Marvelous, most German, cozy and welcoming family hotel. Very friendly staff and good kitchen. Very large rooms, everything spotlessly clean. Big, cozy, panelled lobby. Rooms with balcony and lovely view. Only drawback: bad wifi. No 4/5G so extra dependent on wifi. Guest-wifi and Firmen-wifi did not work. Bit of a downturn in 2023!

The hotel is beautifully located in a quiet, green spot. Although my room was not modern or recently renovated, it was clean, nice and large. The pool was refreshing and the wellness welcoming. I found the staff in the restaurant and kitchen very well trained and professional, something of rarity nowadays. All in all a very positive experience.

Wonderful Food the rooms with balcony have amazing views The rooms are large with a good shower There a plenty a areas to relax and enjoy the views. The swimming pool is great The staff are friendly and helpful

Nice peaceful hotel , ideal stop off on our return from Austria to Ijmuiden ferry. Particularly enjoyed the pool and spa.

Hatten abends hier an der Bar nur einen Drink genommen. Es waren mehrere Angestellte anwesend. Wir bestellten Campari/Soda. Es kam Campari und eine Karaffe mit stillem Wasser. Die (wahrscheinlich) sehr neue Bedienung wusste gar nichts. Kann sein, dass es ihr erster Tag dort war. Allerdings erwarte ich von solch einem Hotel, dass sie ihre Angestellten angemessen einlernen - was hier nicht der Fall war! Das Restaurant war zu ca. einem Drittel besetzt. Eine Dame kam aus dem Restaurant an die Bar, um einen Irish Coffee zu bestellen. (warum konnte sie das nicht an ihrem Tisch bestellen?) Sie stand ca. 15 Minuten neben uns an der Bar, bis sie ihr Getränk erhalten hat, weil keiner so genau wusste, wie man das zubereitet. Die "Krönung" des Irish Coffee bildete ein Berg Sprühsahne. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist hier leider unterirdisch.

Das Hotel ist sehr alt. Es ist fast überall bunter Teppichboden verlegt. Insgesamt sind die Räumlichkeiten sehr dunkel. Der Service ist extrem schlecht. Das Hotel liegt sehr abgelegen, aber dadurch sehr ruhig. Die Seminarräume sind ebenfalls in die Jahre gekommen. Man wartet trotz vorgestelltem Essen ewig.

Séjour en famille à l'hôtel pour le weekend de Pâques. Très bel établissement, personnel accueillant. Parking extérieur gratuit. Nous avions une chambre double confort avec balcon, très spacieuse et très bien équipée. Les 2 autres chambres étaient du même standing. Wifi gratuit dans tout l'hôtel sauf Welness. Propreté irréprochable, que ce soit les chambres ou les espaces communs. Très belle espace Welness, grande piscine et espace sauna. Petit déjeuner complet et très bon que vous pouvez prendre dans une verrière, top. L'hôtel proposait un menu de Pâques en soirée, à trois plats à 40€, rien à redire, excellent . L'hôtel ne propose pas de déjeuner à midi. Il y a un coin salon à l'entrée, mais pour nous, il manque un bar, surtout en soirée. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Si vous ne souhaitez pas diner à l'hôtel, je vous conseille l'hôtel restaurant Jaegerhof, à 5mn à pied du Monchs Waldhotel.
