We stayed in a level room with a sun terrace on a bed and breakfast basis. The room was spacious with a seating area and a sofa. It was clean and had everything we needed. The sun terrace looked out over the sea and we had sun all day. Level facilities were good. Lovely outdoor seating area with alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available and very tasty snacks and sweet treats. The breakfast in the level area was tasty and all the items on the menu freshly prepared plus lots of buffet items were available. My husband swam in the level pool and enjoyed it. We both spent time in the other pool too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff from the moment we arrived until we stepped in the taxi back to the airport. The staff were very busy seeing to guests needs but always smiling and happy to help. Would we stay here again ..??? Absolutely yes.

What a fantastic place for a romantic break. Hotel was amazing! We stayed in one of the suites with the Level package and it did not disappoint. Great selection of snacks during cocktail hour with branded alcohol. Fizz, wine and coffee available all day. Breakfast menu selection was great and food was delicious. Staff were friendly and views were stunning! We are already looking at booking for next year.

We returned for our 6th visit in January and the hotel is better than ever. The hotel closed for 4 months in 2023 for refurbishment (it wasn't 'tired' before though!). The big changes are that all rooms have been refurbished and freshened up (new furniture and décor, including balcony furniture, plus 50" TV screen - all 5 UK channels available, plus HDMI input socket!), the old Italian restaurant moved to another location, allowing the main Restaurant to be made more spacious and less noisy. What were previously known as 'Deluxe' rooms are now renamed 'Junior Suites' and the rooms really are spacious (35sq metres, I believe), with walk-in showers, a 6ft double-bed, a sofa-bed, and a small table and chairs to sit at. Just be forewarned that where you could request a twin room before are now mostly double rooms but with the sofa-bed which can be made up and is perfectly comfortable. In addition, other changes are a welcoming drink on arrival :) and a distinguished programme of classes during the week, all provided free of charge, plus great evening entertainment (we LOVED the duo on Mondays, with Olga singing and an acoustic guitarist - both super-talented). By 'distinguished' I mean things like classes in jewellery making, soap-making, art, liqueur coffee-making, local Tenerife cultural knowledge, and mindfulness which have been really well planned and thought through, setting the hotel apart from most hotels in our experience. The team of 5 (I think) headed up by Domenic (native to the island), with Cecilia and Christian are all great and put together a great offering. After the refurbishment it was great to meet again some of the old faces - Johann, Emanuele as porter and welcomer, Raul on Reception - all so friendly, helpful and welcoming. In addition, of course, the restaurant customer-facing team is headed up by the outstanding Laura, who is SO welcoming and absolutely delightful. The terrace, used for outdoor dining at breakfast and dinner has a stunning view, overlooking the town below and out to sea, and sitting drinking cocktails in late afternoon is the most relaxing place I have ever been. How could they improve? The bar staff are not quite as good as previous years, when headed up by Johann (who has been promoted) and, on occasions, the restaurant felt like it was under-staffed (drinks orders and tables getting cleared not as quickly as desirable). Will we return for a 7th time? 100% we will!

We visited this hotel for the first time May 14th 2024 and had a wonderful week. From stepping onto the pavement on arrival, we received the warmest welcome and experienced a very swift check in. Every member of staff gave us excellent customer service. Our room was spacious, quiet and very clean and comfortable. The design of the hotel is amazing with little bridges and water features dotted around. The hotel creates a sense of peace and tranquliity, as you lay on a sunlounger all you can hear are the birds singing and the water running. The views from the bar and restaurants are awesome. We were all inclusive and the food and the drinks were very good. I absolutely loved the yoga and pilates classes, held outdoors, every day that were taught by fully qualified teachers who were very knowledgeable. Especially Cecelia who was so kind, caring and dedicated, she taught most of the classes that I attended. I enjoyed her Introduction to Reiki too that I had never done before. The Aqua classes, once a day, were also fun and very varied with lots of different equipment. There is live music every night that you can watch on the terrace whilst enjoying the evening views. The beach and lovely shops are only around 15/20mins walk but we were so happy with the hotel that we mainly stayed there and had a very relaxing time. We never usually go to the same place twice but have booked already for next year, that speaks volumes.

This hotel has lost its Soul ,I was Very disappointed, I had high hopes since it had a refurb All i saw was a change to main reception/The Level area and new restaurants, As having stayed several times over the years and it never disappointed this was the worst stay ever. I paid for the level as i always do and requested a high floor /Quiet area and access to a lift on 3 different occasions when booking to check in on line as was here for a cycling race. I was given a bungalow type room on a very low floor no access to a nearby lift but a load of steps which were not possible as i had a bike ,Also the said room was NOT a level standard room ,It was dark /no views /Etc In all the years i never had a complaint and i have stayed in the best room in the hotel amongst other level rooms so i know the hotel was pulling a fast one, I returned to the Level reception and politely advised of my dismay to what i was been given, In fairness within a few mins i got another room with a view a highish floor access to a lift I feel duped as having been a level customer over the years that they did this to me ?? At no time did a manager make contact to discuss

Hotel was good but the food does warrant the 5 Star rating. Where the breakfast and lunch was good, the evening meal choice was somewhat disappointing and mostly lukewarm at best. Also lacking in choice of bars (only 1) at night. On the plus side staff were great and very hard working and the room and pool was very nice. Back to Turkey next year.

So i’ll start with the positives. The hotel is in an amazing setting, built on a cliffside and has the most beautiful grounds laid with gardens and waterfalls. The rooms are clean, if basic, however you are provided with everything required. We didn’t have an iron or ironing board but after requesting it on the Melia app, it was brought to our room within 10 minutes. There is a free minibar included with several beers and soft drinks. The food is fresh and there are plenty of choices however it was often very similar each night so we got bored of it. The hosts in the all inclusive restaurant are really polite and welcoming, there was no issue with the service there. The pool bar has good service with lots of snacks you can grab. Now the negatives. The main bar service is slow, if you can even get served. We had to go to the bar often after waiting a long time for service, to be rudely told it’s table service. This happened several times and one occasion we waited an hour and a half even though they were serving others around us. Even after we complained, they completely ignored us and tried to give our drinks to another table. We raised this with management who i felt dealt with it well. They offered us a free meal in their a la carte restaurant which we didn’t take but it was a nice gesture. Noise carries through the whole hotel, whether it be the cleaning trolleys being wheeled around early morning or the night entertainment, there is little soundproofing in the rooms. Our room and terrace was set by a main walkway so we didn’t feel there was a lot of privacy with people staring as they walked by. They held an outside event at their a la carte restaurant one night which went to the early hours. The guests in attendance would congregate outside our room and show no consideration to the hotel guests. We were offered an upgrade to “The Level” for an additional €120 per night but turned it down as what you get extra doesn’t warrant the price. We often stay all inclusive and we’ve always been allowed to retain all inclusive service until our transfer arrives however this hotel informed us our wristbands must be removed by 12pm. I understand they have rules but this was disappointing after staying in other Melia hotels that allowed this. The hill to get back to the hotel can be tough so take that in to consideration should you have mobility issues, taxis are expensive. In review, it’s a nice hotel but we didn’t feel it deserving of 5 star, having stayed in 4 star Melia hotels that have offered better service. I will come back to Adeje but not at this hotel. There are cheaper options

Booked this one due to the excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. Lovely accommodation, restaurants, pools and staff. On the adeje hillside so magnificent views but also many steps (lifts available) and a bit of a walk to the main adeje seafront. Hotel does a shuttle bus to the seafront mornings, and return pickup at 5pm. Otherwise it's a local bus or taxi.
