Honestly if I could rate this place a 0, I would cause this was one of the most nastiest places for what they charge. $200 deposit on top of whatever room you purchase, the place doesn’t even provide you with absolutely anything, place is a scam! Every night the cops are called someone is getting arrested or doing ***** on the stair way not to say the room they gave us came with a broken bed and cockroaches coming out of the sink definitely not a safe environment! Save your money and time please

This holiday turned into a sad disappointment of expectations for our planned holiday to celebrate or 33 years married, all our previous visits over 20 years had been wonderful resulting in a exciting result in always wanting to return. this is not the case now firstly: Our evening arrival the office was closed luckily a maintenance man let us in to discover we were not on the system as being booked. My paperwork showed otherwise he said '*********** don't always let us know of bookings. He then booked us in with the added information we don't supply bedding/ towels anymore. we had travelled from England not expecting to accommodate ourselves with these items. He gave us 3 pillows/ 2 sheets, the room was not clean with toothpaste across the bathroom tiles and mucky toilet seat, no crockery/ utensils complimentary coffees. we bought water from the machine in the grounds. Speaking with the manageress the next morning we were told it had changed ownership and these were not given anymore. she was very sorry that we had not received any update on how the 'hotel' was now run but did arrange clean bedding and towels for that day. We had to buy crockery/utensils along with many microwave meals as no cooking equipment.The next 2 weeks it was clear the 'rules' of the pool were ignored by a family of 5 children aged from 2 upwards who took over the pool area with eating in the pool, diving and the 2 year old had nappies on which were clearly not swim nappies..Dog fouling was seen inside the pool area and by the access stairway stinking the area. Our holiday of a lifetime was ruined, the staff were so apologetic but could not alter the new 'hotel' policy. She was in touch with her regional manager on how the images on the web site show original pictures of the Hospitality suites which misleading holiday makers is certain. Please can we receive some expected replies from the 'Hotel' Bixby as to why we were not informed of the changes as for certain we would have cancelled.

Terrible value for the money. Old building with a very badly done remodell. Very uncomfortalbe beds no water pressure. Best Western should be ashamed for having their name associated with this property.

Hotel Bixby was very well situated for the meetings I needed to attend. Pictures are deceiving, as the rooms were much smaller than pictured, amenities not open (lounge, breakfast area), and facilities with reduced hours. Yet clean, well maintained and has great potential.

We found Hotel Bixby Scottsdale when hotel hunting. Location was near where we needed to be. Close to the airport. Lots of amenities near. Hotel recently renovated and in process of new owners taking over, Staff very friendly and helpful. Kristen saved us by accepting a package on our behalf. we left our passports on the plane and they were found and returned to the hotel for us. Not noisey despite being on a busy street.

An unpleasant place in an unsavory location. Trying to stay relevant but passed that mark a long time ago. Encountered transients sleeping in the out door elevator at early morning checkout because site is not properly secured. Shower enclosure in room only provides half cover. TV screen small and unable to be rotated for better viewing if desired. Restaurant only open early hours of day.

I'd stay there again if I go back that way. It was up to my expectations, the space was set up nicely for an extended stay. My only issue was the spotty internet connection. Otherwise, this is most definitely a place to stay if you have to be in town for a long period of time.

Looks like a renovated retro boutique hotel from the late 60's early 70's with a central pool patio area. Location is really convenient with a decent size parking lot. Rooms are on the smaller side with Microwave oven, Fridge/freezer, and coffee maker. Freezer needed to be defrosted as the bottom was covered with ice. Microwave oven was convenient, worked well enough, but noisy. The coffee was so stale that I think it was left over from the re-opening. Bathroom on the other hand was on the larger side and provided space for our bags. No shower door on the stall, which wasn't too much of a problem since the flow from the head wasn't that great. It did take a few minutes for the hot water to arrive, so you may want to start your shower early while you do something else. If staying here I would suggest getting the top floor, we could here every step of the people above us, which made us very conscious of our steps while walking around in our room. Really felt sorry for those who were below us. The Grab and Go breakfast was free! That's it! You get 2 choices and something to drink. Frozen micro sandwich, yogurt cup, piece of fruit, or a muffin, without variation. Our stay wasn't bad, but I did expect better for what we paid.

Perfectly adequate room. The price seemed high for the quality. Plenty of room for luggage. Nice microwave. Nice check-in staff. They kept a $100 deposit which will be returned. I do not like this practice. I know it is common but I don't think it is fair to keep money beyond the time frame I am there. I would be fine with a room inspection at check-out. It is a hassle to check my credit card to see that it was indeed refunded. Especially when they state it can take up to 7 days. What are they doing with peoples money in the meantime? Floating it in investments? I have no idea, but I don't agree with it.
