Recently we were allowed to travel outside Aomori prefecture. We booked plane tickets and hotel 3 days in advance. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by professional and friendly staff. Our temperatures were taken and all Covid precautions were maintained. Our room was spacious with a view of the mountains and a river. Bathroom was large with separate shower and bathtub. Robes and slippers were provided. Our stay included breakfast and it was delicious. Especially the made to order omelettes. Fresh fruit, vegetables, sweet breads and meats plus several Japanese traditional breakfast items were offered. Plastic gloves are given to use for the self serve items. Every morning we received a warm greeting and coffee from the manager. Everyone in the dining room and hotel made us feel welcomed. The hotel has a bus that shuttles every hour to the main Sapporo train station and shopping center. This was a great benefit of the hotel. We will go back and stay for the winter festival! We were on the 9th floor.

The room is very new. The hotel is not in the city center, but it is not far from Odori and the station. There are shopping malls where you can eat and watch movies nearby, which is very convenient. You can also walk to Nijo Market and Hokkaido Shrine.

The hotel reminded me of New York City's Empire State Building with the Art Deco motif. It's an old classic look which I found to be very appealing. Location wise it's less than 10 minutes on foot from Sapporo station. There are a number of tourist, shopping, nightlife and restaurant spots all within walking distance. The view from the room was spectacular and everything was very clean. The breakfast, especially the waffle station, was delicious and offered a wide variety of western and Asian dishes.

We had a terrible experience with the services that the free bottled waters were only for IHG members and we are NOT informed beforehand or while we checked in. And the hotel officers were really indifferent when we tried to communicate about this isssue. We were told “NO one could get bottled waters unless he/ she is a IHG member”. We haven’t been treated so around any hotel in Japan or in the world under any hotels groups. This could be the worst experience we had over a small issue due to the ill communications with hotel service team. Very disappointed on such discriminating hotel policies and we would not be able consider IHG group in Japan anyhow. It was a cozy hotel with good location. But facilities are aged.

It is located in the centre of Sapporo City. 10 minutes walk North you will find JR Sapporo Station and 10 minutes South you will find the busy commercial district of Susukino. If you are travel from the airport, the airport Liner bus stop is right in front of the hotel but the journey will take more than 90 minutes as there are quite a few stops before arriving at the hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Be sure to book the breakfast if available. It costs 3300Yen if pay separately at the hotel but the breakfast at the Northern Terrace is one of the best buffet breakfast I have ever tasted.

I’ve been to Sapporo several times and also wanted to stay at this hotel. Location is very convenient, just next to JR Sapporo station, driving there is easy as well. Parking for a small fee on site without the hassle of going outdoors is a plus as it is very cold outside during this period. Hotel is surrounded by many stores and restaurants, there are plenty to choose from. Breakfast is average, but the view is really nice. The nearby restaurants make up for the average onsite breakfast. The view from our room was fantastic, day and night view of Sapporo is an eye catcher. The amenities they provide is also of good quality. The hotel could use some renovation as it is beginning to look dated. Also downside is that the onsen on the 22 floor requires additional fee. It would be great if hotel guest can use it for free. Overall a very nice hotel and I would definitely return.

Close to Nijo Market, one of my favorite spots, and within walking distance to Suzukino for a meal The location was great! The breakfast was also multinational and I couldn't eat it all at once, so when I stayed at Susukino again, I wanted to conquer all the types of breakfast. The room is clean and bright I had a pleasant stay. Other than me, the body is big, but the bed is spacious and seems to have a good rest. The staff were also very nice, and I felt that it was indeed Marriott. I would like to stay again. Thank you♪

Stayed for 3 nights and 4 days with a 1 year old child. Because the child's sleeping phase is bad, the bed is difficult and I was looking for it in the Japanese room, and the bath was large like a house, so I decided to this hotel. The hotel is fabulously clean, amenities are well chosen and of higher quality compared to business hotels of same price range. Location can be a little far from major stations but it was a pleasant walk from Sapporo Station without much difficulty finding the place. The service was excellent although check-In was done on a tablet mostly when the front clerk was right in front of me which was a shame as the person could have done the same. (It could be the hotel's initiative on digitalizing the guest info sheet that is a legal requirement for hotels to do, I do rather type on the tablet than writing on a sheet of paper as I have horribly illegible writing style)

I was looking for an inn in Sapporo where I was soaring because of the schedule that I stayed for two nights from November 1 and three consecutive holidays, and I booked it immediately because this inn I found in JTB was the personal lowest price. When you arrive, the building is a bit old and feels history, but the staff is good and the room cleaning situation is no problem. There was a male bath on the second floor (the third floor for women), and the room was 8 tatami mats with the bus toilet, and it was a fresh feeling that it came to the hot spring inn even though it came to Sapporo. I wonder when I've been sleeping in a futon in a tatami room... I didn't care at all because there was no setting of a non-smoking room. If you are worried about it, the on-off sound of the refrigerator in the room was surprisingly large at bedtime, so you took off every outlet and went to bed, and parking the car of the guest without a gap in the space in front of the hotel entrance If you have a big luggage, you will have less 々 hard to get out of the road? The hotel is close to Nijo market and within 10 minutes walk to Odori Park and Suki, and the location is good, and the CP is high, and it was a hotel that I would like to stay again when I come to Sapporo.

The bath looks beautiful new unit bath, but the drainage is packed with a lot of hair, and the flow is terrible, and I took a lot of hair with tissue. ２ On the day, when I returned to the room, the room was cleaned and towels were replenished. The price of the Sapporo Ice and Snow Festival is hard to describe. Fortunately, I found this hotel on Ctrip half a year in advance. A four-person room costs 440 RMB. Compared with other prices of 2,000 per night, it is very conscientious. The key point is that the hygiene is quite good, the bathroom is public and the facilities are new. The location is good, next to Nijo Market and very close to Sapporo Tower.
