Fira Calm Hotel

Arrived in Thira late at night, nowhere to check-in. Contacted one of the numbers on the confirmation email and got into the room with no problem. The day after tho, men started to show up at the door asking about our reservation and when we would have left. As we were 2 women, alone, I ignored then thinking it was some sort of scam. Until I started receiving calls from them asking to pay for the room because they didn't have received the money from *********** . I refused, locked myself in the room and immediately called customer service while 5 men kept banging on the door. Customer service told me that the money were deposited into the hotel account and I should be fine. I explained how scary was the situation out there and she reported the issue to her higher-ups. Ended the call and the "owner" called me asking me to open the door. He was RUDE, AGGRESSIVE and immediately started yelling and asking for his money. Told me that he called the police and they were going to detained me if I wasn't going to pay them 3k of "fees". I told him what *********** had told me but he didn't care, he wanted the money. Then I called the police myself, told them what was going on and that they could not find that Hotel name on their system, asked me to wait on the road for them to be able to find the right location but the owner was not letting me leave the corner of our room. At that point the police officer asked to speak to the owner, in greek, so I have no idea what they have possibly have said but...we were free to go. Took out stuff and left. While looking for another place I received the call from *********** higher-ups and after explaining all the situation, promised a full refund. Which I got the day after. It was the scariest situation I've ever experienced. Be careful!
