perambulating (probably drug users). The parking door is not far from the hotel's reception, it should be at a maximum of 30 meters, but it is completely contraindicated for families, especially if you have children. The room was in the first floor, very dark and very dark, without any natural lighting, even on the day. The bathroom was reasonable, a good shower, hot and cold water. Since that room did not allow to sleep with the open window, because it entered a lot of hot air out of the air-conditioning split engines, we were forced to sleep with the air-connected (in the room I stayed was the window). The feeling was disgusting, smell of mopho.

My first 3 days were horrible because they left me in the 3rd floor apt 307 horrible mopho smell, shower with problem that burned me, dirty bed that gave me allergy coffee only cheese bread and sown only, Then they put me in the larger room that was less worse the air was completely dirty and no wet ice cream all the room.

Stayed here due to the hotel being so close to Rio’s Bus Terminal. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfy and dinner wasn’t bad either. Has a really nice rooftop pool with great views of downtown Rio. Good value for money! There’s not much outside the hotel but it’s a good hotel for stopping on your way through Rio or to catch and early Bus.

Checking very quickly. Very attentive staff, very tasty breakfast. I will come back more often
